Just had a great experience at Western marine I may have spent a little bit more but the service was so worth it.

I work across the parking lot and stop in sometimes to browse kayak/fishing stuff. The guys in there are always great to me and actually know what they are talking about and are in to the same stuff! Always awesome help and appreciate the knowledge and inventory 👍

My review was marked as not helpful on Yelp due to low activity but I wanted to share my experience so here it is:I had a great time here! Ive just recently started fishing and the folks working here were a lot of help. They helped me figure out what rig I needed to fish the lake I was headed to and helped me set it up, along with teaching me a knot to help me out! They were very knowledgeable and helpful. If you need any help with fishing, definitely give them a shot!

Purchased an old 76 Tahiti with a Chysler 105 2 stroke and needed a tune up! I stopped by western marine and Shawn was a huge help, recommended a few parts that I had thought of. Great customer service and knowledge!!! Thank you, I highly recommend this store if you live in the area.

I had a horrible experience at the Santa Rosa store today. I called to inquire about product info and was hung up on by employee named Mike twice. I called the Sausalito store and they were amazing and confirmed stock at Santa Rosa so I confirmed the closing time of 6pm and drove 1.5 hrs to get there. The doors were locked at 5:30 and then employee Mike told me they were closed and blamed his management. He seemed to be slurring and I suspect he may have been drinking as he had an odd demeanor. When I asked what time they would open he actually said Im not telling you. Are you kidding me! How unprofessional! Never again!

The salesman saved me some money by pointing out that Id had the wrong quantity of hardener for the epoxy resin I wanted. Ill be back.
