We put down 10 thousand dollars for a lift. Our monthly payment was over $1000 for 24 months. We have made 17 of the 24 payments. Today is 12/2/2020. Our last payment was on 10/6/2020. We were a month late almost two, due to covid and the holidays (yes our fault) but what we were NOT expecting was for them to come repo it without a call about the severity or a piece of mail. They left a voicemail saying to “call us back” we were going to go make the payment next week. We call the store and say hey what happened yada yada and the woman explained to us what happened. She actually was very nice and understanding. Moving on we go to give them the remaining 12,800 in CASH and they said NO because we needed to pay late fees, a different remaining total than our paper says and $500 for a towing bill from Palmer road and cattleman rd in sarasota to their building which by the way is HAHAHA for a tiny lift I can pull with a gas vehicle. So not only were we about to pay the rest of the lift off, we had already put down 10k and made 17 payments at over 1000 a month. Do the math if you wish. Long story short, the guy we dealt with today was rude. Now we have to go rent a lift for our business because we unexpectedly lost ours. I’m not saying it’s not our fault for being a little late but maybe if they would have stressed the severity of it we would have sold some things to make due. And again we were NOT GOING TO OWE ANYTHING ELSE. it would have been PAID OFF. but they wanted to be rude about the situation instead of just taking over 12,000 today and let us go on about our business NOT OWING ANYTHING as my husband desperately pleaded to let him just pay it because it’s crucial with the holidays and everything we just need our lift back. Not to mention when we wanted to talk to someone above the guy we couldn’t do so. Very disappointed with the amount of money we have given these people and how quick they can just make their money and leave you in the dust. Just beware if you’re technically ONLY ONE MONTH LATE they will come repo with no warning other than a voicemail.
