I love this kind of bookstore, new and used books. Many of the used books in piles for you to go through. If you want a meticulously organized store, this isnt for you. But if you like having an adventure to find your next book, I recommend this one.

I love used bookstores, and I think this is the largest in town? They definitely have the most books! Ive found things here that Ive struggled to find on Amazon, even. I was worried about brick and mortar bookstores during the pandemic, so Im really happy theyre still open and I can come here regularly again!

What an absolutely excellent book store. Such a tribute to the book lovers of Sante Fe. My name is Roger Browning. I am a writer of books and am fortunate enough to have my book, a modern day dysfunctional Texas ranching family saga, titled, The Reckoning of Rance, sitting the shelves of the Taos store and out now on Amazon and I would love to see it one day sitting the shelf here. I never miss a visit to this store when I travel in. It is such a great place for a book lover to be. Shelf after shelf, row after row of just about anything a reader for their own given genre, could get themselves lost into by choice. Choices in titles that a library itself would be envious of. This is a difficult time for writers and for the stores in this time of covid. Book signings and shows halted, but this is a time when we need the knowledge the most, so please take the time to visit the safety of this outlet. You owe it to yourself to sit their comfortable chairs and rest your mind with a good book. It is a great and beautiful abundance to be sure.

Great bookstore. Picked up a free book outside the store and decided to go in. They have so many great books many of them are hardcover and at low prices. They have a huge variety of topics.

I love books and even read them so its easy to say I reccomend this place. Its also a used book store which makes it special as well...something about books being passed on fires me up. And selection, just wait till you start wandering the stacks and aisles...boy they have tons. First editions, art books, fiction and non they have books for every need and desire. Check it out and plan on spending some time there.

This is a really nice location and a friendly staff. It feels more cozy that it is, the back half of the store is storage for books. It really depends on what you are looking for so far as selection goes. The quality of books is good. The price is reasonable for the condition of the books, most of which are hardback.

It seems that bookstores are from a bygone era...but if you love books as I do, this one is very special. Its prolly 99.9% used books, which is what I love, with some new books thrown in for fun. The staff is helpful and the inventory extensive. Plan on spending some time browsing because there is so much to explore. Enjoy!

Truly a quintessential bookstore experience, reminiscent of bookstores in larger cities. Great mix of used and new, with a great selection. Super friendly staff, too. Op.cit seems to have figured out how to be a brick and mortar in the Amazon Age.

What a nice store. Miss having retail bookstores in Santa Fe. They have a good sampling of many subjects. Several areas to sit and read. Prices arent bad. Nice and helful staff.

Great place to find that one of a kind book. Love being able to still go into a brick and mortar book store and touch and smell the books. Fantastic place and a must stop every time we are in santa fe.

Greatest Used/Donate Book Store in Santa Fe, maybe the Southwestern United States! A Substantial percentage of the Selections, all divided & organized alphabetically are top, best-selling Authors/Classics-Writers/dedicated correspondents or known experts who publish in their fields/professions.

Helpful, friendly staff that let me wander to my hearts content, without constantly checking in. Store is always filled with amazing, well-priced finds.

Fantastic bookstore with well edited sections and lots of comfy chairs. Staff selections are always on target, and theres a free books cart outside which is often stocked with wonderful treasures.

It took almost 2 months to get a book order. By the time it came into the store, I no longer needed it.

Hands down, the best bookstore Ive visited in NM. Condition of their books is exemplary and their selection is sure to please every kind of reader.I found many of my favorite authors books here: Gaiman, Murakami, Atwood, Tartt...Im thrilled to come back and get more!
