Worth a visit when in Santa Fe. Dozens of eateries, eclectic shops, galleries and more line this gently sloping paved road. Sculpture gardens are plentiful. Walkable, about a mile plus. Bit of a trek, but doable, walk from downtown area, but if you buy items it may be best to drive. Tips: If you catch an Uber or the like, have them drop you off half way and trek up a few blocks to paid parking lot then back down. You can also catch the free Santa Fe shuttle to and from the Canyon. Shuttle usually comes through every 30 minutes or so. Check their online schedule.
I had the most wonderful experience here with Kate England. She is knowledgeable, patient and very very kind. I would recommend to anyone to stop by and take a look at the stock, very lovely and well maintained show floor.
Literally the worst experience I have ever had with a merchant. They completely misrepresented their services re consignment. and I had actually bought from them before so an existing customer. Internal communication between owner and employees does not exist. Not to be trusted at all!!! What they say and what they do are 2 completely different things.
Lots of nice antique furniture and art work.
Parking only at some spots possible, many galleries closed. But overall nice.
Helpful so 5 stars
What a great idea! Fine consignment on Canyon Road. After many years of changing hands and style, the space has been beautifully refinished and the staff couldnt be friendlier or more knowledgeable about art. Its a treat to just walk around the place, stand by the roaring fire and talk art and history. Some of the pieces in the gallery date back to the 1600s! The furnishings and art are top drawer.
Loved walking up and down this street and seeing all the art. very inviting and wonderful art. all galleries are very friendly
One of the misconceptions about Santa Fe, and the Southwest US art scene in general, is that its all cows and cowboys, with a few horses and tumbleweed thrown in for good measure. But that perception is not reality. Canyon Road has a greatly deserved reputation for a great diversity of art and artists. Owen Contemporary, Hunter Kirkland, Giacobbe-Fritz Fine Art and many other galleries represent some of the finest art talent working today. Canyon Road is a pleasant stroll whether you stop in to look at collections, or enjoy a libation along the way.
Fantastic gallery. You can find furniture, jewelry, paintings, sculpture, and more! We bought 3 paintings that we fell in love with. Owners are wonderful people who are very helpful. Its a must see on Canyon Road.
Pretty interesting place. Very cute and lots of arts to check out.
A community treasure! On Canyon Road Gallery is the finest estate consignment gallery in a historic 200 year old building on the most famous artist street in Santa Fe.
Beautiful people staffing a gorgeous gallery filled with treasures that delight the heart. Were so very blessed, and now even more so, here in Santa Fe.
