Four weeks ago today I casually strolled in to Sarasota PowerSports just to casually look around for a bike. I had been wanting one for a while so I figured why not stop in and see what they had! I was greeted by their friendly staff. They directed me to one of their salesmen Michael Morris who helped choose the bike I now own today! His passion and knowledge of everything about motorcycles is excitement was contagious! Going here made buying a new bike so easy. The dealership has just about anything you will need and tons of options for bikes. The staff was also helpful, very friendly and on top of things. It was time to upgrade the 2012 KX85 my stepson had been riding. Very professional staff and non pushy sales team. Jason is the best sales guy I ever bought from at any dealership and Ive owned 23 cars so I hope that says a lot! They will work hard on finding not only the right bike, and they are extremely patient if you change your mind 5 times. They ask the right questions and make you feel comfortable. I just have to say for a hassle free buying experience go see Jason. He is educated and explains everything to you. As a first time buyer and not really knowing what to look for, he walked me through the whole process. Not once did I feel like he was just trying to sell me something. If you want straight forward and honest hes your guy.

Sales team: I highly recommend this team. I worked with Andreas and was very happy with his professionalism, knowledge and service.Service team: A very thorough inspection of my bike revealed a fuel leak that was thankfully under warranty. I don’t know what I would’ve done if these guys didn’t catch and fix it for me. I worked with Tanner and Jimmy. Very professional guys. They also installed engine guard for me at a reasonable price. Highly, highly recommend using their service team for any issues.

Lol... service dept just told me they dont work on anything older than 10 years old because of parts availability, after I told him it was a 2003 PW50. If the Yamaha shop doesnt know that PW50s are identical for about 40 years now, I think not taking it there was in my best interest anyway.He told me to take it to Haps Honda. Laughable.

Went in to get my tire professionally patched on my R6 after hitting a nail. The rates were very affordable and the tire was successfully repaired. Thanks Tanner and your service squad.

Very good parts department. They have great customer service!I ordered a rear brake caliper for my R6 and they had it shipped here within a few days. After deciding to sell my bike in that time period though, I called to ask to return it (before picking it up) and they refunded me the full amount immediately without any questions, even after they already shipped it to their store.

Service department is horrible. I have been here for years and know they told me twice now that I would b first in line cause I was waiting. Now they said they would get to it later afternoon. This is the third time this happened. If u say your gonna do something do it. I wont b bringing bike there no more for sure. Sales department you guys rock. Ive bought several bikes here. Sorry to say I wont b purchasing another

George Switzer - I had the same response. Called to ask if they have the diagnostic tools for a 2005 650 VStrom (Gen 1 2004 - 2011), so the generation of the bike is just ten years old. Was told they dont service it and suggested I call Precision Cycle.

Really good shop, friendly staff and lots of inventory

Just bought a new yz250f from these guys and the experience was great from start to finish. Tyler was the sales rep and was super knowledgeable about the bike. He asked questions about the type of riding I did so he could give me advice about suspension set up and tuning, and was available for follow up questions after the purchase. The entire staff there is friendly, goes out of their way to make sure that youre getting the right bike with absolutely no sales pressure.

Talked to Jason who was great at answering all my questions and walking me thru the process. Had an issue with Yamaha finance but Andrea worked his magic and got everything taken care of. Great bunch of guys who made the whole process pleasant.

Had poor experiences in the past but they got a new general manager Michael, who took GREAT care of my 4 wheeler and I. Also had a pleasant and professional encounter with one of their new service counter staff, who was very helpful, even rinsed my wheeler off before he loaded it onto the trailer for me. Overall great experience today!

I drove down to Sarasota from Orlando to purchase a bike from these guys. They were up front, fair, and honest with me. The bike I looked at online was exactly what they said it was and they honored their OTD Price with me no games, hidden dealer costs, mis quotes, or any other attempt to abuse or extort. The guys were also all top notch I’d recommend this place to friends and family for sure. I just wish they were closer because this would be my go to bike shop for any and everything.

Tanner was rude. When we questioned the workmanship they were very defensive and unprofessional. Their quality of service depends on pay, in turn, this breeds very poor work ethic. Besides that, the last time they fixed our vehicle it broke 2 days later and we had to fix it ourself after spending a substantial amount of money.

Nice place enjoyed delivering the freight we had for them. People really nice and polite.

Could not believe the injustice that Amanda Amuso did to my boy in holding the bike he wanted for $500, due to a recall, then to sell it to another customer. This is not right by any means. The dealership had to tolerate this to make the sale. We will be taking our business to another location!

I put a security deposit on a new bike that had a recall on it. Amanda Amuso, a sales rep was actually the one who suggested the security deposit assuring me that after the recall I would be informed of its fix, which she estimated to be mid-December. It is mid-December and my ZX-14r is sold to another party, unbeknownst to me. I did not receive my refund until actually calling and inquiring about why I was lied to and not refunded. I feel cheated and swindled having put down a money for something the staff of the dealership had no intentions of honoring.

Picked up a little husky 401 vitpilen last Saturday and I’m extremely happy with it! Drove 1.5 hours to look at a bike and ended up purchasing it. The bike was missing a piece and had a patch on the back tire. Sarasota PowerSports replaced the the missing piece with an OEM part and put a new back tire on the bike. Then had the bike trailered down to me so I did not have to pick it up. Everyone was very helpful.

Nice sale people. I bought a bike from them,... but the accounting department used my debit card information to make fraudulent charges. It was the first time and only time I used the card. Nobody but them had access to the card information. When I called to inform them of the situation, they were very rude.

Awesome staff and great prices! Renee did an excellent job at helping my wife and I purchase our first bikes. She stayed in constant contact with me throughout the whole process. We drove two hours south to Sarasota not just for the great price on our bikes, but for the great customer service!

Have order parts from them, and gotten light service done. Was able to walk in on a Friday and have my rear tire replaced and mounted with a new one in about 25 minutes. Great fast service. The parts department is also great. Have ordered a lot of parts from here. They come quickly and call me same day they show up. Great place.

I purchased a Ranger 900xp from Power Sports - Sarasota. I had a great experience during the sales process. It was smooth, I was treated well and I feel that the deal was fair. In addition, I found the guys in the parts department to be very helpful. I hit a rough spot when I brought the machine in for the 100hr. service. I strongly disagreed with the terms and was not thrilled with the interaction. That said, Sean the service manager, did reach out knowing I was upset and tried to offer a solution that I did not find acceptable. Several weeks later we chatted again and came to a positive resolution that salvaged the relationship. I commend him for his patience with hearing me out and working towards a positive solution.

Be warned: After my experience and hearing others, do not take your bike or business here. I have bought 7 bikes in Sarasota, starting here each time but they dont seem to care. Brought my 2012 Hayabusa in for a safety check, 4 plugs and a headlight. They kept my bike for 4 weeks, never fixed the headlight AND damaged my custom paint. Incompetent at best.

Changed two tires and they checked the wiring on a light that was not working... dropped it off at 11am they called me at 3pm same day...DONE!! amazing service and very nice, knowledgeable people...great experience..thanks....my new shop

Definitely look elsewhere. Have my bike in for repairs for the better part of 3 months now. Every single time, Ive had to call up to get a status update. Seems like anything that is wrong with the bike, they want me to replace the part or they can look to repair it for very expensive costs. Getting my bike brought else where for a better opinion.

Memphis, the technician and Bill from the Parts department were super helpful and willing to assist me. I highly recommend them.

Chad and Barry in service are very helpful. The clerk in the front named Paul is a slob with a very poor attitude. To the owner... if youre reading this then you should replace him. I just spent several thousands with your service department and am now questioning if Ill come back due to the way Paul interacted with me.
