When I first reached out to S&S it was with the goal of establishing a long-term working relationship with a competent repair facility that was capable of completing good quality work on my classic car. This goal was not achieved.You can read a detailed chain of events elsewhere below but the short version is as follows:I would not recommend anyone do business with this establishment unless they are desperate. I brought my vehicle into the shop for four simple things, I expected those things to be handled efficiently, for the diagnosis completed to be correct, and for the communication between the technician, the service manager and I to be fluent. This was not the case. The inspection was half done, they refused to test drive the car, the diagnosis on the ignition control module was incorrect, the diagnosis on the radio was incorrect, the diagnosis where the transmission fluid was leaking from was incorrect. I was informed that the rear main seal was leaking which was incorrect, no one told me that the engine was running rough and that the timing needed to be adjusted, the parts S&S ordered for the headlights were incorrect, and the communication between Tim (service manager), Scott (parts manager), the mechanic and I completely broke down.Furthermore, the service manager is not a mechanic. In my opinion one of the main requirements of a service manager is the ability to communicate with the customer or with the mechanic knowledgably when it comes to discussing mechanical issues. After I picked up the car, I emailed Tim a list of my concerns and instead of saying “I hear your concerns and assure you we can communicate and do better in the future” he took the we are right and you are wrong approach to resolving the situation. The shop took absolutely no responsibility and no fault other than acknowledging a misdiagnosis of the radio and Tim stood behind his staff blindly. Regardless, of the defensive stand Tim took he assured me that S&S and I could continue to work together in the future. I told him I would think about it.A few weeks later the car having not been fixed correctly, and continually experiencing the same no start problem that S&S attempted to fix left me stranded. I had the car towed to S&S on Sunday night. On Monday morning, I got a call from Tim who said “you don’t have an appointment and after our previous interaction we decline to work on your car. Please have it removed by the end of the day.” This business had the chance to salvage a relationship and prove to me that they aren’t incompetent and dysfunctional. However, they chose to burn the relationship and be petty. I dislike this shop. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am leaving them this review of Yelp and on Google and I will make it a point to let everyone classic car collector I know to avoid this place.

So glad I found these guys! I had been trying to find someone to restore my 69 Chevy C10 for over a year. Most shops would meet with me and give me approximate pricing, but then push me off month after month. I wanted to pay someone and it seemed everyone was not interested or too busy with other things. I met with Steve and his team and they were upfront with me and told me they could do as little or as much I wanted to my truck - no pressure at all. The results were better than I ever imagined! The paint job Joe did on my truck was like glass. With these guys, its all about the small details and they dont miss one! One year later and I am still like a little kid with a new Christmas present every time I drive my truck. Thanks Guys for everything!

S&S Motorsports is an unbelievable shop! Peter and his crew are very knowledgeable and trust worthy. I brought my 2002 Trans AM in for a camshaft,head work and a stall converter. They were very professional and easy to communicate with. I would recommend them for all your needs. They are not like other shops that cant do mechanics or tune themselves out of a wet paper bag. Thank you again Peter and your crew.

Lack of communication lack of authorization and overpriced

Fast and reliable service at a grate price. Ive been over there twice to have some welding done and to grab a fitting and the staff was very helpful, and the welds were very clean. They even gave my transmission a wash while it was there. All said and done i was very impressed with the work and will be back soon when the machine shops up and running!

So where do I start I work for RTR Motorsports Vaughn Gittin Jr Motorsports we were down at the Freedom Factory for the burnout rivals event. We had the wrong order shipped in and We needed fuel, S&S helped us with that on Thursday. While standing there talking to the owner Peter Conry told me heres my card my cell phones on it if you guys need anything night or day give me a call I dont care if its midnight Ill open the doors for you. So Ive had this people say that to me before and then they dont pick up the phone when you need them. Not the case here Peter picked up the phone on Sunday, was out on his jet ski we had a bit of a catastrophe with fuel lines and brake lines. I called him he answered while out on his jet ski and then sent his manager to the shop to open up and Supply us with everything we needed to continue what we came down here to do. If that isnt Superior customer service I dont know what the hell it is. Thanks to him and his employees we were able to accomplish what we needed to do its a long trip down from North Carolina and if you dont get to finish what you came for, that really sucks so hats off to S&S Motorsports for that Superior customer service in just plain doing what they say they will do that amazes me these days...

I brought a set of vintage 911 wheels/caps to S&S for a repaint/refinish. They were cosmetically in rough shape and since I was prepping the car for sale, I thought it best to have them cleaned up. S&S blew me away with the work they did. The wheels looked as good as new, maybe even better than new. Their painter is clearly a pro, as well as a perfectionist. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable and their customer service rep kept me informed of the progress on the job. They even managed to finish the wheels sooner then promised. Two thumbs up for S&S 👍👍
