I ordered two of their wine pump carts and paid $67 for shipping to my location. When they arrived, they were not what I had ordered. Their site clearly shows a stainless color with black hardware. What they sent was awful. It was painted white with cheap wheels and an ugly green handle.I had contacted Jane on several occasions trying to get them to send a return label and take them back. Her response was that I could pay to send them back and they would refund my original purchase price. So I would need to pay $67 to ship back, out of my pocket, in order to get my money back when they shipped me something I did not order.This is a classic bait and switch. Be aware when you order that you may not get what you ordered from them.I have attached pictures showing the white cart they send, the other pic is what is on their website and is what I ordered.

Hands down one of the best shops not only local but State wide. Very fitting for Sonoma county. I moved from San Diego where I was an avid beer brewer. San Diego has numerous homebrewing supply shops including a recent national Zymurgy winner, The Homebrewer in North Park, and Ballast Points Homebrew Mart in Linda Vista. Both top notch so my bar is high. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem here in my new town! Not only they provide all the beer making supply but when in Rome, make wine and cheese too! I was taken aback by all the cool crafts they cover. They were the perfect solution to host a teambuilding event for my team by means of a cheesemaking class, people are still remembering that as one of the coolest events we did, and at a competitive price too. Additionally, they have continued to supply me with harvesting gear, wine yeasts, bottles, barrels, etc. for my new passion (winemaking). I continue to brew beer but thanks to the super team at TBP I have expanded my horizons and maybe will dabble into olive oil making who knows? Please support your local shops that earn their business like these guys. Cheers!

Super awesome place to get supplies in the area. Real helpful staff and carry pretty much anything you need (at least for a small time homebrewer). Definitely recommend this place.

My order was filled accurately within the timeline they note on their website, and they even paid attention to my request in the notes. Grains and hops smelled super fresh, and I have 2 batches of beer happily fermenting now. I look forward to shopping here more in the future for my brewing needs and as I dip my toes into winemaking & cheesemaking.

Great local store with a great selection but some of the staff could be a little friendlier.

Joe was amazingly knowledgeable and helpful! He personally walked us around the store to grab all of our items, answered all of our questions and gave us two new recipes for gluten free beer! Love this local gem, keep on brewing, beverage people.

Best brew shop in the Bay Area! The new management team is doing a great job! The whole staff is amazing; Clare gave great advice on growing hops and Alec had great brewing tips. The rhizomes I bought here were the thickest Ive ever gotten with 100% coming to life with intense vigor. Ive also had great success making cheese with supplies they sold me! Five stars and three cheers for Beverage People!

This shop is the best! They have all of the items needed to successful brew anything and even to make cheeses and other fermented items. The level of knowledge by the employees is extremely high and you never leave here with questions unanswered. I have had positive experiences with all staff members. They even do free education events. Its an amazing resource and Sonoma Countys best brewing/making resource!

Bev Peeps has been a favorite store of mine for years. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. I gave my son a cheese making class as a gift and we both had a blast making cheese together in the class and at home. They thoughtfully sent a congratulatory card when I won an award for my wine at the Sonoma County Fair. Go there and get started on a great new hobby!

Super nice, helpful staff. This complete newbie had no problems finding what she wanted thanks to them. They gave tips, and the store itself is clean, well stocked, very shoppable and reasonably priced. Bonus is the play area that kept my 3 little ones busy while I looked. They were raving about it when we left.

I started home brewing over 40 years ago, just like every other beginner and finally going to all grain, building, welding quipment of my own design and creating my own beers. The people at The Beverage People have been there with me through every step, offering support and encouragement and even sampling an occasional product. They are the best.

Everything a home cider maker needs. More importantly, the staff is very well informed. Ive even gotten advice on complex fermentation chemistry problems from their staff chemist.

They got alot of stuff and good selection of materials... grains can be improved... the thing i dont like about this place is the people are not friendly at all... you have the basic hi and that is it... im new to brewing and from the get go said i have no idea what im doing and asked questions and felt as if the answers were like your stupid.... oh well, spent the last 100 there today and never again will go unless desporate.... sorry guys i gave you a few trys...... if your looking for a friendly, less material stocked place but with way more ingrediants go to windsor..... happy brewing
