I really liked how the woman treated us and the ice cream was really good. I live on south LA and it got me to go again in the future, so I really recommend it here, it is delicious and nice.

Another great place to stop by if you have the chance. Ice Cream is very delicious with a variety of flavors. Truly an amazing experience. There is even a train that is neat the roof and does a constant cycle. Staff were also great.

Was not impressed. Girl needed attitude adjustment, very rude but that also may be due to her being only one serving with line of people while others were in back doing whatever. You could hear laughing and talking. Ice cream was HUGE disappointment. It was grainy. I felt like I was eating sand without flavor. I couldnt eat mine, tried sisters but still unimpressed on flavor. Very boring

The ice cream is yummy and the employees are patient with my husband who is Deaf and it can take time to get his order straight sometimes. Also they take distancing seriously and even close the store for 30 mins to clean and disinfect the store. Definitely will stop for ice cream again.

What an amazing little magical place. The ice cream is never disappointing, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is always welcoming and they let you sample the ice cream too. The ice cream is just delicious. I always love coming here. I dont understand why people go to a bar if you could have ice cream like this instead. Talk about a food coma... Wow!

Great ice cream! Super cute place. Some unique and interesting flavors as well as interesting decor. Definitely worth stopping by. They even have a mini size for those who are portion conscious. I loved this option because I never finish what I order. The mini was perfect.

It was fun experience to visit this ice cream shop for the first time. They have fun train go around the track. Their unique flavors and variety gave me fun time choosing my own ice cream cone. It was not so crowded and had nice dine in seating areas. Ice cream were kinda too sweet for my taste but the it tasted good overall. I like their motor oil flavor ice cream

My family and I visit often and we have never had a bad experience. I like bringing my kids to a place where young men and women demonstrate a great work ethic and a positive attitude.

The only thing better than the ice cream is the waffle cones! They have a light cinnamon vanilla flavor that pairs well with any flavor ice cream I have ordered. They are a bit pricey but the quality is certainly on par. Seating both inside and out make for a great place to sit on a lazy afternoon. Outside seating has a relaxing water feature that adds to the ambiance. Service was prompt with a smile and great suggestions.

I love Docs Ice Cream! It is always fresh and Gourmet. Love the train set and the decor is excellent if the locally owned and operated by a family.Super for a Party or even a Business meeting. Think about it people might show up to your Home Owners Association Meeting if it were held here! And of course its great for kids birthday parties.

Expensive and same flavors as any other ice cream shop

The ice cream here is definitely top quality, excellent flavors, unique and diverse. Should have something that everyone from the entire family would love. The major downside to this place is the price of their product. Definitely not cheap. I should not have to pay the equivalent to a dinner bill at a restaurant for ice cream for 3 people. Kinda outrageous. Its ice cream... Not gold. I would honestly rather go to the grocery and buy several half gallons from Breyers or maybe get some Ben and Jerrys. But thats just me.

🍦Surprisingly good ice cream and excellent choice of flavors such as Merlot with Raspberry. Its kid friendly inside and reminded me of a tame Chuck E. Cheeses - but not that crazy. I definitely would go back to try other unique flavors.

This little shop is probably one of the best ice cream shops Ive been in. From the second you open the door you are welcomed with the smell of freshly made waffle cones and a cheerful atmosphere. They make their own ice cream as well. It always taste fresh and is not hard from sitting in a freezer for who knows how long. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heart beat!

Neat place and they have some really cool flavours that come out monthly besides the typical ones youd find. They also sell ice cream cakes and an assortment of other frozen treats. I enjoy coming here.

I love this place! The ice cream is so good, and I live the new flavors that they come up with. Some of my favorites are Mint Fudge Oreo, Smores, and the root beer one. The employees are really nice, and theyre always happy to tell you about the ice cream flavors that they have, and they offer you samples if you want to try them.On another note, its really cool that Doc Burnsteins does a blood drive at this location a couple times a year, and they give you a free pint of ice cream if you donate.

I like playing with the big checkerboard up front with friends. Putting in the special coin for the ICE CREAM machine to work. Enjoying all the free samples Orcutt crunch is my favorite!

Ice cream was cold

It’s about the experience... but it’s also about the amazing ice cream. I was sad when they left old town Orcutt, but I love Doc’s still. The best part of their business is actually, in my opinion, their partnership with the blood bank (Vitalant). They give out discounts to blood donors and they sponsor blood drives. What a great way for them to give back! They continue to impress.

Went to go get me some milkshakes. The new SM location is somewhat nicer than some of the other locations. Experience was slightly ruined by other customers who had no courtesy and cut me and my friend in line not even asking if we were waiting to order something. I guess that what happens when when there is no wall and 3rd world class people show up. Now back to the ice cream. It was good definitely the liquid diabeetus Ive been searching for. I had the pumpkin pie shake a lil too much batter taste than ice cream than I like but good. Had to spring for the large because the small was like 12oz and that wasnt going to satisfy my inner fatty. Overall good shake but lil over priced for a premium ice cream.

My family and I go here too often! What is not to love about it? We even celebrated my husbands birthday here a few years ago. It is a bit expensive, but worth the price. I just wish they hadnt left Old Orcutt for Santa Maria. We miss being able to walk there. I also miss the Tuesday afternoon story hour they used to have in the Old Orcutt location. (They were right next door to the Orcutt Branch of the public library).
