This store has started selling the most outdated clothing that I’ve ever seen. Nothing modern at all. Worst of all, they open at 11. That’s right, 11am. What kind of store opens that late. I tried to buy a few shirts, but the fitting rooms were all closed. How hard is it to clean them after every person? We’ve officially witnessed the Rise and Fall of JCPenny. Please replace this store with something better, anything at this point.

Went looking for drapes for my bedroom and found great quality, color and pattern for $10 a set and I needed 4 sets!! I saved over $160!! Love a great deal!!

We received shoes as a mailed gift from a family member out of state and we had to exchange them in our local store we had never been to and the staff was very helpful in directing us to what floor we needed to grab shoes from and which floor and where to go for returns area and the person who helped us went above and beyond to do so. We had grabbed wrong shoes but we opted to pay the difference, the staff was patient and friendly and helpful!!

A great old place to shop.

Mens department was sad. Especially compared to womens. Also, I go shopping and collect about 7 shirts that I want to try on. Except, they closed all the dressing rooms. They said they would be open tomorrow. Why wasnt there a sign disclosing this before I wasted 25 minutes looking for shirts if I wasnt able to try em on? I also saw an associate confront a customer for trying on a shirt over his t-shirt. She told him he cant try on anything and that they now have to pull that garment off the floor for 48 hours due to Covid-19. WTH?! Last time Im supporting JCPennys. Theyre far from the old Pennys from the past.

The pickup department for online orders is pretty well hidden but once you know where it is it is great. Really good access to the parking lot.

Love the prices here. One of my favorite chains. Ruth, who works in housewares, helped me and my family out today. She was such a ray of sunshine that I just loved going to look for a rice cooker which is not usually high on my list of things to do. But she made it a pleasure. Good job employing such awesome people!

I was surprised to see an actual JC PENNYS store. We parked right at the door and went in, suddenly it was 1970 something with the Department Store music and the escalators. I didnt care for having to stand around for an extra 15 minuets because my pants, being sold for 20% off didnt say so at the register, However I was given a 20% off anything I buy the next time Im there.

Happy to be able to say that the customer service has improved a great deal. The staff are always super helpful, and going above and beyond. I am addicted to the clearance racks that are set up downstairs and made highly visible which is great. I can appreciate their efforts to keep this particular area very tidy. I have always had really good experiences in the photo department. My photographs always surpass any expectations I could of had. The price points are not expensive at all, which is super important to me. I have recommended them to soo many friends and family members for over 10 years.

Hit the bargain rack and bought a nice red blouse and three complete baby outfits for less than the price of dining out.

I realize that this whole COVID crisis has affected the retail business. However, youd think the retailers would go over & above to retain customers. Not the case at this store. Selection was minimal, prices were high, and there was no customer service or assistance to speak of. They had just one pay area open on each floor & the lines were very long. ( 12 in line on the 1st floor). Even with that, they never opened additional registers.

We trek to JCPenney annually for our family portrait. Organization does a great job booking, confirming, and checking in appointments. Convenient to book appointment online. Photography staff usually decent and talented, and we always find the one picture we need for our family portrait. Prices are good if you save the plethora of coupons that are mailed.

Items not priced & without signage. There were no clearks on the 3rd floor, the 2nd floor was supposed to have one but could not be found. I did find a stock clerk with a pricing gun & ask her to check the price. Was told rudely that I was supposed to take it to a register but she would do it this one time. That was on the 2nd floor where the clerk couldnt be found. This is not the first time that I have found a lack of service there. Will not return.

Wanted to buy some rings. In the case they were $39 so then the sales lady told me I had to have jcpenney credit card to get that price otherwise it was $57. I walked away very sad. Does cash not mean anything! I had rewards card but it didnt reward me on that!

Worst return policy!!!! The music is so loud in returns you can’t hear the employees. Worst migrate in years! The store manager is more Elusive than a snow cat. Clothes prices are often incorrectly marked. I won’t be RETURNING to this store!

Amazingly still had some Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve...saving me from a shipping nightmare with another company! Christmas jammies were 30% off instead of 50% off though.

JcPenney has always been my favorite store, right now l found that they have a lot on sale l extremely recomend you shop there.

Got two pairs of glasses my optometry visit and everything else and the courtesy call when my glasses were ready to be picked up.

The staff at Sephora are terrible, don’t care about their customers and are very rude. Manager is also very rude. Definitely a bad experience here and wouldn’t suggest giving them your business.

We went into return some merchandise and was very fast with no problem.

The clearance aisle looks like the tornado went through it Good luck if youre going to actually browse through the clearance clothing youre going to be there for a long time cuz nothing is in order. nothing is the same. shirts and pants organization went out the window. Its just all mishmashed together. There will be a ton of clothes on the floor as well. whenever its closing time they only have one register open down on the first floor one person working the register so it takes a while to get out of there closing time. Bathrooms are always nice and clean though

I was very surprised at what I found at Penneys. I normally go to Macys downtown to buy my work clothes but their womens department has shrunk so small Macys hardly had anything to offer. On the flip side, I went to Penneys and they had a huge Department with a lot of options. I will definitely be back.

I expected it to be busier due to it being Christmas shopping season. Nope, it was pretty much like any other day. No crowds, quick and easy. Makes me worry about brick and mortar stores and their long term survival.

Jc penny has some lame fees however, if you shop grpupon, its amazing. I only had one experience with them but the individual who was working for the day was the best. I would go again just because of him.

JCP has lots of clearance which I love but the racks need to be sized in all departments. Its very time consuming just trying to find your size. Customers would buy more!

Was looking for some New dress shoes and belt in the mens department, had no problems finding what I was looking for. Products were market well. Staff were polite when I asked some questions and were helpful.

I love their clothes, and its my moms go to place to shop. Prices arent too bad. The parking lot can be a terror sometimes.

The store and employees are nice. But had a bait and switch experience in January with Rachel from the salon, she should know better and treat customers with honesty and respect.

No one at the register, my elderly mom went to the jewelry counter and asked if the 2 girls thier could ring her up. They said they couldnt. So she asked where can she go...they looked at each other then looked around . I stepped in and asked why they couldnt? Something about being a different department. I asked them to call some assistance...they wouldnt...weird customer service... This was on 12/2 around 4pm...just lazy..

Cashiers only, so no on floor help. Very few choices in long summer pants or sizes. AC at minimum making trying on clothes a sweaty experience. Whole experience made me think JC Pennys is getting ready to close.

Good prices, especially when you watch for coupons and sales. Got some cute, comfortable sandals at a great price. Store needs better organization

The parking lots at Coddington were jammed with folks eager to spend, but I did get in and the store was buzzing with great stuff at great prices. I found a pixie in the bedding department who also showed me her fave towels. The lines at the service desks were daunting... I did not wait, but will go back Sunday morning to complete my business. I did notice big discounts on jewelry, especially diamonds! Also designer leather bags under $25. Worth a visit!

So we dont have a JC on the isles so shopping here is always a go to for back to school clothes. 3 stories and signs everywhere for directions. The layout is nice and the workers are few.

I went 4 Nike sneakers no staff shoe area looked like a hurricane hit on top of it waited in line 4 20 minutes to buy my shoes but were open on positive note!! Hahaa!

Perhaps this is yet another reason people are trading In-Store Buying for OnLine Shopping. Hopefully, some brick and mortar management team will figure out how to survive in this new age.

Good sales great location need more cashiers

Most of the womens plus section caters to an older crowd though the do have some nice active wear and a few (literally) items geared toward the younger crowd. Great shoe selection but the clearance area was so messy I couldnt find a place to even try shoes on. The Red Zone Clearance for clothing had some great deals, I found quite a few comfy summer tshirts for less than $5, but the racks are a MESS! Hangers going both ways, random sizes mixed in with each other, no organization whatsoever, you can find some great stuff in there but you better be prepared to spend a few hours digging.
