The biggest Spanish-language bookstore Ive seen in the U.S. Jim, the proprietor, lived in Mexico City for 12 years and still regularly attends book fairs all over the Spanish-speaking world, buying for children, academics, and everyone in between. Prices are relatively high but the service is top-notch and he has rooms full of books from so many different countries and cultural traditions. I picked up half a suitcase worth of books here. There is also a Portuguese section. He will ship if you call. Look for the Independent Artists Gallery sign on the street and go up the stairs by the Starbucks.
