Great customer service skills and good food selection.The store is a little small but its cool.The one thing I suggest is having someone out two - clean the parking lot.At times it kinda reminds me of a scene from The Walking Dead.Maybe they can get it pressure washed and have one of those vehicles come through that washes the parking lots

If you want to take a trip back in time. This is the Vons for you. I felt as if I was transported to the 60 -70s. Very nice employees and store kept well stocked. It would be cool if they had a remodel but kept it the same if that makes sense. ✌

Good fruits vegetables very good prices now. Some times good prices on meat, friendly and good service. 👍

It is smaller than Albertsons, but I live here and there are good sales, so I can save money! The clerks too are great, especially that guy Calvin. He is a good man!

Workers are attentive to Customer Service which is a plus. Merchandise is correctly posted. Just4U advertising is alright, had a little issue but got resolved promptly.

Vons has always been a well stocked grocery store. If you are a Vons Club member and/or shop the specials, you can afford to shop here.

Great store if your not looking to go all the way into town

The products are overpriced, and under quality. Quite a few of the products were damaged. The store was dirty, and the staff was not very friendly at all, and only seemed concerned with getting back to checking their cell phones.The customer service manager seemed to want to do anything but customer service.

Nice trip, but sad....they had no 15lb bag of potatoes, or large bag of carrots. We use the food at the ranch to take care of all of our animals, and right now with covid 19 still nipping at our heals, rancho de Los animales for the disabled is struggling with much difficulty, and new owners are struggling as well with all the rules that come with covid19.If you could help us by volunteering some of your time, and see what we do at the ranch, and how many lives have been changed through our equine riding program.S0 sadly enough Beth has had to thin her herd. It was a sad day on March 19th.when we had to close our doors due to possibilities of contracting covid 19.My husbands timing was perfect when it came time for any vet work needing to be done ✔ with our dog Miso, whos 11 years old.We appreciate anyone who is willing to come help, and meet our animals.Thank you for your time, and I hope you can give us some of your time in the future.Thank you, Brydee A Garner

They make good deli sandwiches

Very poor layout, and very understaffed. If you are looking to get something real quick, this isnt the place. For whatever reason, they only have 2 registers open, lines get really long but they dont open another line. Store is to small for what they have. Isles are real narrow, simply to crowded. On the upside, good selection and the deli is fairly good.

This review is for the deli. Horrible! Horrible! Ordered the Turkey Pesto Avocado sandwich from the menu and was told they did not have the focaccia bread as listed so I said ok, the sandwich bread would be fine. I then see the girl run off and come back with avocado spread and did not bother letting me know they were out of avocados. I canceled my order immediately and will never go back. Dont appreciate the sneakiness.

Vons is expensive but nice

The store is fully stocked. There are arrows on the isle floors to indicate direction but most people paid no attention to them. The checkout process is a little confusing but it didnt take long to get to a cashier. The cashiers are super friendly!

Convenient, friendly people and the store is NOT over sized.

It is ok for a few quick items, or for a missing ingredient. Otherwise, it is very overpriced, especially their meat. Havent ever done my true grocery shopping there, as a result.

I love Vons,. Their such a wonderful store. Especilly with their.salesTheir pork spareribs. They normally costfrom around$15., to$22.. Then we put our discount card. End up paying anywhere from $4. to $6 dollars. What a sale.

Got nothing but love for our little local Vons. Its got its faults, but dont we all.

This ligation has been a grocery store a long as I can remember. It is convenient, but not the lowest prices. The aisles are very narrow. Its difficult to negotiate the aisles when there is more than one shopping cart.On the positive side, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Vons always has everything Im looking for. Everyone is always so helpful, so that helps make my trip to the store pretty quick. Thank you Vons !

Its a great place to go for basic needs. Parking can be a bit difficult, but its usually fine. The staff is friendly and quick.

Nostalgic - but fine. The Express lane was slow, but overall satisfied with the store. Yes I’d go there again but we live in AZ. Just passing through since my father in law worked in this town in the 60s to bring electricity to the area.

Awesome deli! Whole Store Super clean and neat!

The wait was excessive to check out, and in my opinion it was way over crowded in the area, even though there were three lines open. one cashier was having difficulties and told the rest of the customers in line that it would be a while before she could help them, so the people disbursed into the two lanes that were open, which were right by eachother i ended up leaving my boyfriend in store to wait in line.

Love this grocery store. Everything is were I expect it to be. They are always stocked. Their checkout and baggers are all very nice and helpful. This is my local grocery store. Its so inviting knowing employees by name. Its refreshing too see...Great store!

Good, close option for grabbing something you need at home. Smaller store, so not as much variety in products as other grocery stores.

Bread seems a bit old and old sale tags are not removed from the shelves so you get a surprise at the register

This store is great. I was wary at first because of the basic (I think thats the kindest word) decor, until I realised that this is a design choice. The fresh vegetable produce is stunning (or maybe thats just because California) but for me that alone makes the store completely worthwhile. Seems a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Finally the reviews about the cheerful employees are all true!

The lack of disabled access in certain areas of the store takes points away from this location.In general, Im a big fan of Vons.This location has some terrific locally made items, Ive tried some salsas and been very happy with them.

I Love shopping at vons. even with the long lines the courtesy and good spirits of the workers makes you forget all about it when you speak with them. they are always willing to go out of their way to satisfy all of their customers.

It seems every time I go into vons I have to search through expired items to find fresh product. I just brought home 8 day old yogurt on accident yet again.I wonder how often they get health inspections, maybe they are due for one.

Its a different Vons, cause I Iive in Lompoc, and I just happened to be in Santa Maria. So l checked it out to grab a quick breakfast/lunch while I walk kind of stuff, and . . .

If you get Calvin the cashier then youre visit to this store WILL make EVERY LAST minute of your day wonderful as hes a heartwarming, charismatic and genuinely kind, sweet individual. However, they dont stock a lot of common items like their competitors and Im continuously going to a SECOND grocery mart in order to achieve purchasing what Id set out to. It if ANYTHING, go meet Calvin the Cashier!

Im glad to see Vons has those signature 🍎 fruit pies, Two for $1.00 dollar so I made off with four flavors Apple, Blackberry, Cherry and some other !!!!

I was able to find everything I was looking for. Customers provided input when I seemed lost which helped me find things easier. All in all it was what I expect from a visit to Vons helpful employees and reasonable prices.

Store setup dates and tech worn, but people good. Was out of main item I came for.and no way to ask about it due to minimal staffing in the back. Time was mid afternoon.

Vons is a clean geocery store with good quality meats. The cashiers are frendly and personable and you never have ro wait more then 10 minuetes in line.

Very convenient on Main street, they have a nice florist department with beautiful bouquets.

Great cashiers

Needs to be upgraded, smells inside too. It is the only one to chose from so they have no competition with another Vons. Plenty of other brand food stores around though. Like the Vons prices and sales with their food club.

I like their meat department at Vons, quality meat. I get all my lunch deli lunch meat. The ladies in this department are always nice and helpful.
