Michael planed and sanded some Aspen T&G I needed to weigh less. I called snd 1.5 hours later I had my wood, planed and sanded! Amazing! Now I can easily continue with my ceiling! Thanks so much.

About 3 years ago Wood Design built a custom cabinet for our master closet. Although it took a while for it to be constructed it was well worth the wait as it has looked fantastic since the install. Michael matched the look and feel of the other cabinets already there. We absolutely love the end product. Oh, in Michaels defense concerning the extended time-line, he did say up front that they were finishing up a huge job in Texas. The cabinet took our closet from ho hum ordinary to extraordinary. Give them a try.

Ms. Houck,I am sorry that your experience at Wood Design was unsatisfactory. As I recall we only had one meeting to discuss your needs. During that first meeting it became clear to me that it was in my best interest to decline bidding your project as I did not have the feeling that you were going to be the type of client who would appreciate our work. As for my ego, that had nothing to do with our interaction. Im about as humble as they come. In addition we were very busy at the time and your timeline for completion was short and I didnt feel we could complete the project in the required time.I wrote you a very clear and kind email explaining that situation and recommended three other excellent companies that could help you if they were able to meet your timeline. Im not sure how much more professional I could have been. Declining a project because we couldnt complete it in the required timeline is as professional as can be.We never worked together and you gave us a horrible review. I am very glad we did not work together as it seems that everyone that crosses your path gets horrible reviews except for restaurants and massage therapists. Had we worked together I can only imagine which direction the business relationship might have gone.I wish you the best of luck with your home and I hope you find the happiness you seek in Santa Fe someday.

We have been so pleased with the fine work Michael and his craftsmen have done for us over the years. His care and consistent attention to detail is remarkable. The shops cabinetry is top-notch, but we especially love the fine and unique individual furniture pieces. Nice people to do business with!

Dont bother unless you have unlimited $$ and can deal with an owner whos ego doesnt fit through the front door.Never gave a break down of costs - literally pulled a number out of his arse without actually ever looking at the cabinet plans.Skip it, dont waste your time or money.
