The young girl manning the desk at noon today was just rude when she asked me why I was there, made me want to leaveCustomer service is non-existent. You cant call and speak to someone. Maybe all those employees standing around ignoring the customers could answer the phone. I wish I had bought my computer somewhere else. And you should too.

This by far the best Best Buy customer service I’ve had. Josh was the person who not only helped me with recommendations but also explained how things work mostly for electronics and I did learned new information from him.Very smart and knowledgeable person!

DONT PAY ONLINE IF THE PRODUCT IS UNAVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE PICKUP! This goes for not just this store but all the stores.They will run your card numbers with your bank, the bank will set the money aside, hold it for the standard 5 business days, never gets finalized and then the money gets credited back to your account from the bank. Best Buy has a history of doing this. They at times will not finalize the transaction. Then they find out they didnt get paid so they start that process all over again. This back and forth can last upwards of 120 days by visa card rules. Thats not fair and professional. Fix it!

This is a good Best Buy store. Seems to always have what I need in stock. Sales staff seems knowledgeable, although you may have to hunt somebody down.

Honestly it took some time to find someone to talk to, but one i did i got way more information then i thought i needed. The guy was super knowledgeable and actually spent 15 minutes with me looking up what i needed to know. Always like Santee for most of my shopping needs

Im writing this to give kudos to Cynthia. This was my first time at this Best Buy. I usually shop at the Mission Valley one because I live close to that location. I came here because I had purchased an open box item in Mission Valley that was inoperable the moment I set it up, and the Santee store was the only location within 250 miles that had another open box of this item. I came here to see if they would be willing to do an exchange for me, even though their item was priced higher, and they accommodated my request. Cynthia was very patient and warm, and she was at the front door and helped me out at her computer station right there. Thank you for taking time with me and helping me out. I would shop here again!

Female hispanic manager stereo typed us & since we were returning something at 24 days with a receipt and our item wasnt even used and she actually told me to sell it on the street I said excuse me what do I look like that was completely rude next time if you are over the 15 days do t take a receipt or just settle for Walmart electronics at least they do 30 days

Very busy location, which is fine. I just wish when the Samsung rep is not available, there would be some kind of little sign or something to tell us.

The staff at this location genuinely care for their customers. The GM Matt is super cool and cares for his employees. Team morale appears high and Best Buys price match gurantee is top notch.

Walking into a Best Buy used to have a feeling of new technology and cool stuff. Now it feels like walking into an old Office Depot or Frys Electronics. I just wanted to buy a Gameboy type system for my sons birthday but they carry zero in store, only the accessories.

I like that there is never a crowd here. Also you cant get to the department you want without being stopped and asked if you need help. For some this is bad. I appreciate this. The associates that I have talked with have treated me with the utmost respect.

Had what I needed and was quick to help me find it and ensure it would work for my application. Usually I shop online to save a few extra dollars, but might have to start shopping here again just for the quality customer service and speedy help.

Has a pretty decent movie selection to buy from.

This is a fairly large Best Buy with a good selection and a very helpful staff. Its a little bit older so it can show its age in places, but you can get what you need very easily.

Cant get a hold of anyone in store. Horrible customer service due to how the companyis being run. The staff are all wonderful.

The staff was the best! Ive never been in a best buy were the staff is on point with help. I was in there for 2 minutes looking for a tablet for my wife and the gentleman that helped me stuck by me the entire time I was in the phone talking to my wife about different tablets. Best Best Buy ever.

Took my computer into the geek squad for a quick fix and it was quicker than I thought. It was literally 5 mins and fixed.

I’m hoping this is actually seen by Best Buy in Santee!! My husband and I went in there just for an adapter but didn’t have much luck so we decided to buy a tv! Steven in magnolia (I believe that’s the department he was in) was absolutely amazing!! No pressure to buy and extremely extremely helpful and honest! He answered every question I asked and ones he didn’t know, he made sure to let us know he wasn’t going to answer something he wasn’t sure about. I know that’s customer service but he truly went above and beyond! Steven if you see this, we didn’t get a survey to fill out so I figured this was our next option because you deserve an awesome review!

Customer Service is pretty bad here at the front with the welcome desk and checkout staff and management. One person working the floor.. He was Fantastic.

They helped me do a data transfer and kept the costs down as much as possible. They have payment options available and fast service for repairs. The whole team is great. Very positive and helpful. Staff isnt engaging. Even when there wasnt anyone in the store at 3:30 p.m., the staff was too busy either stocking shelves or having conversations with other team members rather than paying attention to customers.

Went to this Best Buy location because its in Santee where I live to get a new laptop... Wasnt fully sure on what to get seeing as how Im going to be mainly using it for Mastercam CNC machine programming... Andre was walking by and asked if we needed help and after replying that we did he was more than willing to assist us... I told him what I was needing the laptop for and he knew about CNC programming from past work experience doing so but in a different field and pointed us in the best direction but also taking into consideration price... After he pointed out some options wit out having to break the bank he then took it upon himself to check to see if he had any open box deals he could offer us that would suit the requirements I needed... He was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and was more than willing to do any / everything he could to give us the best deal possible after we found out the one we picked out was out of stock... I would fully recommend asking for Andre for any of your needs when going to the Santee location, itll be worth your while!

Best Buy had limited stock on low to mid price printers .Salesman tried to sell me a $400 printer I did not need .

Best Buy is the best place to buy computer accessories like hard drives and optical drives. The Best Buy in Santee, CA has the best service. As I started walking into the store, I was asked if I needed help to find anything. When I arrived at the isle where my product was, I had two people helping me. The one in El Cajon is 50 percent best. It is staffed differently and you may not get any help for a long time. The other person looking got help and was left alone to decide on what he needed.

Good prices on some things and not so good prices on others things my advice is shop around

Gotten rid of music! Reducing movies selection as well. Drove 35 miles because I was told by another Best Buy the had music and a good selection of movies! NOT

Steven Vlismas helped me out here and his service was above anything I’ve gotten anywhere else. He was extremely helpful and informed with my home theater questions. I’m quite a ways from doing all my research and making my decisions because I’ll be getting equipment for at least the next decade and I will 100% be coming to use him when I’m ready because he was so helpful.

This is like my family Best Buy. It actually was my first job when I first moved here. Everyone is so friendly, and I know many associates by name. Im thankful that there are other options outside of El cajon and mission valley.

We just recently moved to the area and needed a new fridge for our new place. We just came from the Lowes in the area looking for a fridge.Then we drove by Best Buy, as we walked in we were greeted by Enrique who was very friendly and said if we need any assistance let him know. We finally found the fridge we wanted and were looking for help. No one came up to us until we met Ariel!!! She was such a very helpful, energetic, awesome person. Explaining the different payment plans. She was able to sign us up for a Best Buy credit card and we got approved. If you ever need any help you should probably look up Ariel... She called me a day after I was suppose to get my fridge delivered and seen that we had rescheduled the fridge delivery. She said that if we have any issues before delivery let her know... Such a great person and so above and beyond for following up with us!!! She deserves a raise for sure!!!

Staffing and inventory were limited. Was shopping for a TV and the closest store with inventory was mission valley. So went next door to costco, got the same TV, same price but at Costco, came with. 5 year warranty at no extra cost.

Great for everything but computer components.Typically Im at the el cajon bestbuy and they have pretty decent selection, its only one isle but its always fully stocked. El cajon has slightly higher sales tax, so on expensive orders it may be better to go to santee to save $10-20. Unfortunately the santee bestbuy has very little in stock, even there peripherals (keyboards, mice, headphones, etc) are usually out if stock.

Purchased a Galaxy S20 for my wife. The sales person didnt seem very interested or knowledgeable helping us, and the data transfer from my wifes S6 did not go well making her very nervous. Next time back to the Verizon store where we normally get our phones.

The El Cajon and Mission Valley stores seem to have more and better inventory. The Santee store is generally neat and well organized. Their week point is the employess. A couple of them are great, but outside of those few the customer service is terrible, being neither friendly nor knowledgeable.

This review is regarding their Customer Service/Support. Which was none whatsoever. if interested, read on.Contacted Asus Support for warranty inspection on my Laptop and Asus referred me to Best Buy as a Certified Service Center, which makes sense since I bought my Laptop through Best Buy. I was glad that I didnt have to ship out my laptop for service and that I was able to get support locally. Contacted the number for Best Buy support and it led to me their website to make an appointment by phone. Made the appointment and the Customer Service rep took down my notes and simply shrugged me off saying that if they cant fix it, theyll replace my laptop through warranty. Fair enough. I make an appointment and I arrive only to find out they cant do anything for me. The person there, Kyle, didnt even asked me for my name, confirmation number or anything. Poor customer service, and I should know since Im a customer service representative at my work place. They could only run a PC diagnostic for a fee which didnt have anything anything to do with my issue, it was the fan the was buzzing. He couldnt offer me anything else. When I asked about the manufacturer warranty, he mentioned they can send it off to the manufacturer and gave me a loner turnaround time than the manufacturer themselves. I was better off doing it myself.When asked to speak to a manager, Ryan, he gave me a different story. They cant look up any confirmation number, even though I received a Best Buy email with one, couldnt look up any notes, and even though I explained to him what my issue was, a buzzing fan boise, he asked me what the issue was again. Clearly wasnt listening. Then he mentioned that they wouldnt send it to Asus, they would send it to a Service Center. When I asked if it was a Best Buy Service Center, he simply said it wasnt a Best Buy Service Center, nor an Asus Service Center, just a Service Center (he made quotation signs with fingers) where they send broken machines to fix. Its a big warehouse. So basically I got different information from all of the reps at Best Buy. Pretty hard to believe and sketchy. Geek Squad is more like Lazy Squad. Put some more effort guys, at least show some empathy if the issue cant be solved.

This place has NO phone answering. None China or website messages only. Go elsewhere.

Sales clerk helpful with dryer I needed, people they contract with to install did a horrible job, didnt tell me due to Mobil home it wasnt working, so they just cramped the hose over vent, scratched side of dryer and didnt communicate with us an issue. Dryer was causing water on floor, a mess. Very disappointed .I will never go there again.

The last 4 years its taken 5 days to tune up computer. Now takes 14 days. Talk to customer service and he said laughing if you need your computer come pick it up and we wont work on.

I bought a TV there in July 2020, for my daughters birthday and the TV was broken when it was open. When I took it back for an exchange, they told me they wouldnt take it back. I had purchased the geek squad protection and they told me it didnt cover anything. I left the TV in anger and filed a claim with my bank only to find out that theyre still charging me for it, 2 months later. I dont have a TV and Im out $170, with nothing to show except humiliation. This is the worst customer service Ive ever received from anywhere this is a horrible business model, and Ill never shop there again I highly discourage anyone from shopping there.

This Best Buy offers a larger inventory, and better service than the other two nearby Best Buys; both on Fletcher Parkway. This is one of the few that still maintains a Magnolia theater and a large selection of amplifiers, so home theater enthusiasts will be well serviced. It also has the largest selection of PC parts and accessories rivaled only by Frys locally.Unfortunately its still a Best Buy and ironically not always your best buy.
