It just seems to need a remodel. The store is kind of dark and not well organized. The selection of apparel fabrics is a bit slim, but the staff are helpful and nice.

Great sales and I easily found what I wanted. But when I got to checkout, the computer couldnt find the sale price, which took a little while for the staff to resolve. But the staff was great and got it all worked out!

This store has really come along way. Much more clean and organized. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about various crafts and fabrics.

I was amazed at the selection of costume fabrics at this store. Even though this Joann Fabrics is not as large as the stores in Albuquerque it had a much larger selection of shiny, sparklie, blingy material than the stores in Albuquerque. As a belly dancer I enjoy seeing the stuff that is way over the top.One thing I do have to say though is that the fabrics at JoAnns is very expensive. Most of the fabric has a perment 30% discount, but it is still very, very expensive. And this not only goes for the sparkly, bling stuff, it goes for standard stuff like chiffon, cotton, stretch knit, and poly satins. I have found cheaper fabric on line. And for the pretty standard everyday stuff it is really not worth buying at JoAnns.I do like the selection of crafting items at JoAnns and I really love the in house Paper crafting pads that they offer. Those are some very nice papers at a decent price. In addition, when those pads go on sale the price is even better. I have noticed that Michaels does not seem to have the selection of Tim Holtz products that it used to carry and I do have better luck finding Tim Holtz products at JoAnns. I refuse to shop at Hobby Lobby.

I have lived here for 6 years and have only gone to this JoAnns a handful of times. They have new staff that want to actually be there and know their store really well. I will gladly be going back there more often.

I love shopping here! Always a good sale and the customer service has always been great. Every time I have shopped here, the staff have been friendly and helpful. I never have to wait to long for fabric to be cut either. My craft store of choice just for the staff alone! The selection of fabric is great too!

The store is nice to get in and out! I will say their was a male employee who was nice when checking out! But when I asked where something was another employee just pointed me to the item. I went in a second time today and once again no help and poor service at the register. Customer service is key in any location! I’ll just order online and have it delivered 👍🏼

I love this store. While it is smaller and therefore has a smaller selection than its larger Albuquerque counterparts, they still have a pretty good selection, friendly staff, clean and well organized and less busy store.

We always find what we need here.. they have more than just fabrics, the craft section has a good selection of items from paint to holiday season items.

They have fantastic coupons for items and an excellent variety of fabrics, jewelry making materials, a delightful selection of beads, hobby kits, birdhouses to paint, and of course, sewing supplies. The staff is very nice and helpful if you have questions. If you get their app on your phone, you get a great coupon choice.

Clean store, friendly staff, just wish they had a bit more of a variety but perfect for those who sew, crochet, and work with fabrics!

In all the years I have gone to this store, I didnt have a terrible experience until today. I was buying lace fabric for a wedding dress. The manager who attended me bunched up the fabric and cut it, so although I dont have a full 5 yards as you can see from the picture, I sure as heck paid a lot of money for it. She was rude when I asked her questions and impatient with me even though no one else was waiting after me. Not sure if she was rude because she was having a bad day or because of who I am. But a customer came up to me and apologized for her behavior. Heading to Abq from now on.

I went in today to get pilyfil and polyfill for my nephews Snorlax beanbag. The woman there was super helpful! She helped me find everything I needed and even suggested getting an extra bag of both. Which I absolutely needed. Everything turned out great because of her help!

Ive been in several times before. Maybe all the stars were aligned or something because everyone was friendly. As I walked in a leaving customer was all happy and held the door for me, saying hello. All the staff were great. Even upon learning someone coming in opened the door for me and said hi. It was busy. Staff were pleasant. Wow. It was great.

The store was overly busy. There was a line for fabric cutting and an extremely long line for checkout. A women at one of the registers was incredibly rude when I stood in her line to check out. She stated that she was only at that register because she was doing a return, which is understandable; however, she didnt need to be so unpleasant about it.

I drove from taos to get a rude sales associate tell me how to parent my child. Apparently, they have faulty electrical outlets that have no warning of shock or danger to the public as they enter the store. The outlet is located directly in front of the main register with child attracting toys and impulse buys. I found what I was looking for and enjoyed every aisle, BUT was embarrassed when the associate kept antagonizing my child for being a regular 4 year old. I called the customer service number and am feeling better that it was not my fault for not telling my child to point out the obvious that the outlet was hanging. They lost my sale and I hope they get their store in check.

Muh, not so good. A good place to buy sewing items. Not a good place to buy other items. Went in looking for long sleeve T-shirts that were supposed to be on sale. Hardly any there. And they were all mixed up. I have gone before to buy sewing items. Very good selection of fabric and notions. Theres a sign on the door that says no backpacks allowed. I feel very uncomfortable when I go there.

I only knit, but man if I sewed or want a great hobby store, this is it. Such fun things to tantalize ones craftiness.

The staff here is great: super helpful, knowledgeable, and outgoing. It feels a little run down inside, but its the only big box fabric store in town, and the only option for pretty much every county north of here. If you need to sew 40 costumes, this is where youre going, and youre going to be grateful it exists at all, just like we are.

The staff here are always busy helping customers, but if you have time and can be patient, they will eventually provide expert advice and courteous assistance. The store is extremely well stocked for the sewing and quilting aficionados. They also stock a wide breadth of other crafts from jewelry making to knitting/crochet; however, the depth of stock is missing in the non-sewing crafts, primarily due to size, I suspect. Great for sewing, okay for everything else.

Went to get yarn for my mom and I found interesting things like a lifetime guarantee knife sharper, a battery operated facial hair remover, both priced at $ 19.99 each. Thats a great price.

It is a great store. With so many different kinds of crafts to try and a very wide selection of fabrics and patterns to choose from. They do seem a bit under staffed, but the one associate I (Patricia) did interact with was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. She made my experience a million times better than it could have been.

The nicest staff work here.They always go out of their way to help me. They are extremely busy- phone ringing, cutting fabric, helping customers on the floor, checking out customers at the register..wish Joann Fabric would double the staff to help these hard working employees.

Only fabric store in santa Fe or close by thats is dedicated to sewing. Always has what I am looking for, and friendly workers. Little and quaint. Reminds me of what a store in the 80s 90s was like. Decent collection of fabric, notions, thread, sewing machines, and everything in between.

I hate this store. Always nothing but attitude and poor customer service. Why are all the employees here so damn rude? Today I went in to buy material and the employees couldnt be bothered. I went to the counter to have my material cut and I was bypassed to the lady who just walked up. Is it because Im a guy? Whats the deal? It really sucks that this is the kind of store we have to put up with. Theyre lucky to be the ONLY FABIC STORE IN TOWN. I would definitely go somewhere else.

Have a lot of variety in fabrics, clothing patterns, and crafts. Was easy to look through the clothes pattern books and purchase my first clothing pattern for my new endeavor on making my own clothes.

I went there to buy just 1 item at 7:54 pm tonight. The doors were already locked even though the sign says theyre open until 8:00. I knocked, no answer. I called, no answer. Avoid the frustration and use Santa Fe Quilting or Santa Fe Sewing around the corner. Much better quality products and customer service: Ive had staff from both stores stay after closing time to continue to assist me.

General Joann store for your hobby needs. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Just the store was messy, congested, and the bathroom was dirty too. Other than that you can get your hobby needs here.

This craft store was pretty good, but it has a smaller selection of craft items than other craft stores I have been, but I found what I needed but it would have been nice to find more like the other craft stores. Overall it was a good place, might go back when I need something to make a craft.

The price is here are way better than one youll find out Michaels, so the selection on general craft is a little more limited. Ive been using their shop online/in store pickup feature available through Ebates or the JOANN app. Its very convenient, if you have a small child in tow, or are in a hurry, and dont want to spend a lot of time in the shop, cuz I know I will get sucked in there for an indeterminate amount of time if I go in there. The store is full of so many new ideas and mediums to play around with, its hard to walk in and not be inspired

Although Joanns has everything a craft store should have. Everything imaginable. This store is way too expensive! You can get the same quality. The same name brands. The same things that they have at Joanns; you can find at Hobby Lobby or at Walmart without that heavy pricetag! Im amazed that this store is still open.

Amazing array of fabrics, a feast of color & texture. Large selection of patterns, yarn, zippers, needles, etc to cover all sewing needs. Craft supplies.However there is usually a wait in line as the store appears to be perpetually understaffed with employees attending to a variety of tasks.

Avoid this place like the tornado it is, no respect for the customers and they need to FIX it fast! Had an older lady who works there, Vera who was pretty rude and nasty. She was telling an associate that shehated Mexicans because they steal everything. Judging by her looks, she is pretty latina looking herself. How the company tolerates this kind of behavior is beyond understanding! This nasty racism and bigotry speaks volumes as to why my family never returned. They also had managers that were just not the least bit interested in helping anyone out and were just unwelcoming at all. It is clear that they are understaffed and nothing has been done to resolve that matter. In short, we are taking our business someplace else.

Bad service, the employees are so rude. If you want to change some item that you bought, forget it. They never help you. Jo-Ann has a lot of coupons, but they decide if its valid depending on their humour.
