In May of this year we received our long awaited maple kitchen table and chairs. $4,900. Unfortunately the color of the chairs was wrong and had to wait even longer to get the correct ones. At this time we chalked it up to miscommunication- luckily we had the email from what the stain should be so it was taken care of. Just 5 months later we noticed the table top was bowing. Sent a note to Dutch Crafters and they asked for pictures. These are some of those pictures. They claim this is not something (humidity) is not something covered under the warranty. However they would happily sell us another top. We feel that this is a workmanship issue - improper drying and/or sealing the wood), which specifically is covered under the warranty and asked to be directed to a manager. That was a week ago and CRICKETS. Looks like we’ve been ghosted.

We ordered our outside dinning table with firepit and was told it would be around 5 months for the order to arrive. We understood all of the reasons for the delays and they were up front about them. COVID issues, supply issues and the time it takes to build the table. It arrived 2 weeks ago and we love it. It fits perfectly on our deck and cant wait to have our friends over and entertain. Nancy Kirshe was our sales person and was great to work with.

I ordered a table from DutchCrafters.com 4/6 and received it 8/30. After waiting just under 5 months and paying close to $5000 it arrived and I wasn’t happy with it. There are 2 spots where the stain didn’t cover and stick out like a sore thumb. I reached out via customer service and spoke with Paulette and also spoke with her manager Brittney regarding options. I was told that’s normal which is BS.The options they gave me are:1: Theyll send a touch up pen and clear coat that I could use to touch up the spots but doing so voids the warranty.2: Use their no hassle return policy which requires 15% restocking fee and $250 shipping which is close to $1000 to return the table and chairs.3: Credit me $122.63 to live with itMake note it’s extremely costly to return something if you’re not satisfied, you’ll wait months for your order, they don’t stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible. I’d recommended buying locally so you can see what you’re getting ahead of time.

Top notch quality. Beautiful and comfortable chair. If you buy it for a short person you’ll need the footstool. The cushion adds a few inches to the height. Awesome. Very satisfied.

Ordered and paid in full in April 2021. Delayed 6 times and now projecting December completion, delivery in January if Im lucky. Maybe theyll arrive before the anniversary of my purchase. An absolute joke.

This company is completely disappointing. We received a delivery window in September. Then when we were nearly past the delivery date, we were told there was a “ding” that they weren’t able to pick up the furniture and it would be delivered at a later date. When I inquired about the new date we were told mid Oct. which then became mid Nov. No apologies, I had to inquire about all the date changes each time, very poorly organized and honestly who cares if it’s Amish. Worst experience ever.

Beware of this company. We ordered our dinette table 3 years ago and the finish faded substantially. In the picture the left is a leaf that came with the table that has been in our basement that has not faded. This should not be the case for such a short time frame and when the piece was not in direct sunlight. We even have low E windows! We also only use quality wood polish to clean the table. When I contacted the company they said it was out of warranty and they wanted $1000 to refinish the top.

I would recommend this store for its quality products and attentive staff, specifically Nancy Kirshe whom you should ask for by name and her schedule. She is a thorough professional who understands the needs of her customers and always has the customers best interests at the forefront of all she does. She easily navigates through the myriad of options and delivery schedules available from the Amish manufacturing shops that will result in an excellent outcome. This winter, my husband and I purchased four items from DutchCrafters: a coffee table, end table, bookcase, and media center. I had found the company during an online search for “solid wood handcrafted furniture”. We appreciate fine craftsmanship and wanted to invest in custom furniture that would really stand the test of time. In reviewing their website, I found various pieces that I thought might work for us so I contacted a DutchCrafters Furniture Specialist. The person I worked with by both phone and email was extremely helpful in all the right ways - knowledgeable about the products and process, artistic, pleasant, and patient! She was able to help me decide on the exact type of wood that would best match my aesthetic needs. She sent me links to additional pieces I had initially missed in my search, and she mailed me an array of wood stain samples from which to choose. When it came time to pay for the pieces, she managed the whole process for me herself and got the order started immediately. A few months later, as we got close to our shipping date, another person became my main contact with the company. She was also easy to work with, prompt in returning my calls, and in putting me in direct contact with the delivery team. The whole process, from design to delivery, was smooth and supportive. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants high quality, well-made, beautiful, custom wood furniture.

UPDATE: AUGUST 2020 - Our table arrived, early, delivered by two lovely young men who drove it in from Ohio. Their delivery was perfect, they not only delivered but unpacked and assembled. Polite, helpful and stayed socially distant! As for the table, we are simply thrilled. We have a dining room full of old Stickley furniture and decided to downsize our dining table. Our new table fits in perfectly. We are thrilled beyond measure and very glad we took this step to updating the dining set! APRIL 2020 - Its always a little scaring going custom, so many questions, considerations, etc. Ryan at DutchCrafters was excellent in allaying my fears and helping me through the process, AND we are very much looking forward to receipt of our mission table!

Loved how well this matches the other furniture in the room. Well constructed - tight - despite the moving parts. The slides are strong enough to handle the weight of heavily outfitted rifles.Nice piece of furniture, yet firearms are safely locked away. We purchased the glass front cabinets. and put Harry Potter models in it. Obviously not a place to suspect as weapon storage!

This place brings Ritz-Carlton customer service to a whole nother level. You cannot find better customer service that with these people. Elvis was awesome to work with and SOOOO helpful! I m an Author and was very much in need of a real wooden writing desk. I ordered The Breckenridge Model Writing Desk. I ordered online via website and the process was so easy. They kept me informed from start to finish and on through delivery. It took about 10 weeks in total.When I got the desk, I was awe stricken by the beautiful craftsmanship the first time I saw my desk. I bought a whole bedroom-ful of furniture: bed, nightstand, chest, hamper, chair, and jewelry armoire. With so much to choose from and so many decisions on stains and hardware, etc., it was incredibly valuable to work with Shannon. She was very knowledgeable about their products, helpful, patient - and listened. Sometimes she was even picking up on what I was wanting before I had become conscious of it. I searched for a while in stores and online for the perfect porch swing before finally finding Dutch Crafters website, and getting in touch with sales rep, Matt Hall. After finding what I wanted and choosing colors, Matt walked me through the ordering process and stayed in contact via email and phone to ensure my order was correct, that it would work with my space, and that assembly and shipping times were clear. The swing arrived sooner than expected and once hung, is even better than I imagined. Great experience and a very high-quality product!

My husband and I just ordered a dining table, chairs and a hutch from DutchCrafters. We had used the website which was very easy. The tutorial video was extremely helpful. We went to the store to finalize our choices and found the salesman very helpful. I would highly recommend going to the store and looking at the wood stain selections and fabrics because they are very different from the website. Our salesman was very patient while I tried to narrow down my choices. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I purchased an Amish Cedar Hope Chest, which I wanted for a long time. From when I ordered to the time of delivery, Dutch Crafters has been a professional business with friendly employees. I am so pleased with my Amish Cedar Hope Chest. The workmanship and care making this Chest for me is so beautiful. I just love it and will cherish it forever!

This was my first experience with DutchCrafters and I could not be more pleased with the service and the furniture. Ashley in C/S was very helpful and communicated with me each step of the way. The price was not cheap but this furniture is worth every penny. I chose hardwood maple and it looks beautiful. The craftsmanship is the finest right down to every little detail including the hardware. The stain and finish really show off the grain of the maple and the drawers roll out very smoothly. All of the outsides of the desk are finished so that if this was not against the wall, anyone sitting in front of it can admire the woodwork on the back and sides. It is obvious that the people who made this take pride in their work. I would definitely by my next piece of furniture from DutchCrafters.

Terrible customer service. I regret placing an order with this company. They never called when my order was ready. Good thing I checked. I told them to ship in June since I would be traveling. They said they would hold until June. So of course they shipped. I was fortunate that I could postpone my trip for 3 days in order to receive the order. Do they ever listen or care what customers want??? This is my last order. They of course send emails about nothing all the time. Good to all who used this company...

It took some time for the 8 pieces to be delivered, but it was worth the wait. Absolutely beautiful! Every piece is shows superb craftsmanship. I am so pleased with these pieces, I would recommend them to anyone who wants beautiful, top quality furniture in their home.

I ordered the Amish Stanton Single Pedestal Dining Table (48 with 2 removable leaves in the end of April. I received the table right after Memorial Day with a Sunday delivery! Talk about service! The table is constructed of quarter sawn natural white oak and it is better than I thought it would be. Sooooo beautiful - you will not get anything like this in a big box store.

We purchased furniture through DutchCrafters many years ago and were so pleased with the service and quality of the furniture, when it was time to buy a bed and nightstands, we went back to them. Selection, price and customer service were again top notch. Our sales representative, Matt, was great. He was very responsive. I highly recommend DutchCrafters. (They deliver furniture wrapped in blankets -- no packing material to dispose.)

I had a great experience with Dutchcrafters, my sales rep Stacey was fantastic. She answered all of my extensive questions and was very accommodating. With a large purchase, it is always nice to be provided a white glove experience from start to finish, and I am sure that this is how everybody is treated. My delivery driver Simon called a few days prior to delivery, which was exactly as scheduled, and I was of course happy to suggest some short cuts to make his job a little easier. He helped me get the furniture inside and set up. Nice furniture is a big purchase for many people and DutchCrafters made this an awesome process, Lots of decisions to be made for sure, this was great! Cant wait to do it again :)

He worked with me by phone, on-line and by sending samples of wood stains and fabrics. He was great to work with, and made it simple. The furniture arrived sooner than expected and its perfect! Our organization recently placed an order for well over $20,000 for three u-shaped desks/hutches. During set-up/delivery, the glass top to one of the desks was broken by the shipper. We continue to be inconvenienced as were now on our third week waiting for the replacement glass. Each time we reach out to determine a delivery date we get non-answers - with the shipper and manufacturer each giving us the runaround. They even failed to replace the glass when the third desk was delivered to our address last week (perfect opportunity to make this right). Beautiful desks, but DutchCrafters has provided extremely poor customer service in handling their error.

I was looking for a special Armoire and I was not near a showroom but Ashley found just what I needed while I was on the phone with her. She even took pictures and sent them to me right to my phone. The amazing customer service was just what I needed to get this piece delivered in time. The shipping department went above and beyond to make it happen. I am reviewing my experience with Dutch Crafters of Sarasota FL. If you are interested in buying furniture from this business PLEASE think twice.I had been looking for months for a large cabinet to go under our wall mounted tv. It not only had to be large enough to hold the tv components but also our existing stereo equipment. It had to be at least 18 deep. Then, one day I found the Dutch Crafters ad on Google. The Specifications said the cabinet was 18 1/4 deep and you could choose the length and height. Ours is 72x 36. However, when we finally got the cabinet (3 months later!) the height and length were correct, but the depth of the shelves is only 15 and only 12 in the drawers.I immediately contacted Dutch Crafters customer service. It took awhile for someone to get back to me. Brook, the customer service specialist, told me she was sorry for the delay but that they have a very large customer service department and receive many emails daily! I should have realized then that they werent going to own up to false advertising!!! After exchanging several emails I was eventually told that all their measurements are overall measurements and that I should have known. She said if I wanted the depth of the shelves I should have asked specially for shelf measurements. She said I should have known that the 18 1/4 depth was only the top board!!! She indicated that they were not going to correct our mistakes!!!So, be very careful what you order, if you are brave enough! They will manipulate all the numbers and you too will be out $2400.00!!!!

I recently purchased a bed with DutchCrafters. The quality and workmanship were beyond my expectations. The custom bed was completed ahead of scheduled time and store service was excellent. The stain choices were great and the finished product was perfect and true to the sample stains. The delivery service was flawless. The pieces were wrapped in furniture blankets and the delivery was within the window of time given. The delivery staff were professional. I highly recommend buying Amish furniture through this vendor. I love the bed and it is exactly like the photo shown on their website.

I had waited for over a year to pull the trigger on a storage bed unit from DutchCrafters and when I finally did Natalie made it a most pleasant experience. From start to finish she was very patient with me. When I received the product the two delivery men were fantastic. It was no easy feat bringing the platform bed into our house but they managed to pull it off. I was impressed with how well made everything is and am so delighted to finally have it. FIVE STARS FOR THE CRAFTSMEN WHO BUILT MY MISSION-STYLE BED!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The quality of the bed I purchased is quite impressive. Its solidly built, attractively designed and the finish is beautiful. This bed will be with me for many years to come. I would have liked the bed frame to be a bit smaller, however. Its 55 inches high and I would have preferred something considerably lower in height. Its quite big for my old 1955 split level home where the rooms are not as large as a lot of newly constructed homes seem to be. The delivery was very good too. However, communication was often times slow and reaching a rep by phone was difficult and actually delayed my original purchase. I wanted the option to pick up the phone while on my lunch hour and easily speak to a rep. I spoke often to a voice mail rather than an actual person. When I finally did communicate, the rep was courteous and helpful. When there was a minor discrepancy with the finished product, a rep communicated quickly, clearly and easily to resolve the issue. But originally the communication was a bit of an obstacle and I almost reconsidered my decision to make a purchase. In the end . . . Its a great product!

I usually drive to Lancaster, PA to buy these home made products but I was so pleasantly surprised for the two orders I received from DutchCrafters. I received a new bird feeder and mailbox made of the new composite materials. I was able to select the colors that match my house. The hand-made quality is fantastic. Even when I received one item that may have bumped around during shipping, they were so kind to ask if I wanted a new one shipped. First, the customer service was first rate. They were polite and answered all of my questions promptly. Product arrived earlier than promised. It was in excellent condition and is built rock solid. I am very impressed - built like they used to build things. This will last a long time and no doubt will look great as it ages.

We had a stunning platform bed with drawers made by DutchCrafters. The oak bed with burnt umber varnish came out beautifully and solidly, matching the rest of our bedroom furniture well. The customer service rep (Shannon Jennier) who worked with us really went above and beyond, helping us with everything from stain samples to expediting the delivery because we were due to have a baby.

Natalie was patient and answered my questions so that I could be sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Some things in life should not be cheap and instantly delivered. What is worthy takes resources and time. I am glad for places like DutchCrafters and I will consult with and buy from them again.

I had never ordered furniture online before but after talking with Jennifer I became convinced that DutchCrafters had a quality product and would stand behind it. I wanted to purchase four mission style end tables for my living room (one was a stacking unit) and I wanted the stain to match my dining room table. Jennifer worked with me to find the perfect match. When my end tables arrived they were absolutely beautiful and the stain match couldnt have been better. This furniture is so well built and finished. However, one table had slight damage on the leg. I contacted DutchCrafters and they cheerfully arranged to have the table picked up and replaced. I enjoy fine furniture and my new kitchen island from DutchCrafters hits the mark. The the design is beautiful and the fit and finish are flawless. It took a while to arrive but it is worth it. Be patient. :-)

My daughter (and her family) and I live in two houses on the same lot with a lovely backyard between us. Weve had to work hard over the past few years to get us all in the same state, and find a property that would meet all of our needs, but we did it! We wanted a picnic table for family dinners in our shared backyard. We wanted it big, we wanted it solid, we wanted it...special. And the octagonal cedar picnic table we got exceeded our expectations. It is so well designed and constructed. I cannot praise the product and the company more highly.

We purchased a tall, large, seven-drawer dresser and a custom king-size bed with shelves at the headboard and 6 drawers underneath. They seemed rather expensive when we ordered them, but when we got them, we were ASTOUNDED at the quality! They are worth every penny, and more. Everything was better than we had imagined it could be. The solid, real-hardwood construction, the joinery, the hinges and sliders, the beautiful staining and finishing - this is truly lifetime heritage furniture.The only complaint I had - and this is why I only gave them four stars - is the delivery time. I had somehow gotten the idea that they would come in two and a half months. It actually took about five months (Probably due to the customizing I had ordered on the bed). Meaning we were sleeping on the floor with our clothes in cardboard boxes for a few months. I might have gotten upset, but when the two pieces were delivered (driven all the way from back East to the Seattle area by a professional mover who does nothing but DutchCrafter deliveries) I was so pleased with the quality that all the upset in me got washed away.

A great company to do business with... beautiful, high quality furniture made to order and at a fair price. The customer service representatives are great to work with, too.

I was very impressed by how hard Dutch Crafters worked to resolve my issues.As a business owner for over 30 years I find that the true test of a company is what they do when things dont go wrongI absolutely would do business with this company again.Brittany thanks so much for your genuine concern!I recently spent over $12,000 on a custom made bedroom suite. I knew going in that I was looking at a 4 month delivery, no problem there.When my bedroom suite finally arrived it was clear from the start that it had never been preassembled. Initially it was clear that the mirror that was supposed to be in my master headboard was 1 full inch too tall and would not fit not no matter what was done. Upon assembly mounting holes that should have been predrilled were completely missing.Mounting bolts supplied were too shallow and the bolts were too long causing issues in assembly. The extra long bolts didnt reveal themselves until I had to disassemble the bed the day after the delivery.After only one night sleeping in the bed it creaked and squeaked so bad that if either of us rolled over it woke the other up.During delivery the crew that delivered ran the bolts in so far that one was completely stripped and required the head to be drilled off and the other bottomed out and when removed pulled the threads out of the head board.As you have seen in previous reviews the wood work is second to none but the devil lies in the details. My headboard has a light bar in the top cross bar. As installed the only way to turn the lights off and on would be completely impossible to access after installation.I would not buy from this company again.After our first night using our new bed I was up at 9 am pulling it back apart in an attempt to find out why it creaked and squeaked so bad that ever time one of us rolled over it woke the other.

Beautiful Amish furniture.

Great furniture. A couple weeks ago I bought a bamboo coffee table that could honestly hold up my entire family without making a creak. It doesnt get much more solid than that construction. Thats what you get when you buy American-made furniture. They have a pretty good variety of furniture pieces in the showroom, but even if you dont find what you want in-store, the staff can help you sort through the huge selection online. And I think all of it is customizable so youll get exactly what you want, even if you have a little wait for your order to arrive. Well definitely buy from DutchCrafters again.

We recently purchased a sideboard and entertainment console from DutchCrafters. These had to match existing furniture. The stain sample process worked perfectly and, when received, matched almost exactly. We are very happy with the quality of workmanship. We definitely reccomend Dutchcrafters.

This is a showroom for an ecommerce Amish furniture store. You can see the different types of wood and fabric and they custom make your pieces. The showroom is downstairs and a clearance area is off the showroom. Upstairs are the offices where they employ about 30 people. The lady who spoke to us was very nice and very knowledgeable.

We love our new Amish made bedroom set! Everything came out even better than expected. Solid wood and just beautiful. Dutchcrafters is the best place to buy Amish Furniture. We will definitely be back to purchase more. My husband and I cant say enough good things!

I has shopped around for weeks looking for a great quality desk, that was solid hardwood and built to last a long time. I happened to send an inquiry to DutchCrafters....and was contacted by Kaili Gould. She was very professional and answered all my questions and then some. I had a few samples send my way and after a few weeks I placed an order when a sale was happening. My order was on time and exceeded my expectations. The delivery and set up was very smooth as well. If you are in the market, call Kaili. She was great. I have since placed an order for a matching book case for my desk set. Again, Kaili made it all easy.
