Rice had no taste at all, beans look old and taste old, i asked my enchiladas have no onions but i had to take them out, i also ordered nachos the nachos had barely any cheese and it wasn’t nacho cheese, the tostadas were stale and tasted funny. I wouldn’t recommend spending any money in this quality of food.

I love this cafe! I have only gone there for breakfast and I haven’t yet had their coffee, but the breakfast bowl is delicious. I plan on trying more of their menu items soon. There is something for everyone. The ambience is comfortable, relaxed and features a variety of artist’s work on the walls. The staff is efficient and friendly. There is some outside seating for warm days and lots of indoor tables too. They also have a “take-a-book, leave-a-book shelf”. Check it out, great place!

I went around 8a.m. Relaxing environment. Art on walls that you can buy. Jazz music playing in the background. As for the cranberry scone I had. Was a bit hard. I could tell it was not made fresh. The homemade chia tasted watered down. No flavor what so ever. My fiancé ordered the banana strawberry with mango smoothie. We could not taste the mango. Disappointed to say the less. Oh well, live and learn.

Love this place. It’s been a highlight of my visit to New Mexico for the summer. I stop by every time I’m in Santa Fe.Edit: A lot of the negative reviews I’m seeing have to do with speed. I don’t think this is the place to come if you’re in a hurry. Come and stay a while. The staff may be slower, but they don’t pride themselves on having you out the door. Come in, relax, get a good coffee and/or some food. There’s a Starbucks nearby if you’re in a rush.

My favorite breakfast burritos in all of Santa Fe. Seriously everything on the menu is so good here from salads to espresso to baked goods. Have done takeout and dine in. Great vibe in house too if you stay and sit there. There’s indoor and outside seating. Call ahead though and make sure they are open because I didn’t find website/ Google hours always up to date during Covid.

Absolutely in LOVE!!!! I found this charming place while visiting Santa Fe. I 100%support local and what could be more local than a coffee shop owned by indigenous people. They have an extensive menu that is available all day (my personal favorite was the spinach salad), sensational in house made baked goods, organic teas, reasonable prices, outdoor seating, great people behind the counter, whats not to love? Finding Tribes Coffee House made me wish I lived in Santa Fe. Dont miss this gem!

Cute place, fun to look at the artwork while i waited for a perfect spinach and feta croissant and sipped a coffee. The reason Im posting this only today is that I just recommended it to our daughter as she and her family are passing through Santa Fe and i cant get this place out of my head. What I really appreciate about this place is that They have been continuing to show up and feed our community even though they are faced with so many challenges. The staff wear masks all day and show up with a friendly disposition despite the fact that they probably cannot breath very well. They make changes for vegans and they have great chai. Zeinab has been doing a great job and any one who is working As hard as she and her staff are (while others are living off of the generosity’s of unemployment) - deserves ONLY positive recognition. Stopped at this place once while visiting Santa Fe. I only really like blended coffee, so I was happy to see that they had that available. I was pretty tired, so I asked the guy working if I were to get the largest size, how many shots of coffee (either espresso or whatever some places use in their blended drinks) would be in it. He said one! Only one!! I asked if he could add a shot to it, and he was like, well, I *could*... Id have to change the recipe. I asked him to please do so. I really wanted more like 3 shots, but I didnt dare ask. Came out good.TL;DR: Coffee was pretty good. Service wasnt bad, just special..

Stopped by here on our way to Taos... Incredibly slow service for 2 drinks. Smoothies were advertised in multiple spots as fresh fruit smoothies - our mango smoothie was in no way fresh, and barely tasted like mango. Everything on the menu seemed incredibly overpriced - I live in Denver so Im used to higher prices, but these were higher prices than Denver without the quality. Front staff and patrons were all pretty standoff-ish and unfriendly.Positive - the baked goods selection was definitely home made and looked really tasty, and my match latte was pretty good.

Tribes has a great advantage. Its a coffee shop and diner. Nothing like it around for miles. You cant get a variety of dishes at the nearby Starbucks. And sometimes you dont want the full service with server like at Plaza Cafe -- because you have a movie to attend. (Im surprised no similar business has sprung up to compete). Unfortunatley, the food is just ok. Its diner food not culinary masterpieces. But the prices sure remind you of other high end places--- $10 for a burrito! Other disadvantages...its more of a retiree hang out than for millennials. The tables havent been modernized for years so one person can take up a table for 4. Get regular coffee, no lattes. Stick with cheap sandwiches for a quick bite before shopping or movie.

This used to be a decent place for breakfasts. Now you need to plan half a day while the front counter staff tries to find her way around. Utterly inefficient. Add to that the flock of octogenarians. Ive been here twice in the last two months (been to Santa Fe that many times). I returned for the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I dont love the place but I love that dish. It doesnt have the coffee house vibe, maybe because its in a strip mall surrounded by brick and mortar. This visit, the barista was very slow making two orders and wouldnt even acknowledge the person waiting at the register. Next time Im in Santa Fe, I will come back just for the breakfast item.

I have never had this bad of an experience before. We got here around 1:25, we waited 15 minutes to order, while the man working was chatting with a young lady while making her coffee (didn’t bother to acknowledge us at all) Her card only had 3 CENTS on it, he let her leave without paying the remainder of her over $7 balance. We finally got to order at 1:40, we ordered 2 Very Berry smoothies. People came in after us and received their coffees rather quickly. (Yes, I understand smoothies are a little more time consuming than coffee to make.) We had to get up to remind the guy working cause he was too focused on everyone else’s orders, we finally received our smoothies at 1:55. Took a drink WORST SMOOTHIE I have ever had, It’s literally just milk and berries. I will not return here nor recommend it to anyone.
