A few blocks off the main Plaza. Tasty gelato for reasonable prices. We had the large that gives you 4 tastes for something like $6. I loved the pistachio. We also had Oreo, vanilla and chocolate hazelnut. All yummy!

Looking beyond the nitpicky fact that this is ice cream and not gelato, and that this is not like gelato from Italy, I like this place. They have very nice flavors like chocolate hazelnut, and unusual seasonal ones such as basil. Their coffee is nothing to sneeze at either, my iced latte was quite delicious. Their commitment to interesting flavors and a seasonal ingredients, plus their good coffee and speedy service gets 5 stars from me. I might be biased though since I can walk there from my apartment.

The taste was a 5. The presentation was a 2. I ordered an affogato and it was given to me in a large cup with the Gelato scraped onto the top side of the cup and the coffee poured at the very bottom. It tasted really good, but I didnt like that I had to assemble it myself.

Clean store and good service. However, not a huge fan of my blood orange sorbet, it tasted basically like sugar water. I’d avoid those and go for the creamier gelatos, which tasted much better.

I just came back from Europe but this gelato is amazing. Pair it with a coffee. Must go

Amazing gelato, with lots and lots of very delicious flavors. Even with a kids size, they allow for two flavors. Definitely a place you should try out when youre by the plaza!

Now here is an ideal place to either hang out or get something to go. The display of Gelatos and Sorbets was clean and well lit. Many flavors to choose from. The server allowed us to taste as many different kinds as we wanted to. We only need to taste the Italian one we could not pronounce. It is a kind of chocolate chip. Fabulous! My friend had two kinds of sorbet. She said the zest in the key lime was quite tart if you prefer that kind of thing.. Myself I had the vanilla and amaretto. Thick and sumptuous. An excellent place to spend a little dessert time.

Not too much in the decor department, but a selection of coffee, pastries, hot sandwiches and cold pre-prepped sandwiches, cool drinks in bottles and cans, and gelato (a small is about $5 for two flavors). Was the worst customer service on a Tuesday night on sept 28th ..As a paying customer I was very disappointed in the hostile greeting and the rudeness of the young girl waiting on us.I asked about a restroom and she snapped at me that they just moped them hours before closing . She was very angry energy while the other girl just sat there eating .

I had sorbet as I cant have dairy and it was really good. There were tables inside and out. We had friendly service. I liked the art and photo decorations.

Friend and I stopped by here on the way back from the library. I got the gelato, a mix between Oreo and hazelnut chocolate- she got a custom espresso. I was pretty happy with the gelato, she says the espresso was good! :)

Pretentious and condescending is the best way to describe the experience I had with this shop. I was scouting a place for myself and coworkers to come after work, so thats 12 people who wont be talked down to.

The service from the employees working here was great. When we went there, it didnt seem like to much of a selection in my opinion. I personally didnt get anything but my Fiancé did and it seemed like she thoroughly enjoyed it so I guess it was pretty good.

This is the one place we always have to stop when visiting Santa Fe! They have the tastiest, most refreshing gelato. Pistachio & stracciatella is probably one of their most popular (left). I love the banana and roasted pineapple (right). Get a free sample first, so youre sure to get the best one for you!

Chai latte was undrinkable and came from a premade plastic container that the woman poured right in front of me. Blueberry muffin bland and tastes like it came from a Duncan Hines box. Maybe the coffee is good, but do not order the chai.

I wish we had discovered this place sooner in our Santa Fe Adventure. The best Affogato I have ever had and amazing gelato. Great vibe, music and atmosphere. A must stop for a sweet treat!

We loved the gelato! We got to taste a few flavors and ended up getting chocolate, stracciatella, amaretto and pistachio. They didnt have Nutella but thats alright.The container in the picture is the large one and it goes for 6$ tax included.

Friendly knowlegeable service, all while observing proper covid etiquette and protocols. Super clean n peaceful. Their chai latte is to die for, esp when they make it less sweet and with delicious fresh steamed milk. Prices fair for the quality. Open early for us sunrise walkers.

Good gelato

Very friendly staff, the pastries were had definitely seemed homemade. Someone in an earlier review said it was pretentious while simultaneously being extremely pretentious in their review....funny how that works. I think the overall review score is indicative what you are getting here! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because their microwave the pastries to reward them which is fine for some things but a pastry like a banana walnut muffin gets chew in the microwave. A roasting method would be better. Still though, it was a great experience and in a nice location with ample seating as well

Wonderful Gelato and and great service!

This is not gelato by any stretch of the imagination. It does offer gelato flavors in their typical cups. And they are covid sensitive. For that I give the 2 stars. But I dock three for not being good at what they are offering. The product has a strong ice taste profile to it indicating it has a high water content. Its quite sweet from the sugar. This is essentially ice cream. Gelato is unique because of its very concentration of flavored ingredient. So hazelnut should taste like an explosion of such. Chocolate should be intensely chocolatey, not sweet. This is not uncommon of most American gelato shops. But if try real gelato, youll never confuse the two and realize why its different from ice cream immediately by a single taste. Unfortunately reviews probably wont help cause a shop with no competition will inevitably be highly rated. The environment of the shop is nice though.

Ecco Espresso is most likely one of the best gelato shops in Santa Fe.They have fabulously unique and, at times, a bit obscure flavors- although always good. They allow one to taste test any of their flavors before purchase. Their serving sizes are decent, although not decadent. Granted, they are not cheap. They have a great assortment of coffees and flavored drinks, as well as pastries.I would certainly recommend them. Also, they are a small family owned business. They are in a high traffic environment, near the Santa Fe plaza and they are unique. Always friendly and hospitable!They could invest in some furniture and lighting which is more comfortable and aesthetically, more attractive.

Very good Mocha, super fast! I recommend getting some lavender syrup for a latte. Loved the experience overall. Very nice place.

They have wonderful gelato, staff, and atmosphere. Whenever we eat out near the plaza we take a walk after dinner and stop in here for a lovely dessert.

Staff is always super friendly, and I love how they price their food. Its always very clean.Also, the flavors rotate often, and are always interesting. Basil is a favorite of mine, as well as the chocolate hazelnut, and the lavendar.If youre looking for unconventional flavors, and a chilly delight, this is the place for you.

Gelato open ge-late-o! (Compared with other stuff on Saturday nights.) Good, subtle, simple gelato flavors. Can recommend the Basil, Sicilian Pistachio, and Chocolate.

Exceptionally tasty

I had an awesome super strong mocha. Only get 1 shot of espresso here, it is strong enough to wake you up. I like the vibe of this place too, parking area is nice, easy and not crowded. Baked items are super moist and great tasting too.

Meh.Very few vegan options.Also, they make a TON of plastic waste when they could very easily offer their gelato on reusable flatware considering they already have a kitchen. Even if you dine in you are forced into plastic one time use flatware and cups.

My family and I were looking for a place for ice cream/ sweet eats and we were recommended to try this place. Amazing. Our daughter really loved it, it was her first time eating gelato. Will be looking forward to revisiting this place again when in Santa Fe.

The Italian chocolate chip (it jas a different name, but i cant remember it) was amazing! I had that and the chocolate. Acceptable prices, but I would say just north of median. However, for the quality I say its worth it. I didnt have a coffee, but my friend thoroughly enjoyed his latte.

Great spot to relax with a book and a coffee just off the plaza. Also amazing assortment of gelato to help cool you off on a hot summer day! Locals enjoy relaxing on the cafe chairs outside in the shade to say hi to their buddies who pass by.

Good gelato and coffee !

A nice selection of gelatos and of gourmet coffees and hot chocolates. While its not the largest selection of gelato that you can find, the selection is more than adequate. We tried the red chili hot chocolate and I strongly recommend it to anybody visiting this establishment.

Great gelato just off the main drag in the city different. Also enjoyed the artwork.

Not the worst, but not good either. Coffee is stale and is literally just milk foam. Location is fine and so is service. Pastries were also not bad. Havent tried their gelato but there must be something better somewhere in a city with 70,000 people.

Good coffee but mediocre scone. Service was quick and staff members were pleasant. Ample seating inside but limited outside seating.

Service was very friendly and engaging however the gellato is watery. I was left wondering if any eggs were used at all. The flavor combinations are wonderful, they just need a better base.

Service was apathetic, server seemed disinterested in being helpful. Asked for a sample after it became clear none was going to be offered. In every other gelato place I have been to that is usually the first thing they greet you with. Gelato flavors were hit and miss. The chocolate hazelnut had little flavor, the strawberry habanero was pretty good, and the vanilla was meh. Overall it is okay but not great.

Love love love. Their gelato is amazing and the staff is always willing to let my daughter try a bunch of flavors before she picks. Their baristas are legit. Kayla is my favorite shes always going above and beyond for my espresso drinks.

My favorite gelato mix is Stracciatella (however you spell it ha), thin mint, & chocolate. Ive been coming here for years and its just a good ol place to get some amazing creamy gelato on a hot day.. If you havent tried this place, what are you waiting for?Also service is quick and friendly!

I LOVE this place! It is the best gelato Ive ever had and the only place Ill eat it in this state. The people inside are friendly and they always have really good service. The atmosphere is also nice, light and airy. All the gelato they make is made fresh in the back with their own recipe, so its not shipped in or anything like that. Highly recommend eating here! 😊

Ive mostly only had the gelato here, but its very good. It reminds me of the gelato I had in Tuscany. One time I randomly had a grinder sandwich, and that was also really good.

Pretentious service with mediocre coffee. We werent greeted, were scoffed at when asking for a menu, and then given a poor product. Our group was comprised of two baristas and one coffee roaster, and we all agreed this was one of the worst all around coffee shops weve visited.
