Really unique store with an amazing environment. Their inventory consists of high end goods that are worth buying. Staff was very helpful as well. I would definitely visit here again.
The staff make this a fun and inviting place to shop for designer clothes from around the globe.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have lots of beautiful clothes and home decor.
I have purchased a couple items from here, and can say everyone was very helpful and patient with me. I will definitely visit the website again in the near future.
The quality of their inventory only compares to their staffs quality, and here I name Phat. Phat is certainly one of the most thoughtful people I have encounter.
I was first drawn into Santa Fe Dry Goods by their colorful and creative windows; beautiful clothing and accessories pulled together with such panache!Once inside, I discovered Noelle and the rest was history: pieces of their myriad inventory were pulled together to formulate savvy ensembles and we had fun as it all came together. Do not miss this Santa Fe original and do ask for Noelle. You will be glad you sought them out.
A wonderful shopping experience...luscious fabrics styled to perfection. Cindy Gardner has been so patient with me and quick to find items that fit my personal style! We look forward to shopping at the store when in Santa Fe and by a phone call when we’re not in town.
Have loved shopping here for years. Unique pieces you will find nowhere else. Hand stitched, hand dyed, artfully cut. Every piece is a work of art—and every piece is beautifully made. Can’t get to Santa Fe? No problem. SFD has a wonderful website and Noelle (and their web staff) are helpful even from miles away. My favorite store, anywhere.
The premier clothing store in Santa Fe, with one-of-a-kind pieces and an excellent staff. The prices are high, but this is a New York quality experience-don’t go in expecting department store prices. A friend and I spent several hours there today, and the individual attention we received was knowledgeable, friendly, and without pressure. Thank you, Noel. We both found wonderful pieces that were within our price ranges ( and several that were not, but it was fun trying them on). If you consider clothes as art, this is a place for you.
There is always something new to discover at your store & I can always find clothes that I love here. On this particular shopping excursion, a very helpful sales associate, Noelle, found the perfect top for my partner. We definitely felt like valued customers after receiving such personalized service. Thank you again Noelle for for being amazing - even at closing time!
What a beautiful store with the most well curated and exquisite clothing and jewelry.Thank you Noelle for all your help and for telling us all about the designers and helping us find our sizes. It was a joy to shop at Santa Fe Dry Goods. We can’t wait to come back!
I actually used to shop at Santa Fe Dry goods with my mother when the current owners parents owned the store. After Shoban revamped it it became one of the most interesting places to shop certainly in the US and possibly anywhere in the world. She has brought together pieces from many different places and the result is really exciting. I don’t shop for clothing anywhere else! She also has hired people who care about the beautiful aesthetic of this place and are always great to work with. I have used Gail Beck for several years now and she knows exactly what I like. This is a very special place.
Love this place! And Workshop, and Wildlife! My kind of browsing, and I always find treasure. Pele is my personal shopper at Dry Goods, she knows exactly what I like and what will suit me. She’s honest to a fault, and would never say a piece looked fabulous on if I really looked like a sack of spuds. Pele even emails when she’s found something she knows I’m looking for.The store alone is a marvel of colours and textures, and is a guaranteed pick-me up if you’re feeling down.Thank you, and you know I’ll be back for more!
I’ve been shopping in Santa Fe Dry Goods since the store opened and before that in Salamander Leather, the store’s previous iteration. I love the look and feel of the store which is more like a garment gallery and the unique artisanal clothing from around the world. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the designers and materials. I particularly enjoy working with Cindy who knows what I like and provides an honest appraisal of what looks great versus just okay. Cindy is aware that I know what I like and has never pushed me to buy something that would sit unworn in my closet. She has called me when something that she thinks I’d like has come in and has stayed late when I’ve arrived just before closing. I have also appreciated Gail when Cindy is not working when I’ve come in.
Incredible world class fashions. Heavily curated and mind blowing styles. This is some of the most impressive work on the planet. If you’re a fashionista or just have never experienced something like this, you cannot miss this store.
Gail Beck is the best!! She helps me shop remotely and i have never been disappointed. This is my favorite shop. You can’t go wrong with Gail.
Very nice ladies store. A carefully curated collection of assorted clothing and accessories, jewelry. Nice stuff, pricey, but these pieces are mostly remarkable.I have read the earlier reviews about the return policy, which is quite disheartening. I would like to see the owner or a manager reply to some of the public reviews. If I do not see a response, I will take away the stars and not shop here again.
A huge selection of European designers in one place. I particularly like Workshop for its funkier styles and cool shoes. Also recommend checking out their new store, Wild Life, for home goods.
SFDG has a beautifully curated shop. And I would be buying from them all the time if it wasnt for their ridiculous return policy. I ordered over $2000 worth of clothing from them...returned a few pieces, but still kept about $1000 worth of clothes. I had to pay for shipping PLUS a restocking fee.(There is no mention of a restocking fee on their website!!!)I highly recommend you shop elsewhere....
This is a high end shop with beautiful clothing, jewelry and accessories that include designs exclusive to this store. It is for really discriminating women with class and taste. The staff, unlike at other stores, stay with you to put together beautiful and unique outfits for your every occasion. They inform you of what it takes to create these amazing designs (silks created in natural dyes that take months, hand made buttons, etc.). It is art to wear and truly the best of the very best. I love this place - its truly an amazingly wonderful experience for those who know how to appreciate wonderfulness!
My favorite clothing store in Santa Fe, carrying beautiful, artisan fashion lines. Phat Lê is a fantastic person to work with! He keeps his clients informed about new pieces, sales, and finds you exactly what youre looking for! He is really knowledgable about all of their brands and tells it like it is. You will leave looking fabulous!
I’ve been a loyal customer for four years, thanks to a remarkable employee there, known only by his first name “Orren”. He knew his inventory so well, and he matched it to a style in which he envisioned me. He changed the way I style my wardrobe and the way I think of fashion. A remarkable asset to the store. Last week he was suddenly dismissed. I’m in shock! I’m told he sold a million dollars worth of merchandise a year, which I can believe. My concern is that I hope and pray that there were not homophobic motives to his departure.😪
Great experience shopping with Cindy. I told her what I was looking for and she searched the store and brought the appropriate clothes to the dressing room.
Noelle always has a smile when you meet her and a very inviting nature. Love her styling advise!
I always look forward to shopping at Santa Fe Dry Goods whenever I visit Santa Fe. The last time I was there, Noelle helped me and she made the experience a true pleasure. In fact, I am discovering that with Noelles help I can still easily shop at the store even though I am no longer in Santa Fe.
I have purchased some of my favorite pieces of clothing and jewelry from SFDG and Workshop. I love each and every unique, artful and high quality piece. The shops themselves are beautiful and their selections can rival any designer boutique in the world. SF Dry Goods and Workshop definitely elevate the Santa Fe shopping experience!
Carolence helped me find a casual, light weight travel jacket. She quickly understood my “style” and selected jackets for me to try on. I found the perfect jacket with her help. Working with Carolence was a delightful experience!
Amazing selection of clothes and extremely helpful sales people. A joy to shop there for my wife.Arnold Tenenbaum
Love this store! Walking in to see all the fabulous fabrics and colors. My favorite designer, that I have only found here, of course I had to get the latest and greatest from her line. Everyone back in Michigan always wants to know, where do you buy your clothes, in Sante Fe NM!!! THAT is why I never see anyone dressed like my twin!
Dry Goods has the best designer clothing in Santa Fe. Shobhan is constantly scouting the trade shows to make sure she brings looks and designs that are always fresh, always new. Highly recommended. Great selection and friendly staff.
Always love visiting all three stores; clothing and accessories are special and distinctive, customer service is genuine, knowledgeable.
An incredible selection of the best designers from around the world. The service is impeccable . This is my favorite place to shop .
Superb store...love their stock..most friendly staff..
Walked in here to peruse and saw a $2000 scarf. I called over my mom and sister over to note the price. We were immediately tailed by an aggressive saleswoman. At first we didn’t mind until we heard her mutter to another employee “watch them.” Needless to say, we were offended and extremely uninterested in stealing a $2000 scarf. Unreasonable prices and service to match.
Do not buy from this company! If you have a problem and want to return an item, they have all different rules. They will also tack on fees to your credit card. It will list a s restocking but they actually tell you later that its a credit card fee. They are unprofessional and feel they have the right to create their own rules. My credit card company took care of the issue, because this company will not resolve an issue. I left numerous messages about the issue and nobody returns a call. Not worth the experience. Many other kind business to buy from. Poor customer service!
Pele is amazing. Curated beautiful
Went in to this “store” to look for Christmas gifts. As we were browsing we heard an associate state “watch them” as if they thought we were keen to shop lift. Needless to say we were offended and decided to take our business elsewhere. If you are looking for uppity elitists this is your store. Big mistake, huge.
A bunch of snobs, no customer service what so ever. We will never shop there again.
Santa Fe Dry Goods and Workshop, the sister store next door, are wonderful! The customer service goes above and beyond and the selection is lovely. They not only carry well known and sought after designers like Dries Van Noten, Etro, and Brunello Cucinelli, but also large collections of small designers that I have never heard of from all over the world. If you take a trip to Santa Fe, stopping into these stores is a must, even if it is just to look at the well cared for displays and chat with the friendly sales people.
Best high-end fashion store!
Very expensive
