Im pretty loyal to my local dealership, but when they didnt have the car I needed, I went searching online. Mercedes Benz of Santa Fe had the car I wanted. I reached out to them and they were incredibly prompt and fair. I experienced absolutely no games or surprises with doing a remote transaction. They even drove the car 5 hours to meet me! Michael, Robert, and Michelle went out of their way to make this experience as easy as possible.

It took 6 hours to purchase a car. The finance gal, Michelle is the most rude and condescending person in that place.I drove a total of six hours to buy a car there. They didnt care about that, . even though I had spoken to the sales manager prior and asked to be expedited thru the process.I kept insisting that I wanted my husband on the loan and registration but they proceeded to do it their way without consulting me. No I cannot add him. I have dealt with this dealership in the past and it has always been sloppy and lazy. they try to blame the customer for everything.I will never patronize this place again.I will from now on do all of my auto business with MERCEDES BENZ OF ALBUQUERQUE!!!! They really know how to take care of their customers and run a dealership well.

We had a very positive experience with the sales team at this dealership. We purchased a used vehicle that we saw online. We spoke to the sales manager before making the 5 hour trip and he was very honest and up front about its condition. Once we arrived, we were well treated, the vehicle was as described and it was very easy to work with Michael & Robert of sales and Michelle in finance. We highly recommend MB of Santa Fe and would buy from them again. We live in the Denver area and have MB dealers close by, but this experience was easy and stress free. Based on our experience, this dealership values clients for the long term, not just for one transaction.

As silly as it sounds, I collect license plate frames from MBZ dealers I see while on vacation. I was in Santa Fe for a few days and made MBZ of Santa Fe a stop. Vivian was the coolest…she personally took me to the boutique to show the items in stock. Not only did she give me two different license plate frames, but she threw in a hat too. Wow! We had a great chat and I left with a huge cheesy smile. Thank you Vivian! 😁😁

They would go ghost on you, their CPO cars are not CPO, they dont check anything. I had a very bad experience, now I have to go through Mercedes HQ to report, and fix things. I was not expecting such a bad experience dealing with a Mercedes Dealer.. I have been trying to get a hold of Robert, or the manager Mike, but no luck.

Untrustworthy service advisor. Previously caught her in a lie, never answers her phone as it always goes to voice mail. Previously left numerious messages asking for a return call which wasnt made. Had an 8:00am appointment for 2 hour recall of SMART Car. We went on errands and back at 10:00 and vehicle wasnt even in the shop yet. She claimed a tech overslept but she knew that probably at 8:30 which meant she had plenty of time to call us and suggest we kill more time. Instead we came back as expected for 2 hour repair and wound up just sitting until 12:45 in other words that 2 hr repair took 5 hours. Never was a loaner car offered and our interpretation was that she knew we were out of towners so realized we wouldnt return and treated us that way. Ever since i first attempted to set up this recall Ive experienced poor communication and caught the service rep in a lie. Ill never go back to this dealership either for my Smart Car nor my Sprinter. Weve had major work done at 7 Mercedes Dealerships around the US and always very pleased. This dealership has major communication problems and realibility issues in the Service Dept. Ron Mortenson

Unless you are local, think twice prior to dealing with these folks. After being unable to reach sales over the phone on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning, I filled out an online inquiry form which prompted a generic e-mail note from the general manager that I promptly replied to. Instead of an e-mail reply with answers to my specific questions, I finally received a phone call from a sales rep late Monday afternoon, then booked the earliest flight available on Thursday. After trying to reach the dealer for 2hrs on Tuesday morning, I was able to speak to a receptionist who promised to have the sales rep return my call after he is done with a customer. I did receive a call after 4pm, notified the rep about my travel plans, arrival time and the need for pickup, then reviewed additional information and photographs provided a few minutes later. On Wednesday, I stopped by the bank to get cash (the only payment option for out-of-staters except for a bank wire), then called the sales rep just to learn that the vehicle was sold the night before to some local pass-byer and he left me a voice message mentioning that (which I have not received). Not to mention that I wasted enough time and several hundred bucks on airfare, I did not even get a chance to look at the car that I have been searching for a while and was serious about purchasing. Apparently, Midwestern and East Coast dealer ethics and integrity standards are different from what these folks have demonstrated -- clearly unacceptable for any dealership (Mercedes in particular). Earlier this year, I was refused a transaction at a MI Ford dealership only because they already had a guy planning to fly from New England 5 days later while still working on financing. I could definitely respect such a commitment. On a positive note, I will never deal with this outfit again: will leave it to the local customers who must be accustomed to this kind of treatment.

Worst experience I have had with a dealership in my life. I called in for a vehicle they had advertised online and was told they would get back to me. When they called me back they told me they could not sell me the vehicle cause the price was too low. So much for the price you see is the price you get advertisement. To make things better they have a little disclaimer at the bottom of every advertisement to get away with CA advertisement law saying they are not responsible for any mistakes on the add.

Haven’t bought a car there (yet) but have my 2015 GLK Diesel serviced there regularly. The service manager Larry is always courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Since my car is out of warranty, I looked into using a smaller privately operated shop but decided against it. If you take good care of a Mercedes, it will take good care of you!

The most helpful service personnel of any car dealership I have ever visited. On one occasion they went far beyond the call of duty to get me back on the road by helping me get new wheels that very day. Another time they were cost conscious and did not put the hard sell on me to fix a small problem. They cost a small amount more than a generic mechanic but they have experts in Mercedes repair who can do things others cannot.

First, I have to say i was hesitating going to this dealer due to the poor reviews i read. Honestly, this was my best car shopping experience so far and this is my fourth car. Michael Martinez the manager was really helpful and professional. I did my research about the car i wanted before i went to MB of Santa Fe and pretty much we made a deal in 5 minutes. Michael and Abigail made this experience great!I also went for service due to an update in the car audio system. I have to say the service people were nice, professional and polite. The service manager reserved a loaner for me so i did not have to wait at the dealership.My PERSONAL experience with this dealership was great! They paid off my old car quick also the trade in offer was more reasonable than Honda of Santa Fe . Definitely, i would buy a car from them again.

Went in this morning to start the process to buy a 4x4 Sprinter Crew. Was told by Robert the salesman that the 4x4 Sprinter is almost non-existent and I they dont have any. When I asked if they could order one, I was told no, they cant get them. I called Mercedes of Albuquerque and was told that they have an allocation for a 4x4 Sprinter Crew (the truck Im looking for) and that I could have it built to my specs and delivered by Christmas. Guess who WON`T get my $64,000? Heres a hint - Mercedes of Santa Fe!

Very knowledgeable staff. Parts have significant markup, but if you have a Mercedes Benz you should be able to afford it. I always enjoyed stopping by and giving them $2,000 to repair my out of warranty MB. They always completed repairs correctly with a high degree of quality.

This place is awesome. They remembered my name and everything about me 6 months after I bought my car and I came in for the first time. They treat you like youre some rich person at a foreign 5 star resort. They always offer you a drink and wash your car for free, one time they even filled up my gas tank for free! Plus the maintenance manager and the salespeople are just nicest people ever!

I wish I had read all the reviews before I made the decision to drive from Albuquerque to look at a vehicle here. I have purchased 4 Mercedes Benz in total, 3 from other Mercedes Benz dealers. I called a few weeks back to inquire about a Certified Preowned C300 that was listed on their website. I explained to the salesman that I had a specific budget in mind and I didn’t want to make the drive unless I could get the vehicle within my budget. He said that he “doesn’t like to discuss pricing until the customer has looked at the vehicle”. I explained that I was very familiar with this particular model and have owned the same model 2 years older. The salesman insisted that I come down to look at the vehicle and didn’t want to discuss price over the phone. When I pressed him he did say that he could work with my budget and that “he had never lost a sale because of price”. I made the trip to test drive the vehicle. Not only was the salesman not willing to negotiate the price, but he tried to dismiss my concern regarding the 3 rims on the vehicle that had significant scrapes and chips in them. The salesman tried to tell me that “this must have happened by one of the lot guys and it wouldn’t cost me that much to have it fixed”. Why would I spend $30k on a vehicle with messed up rims. Waist of my time! Worst experience I have even had at a Mercedes Dealership. Felt more like a used car lot experience.

Not hybrid certified. Closest Mercedes dealer that is is Albuquerque.A year later almost nothing has changed. They are authorized to work on hybrids now. However their service department is horrible. The service manager never answers the phone and even if he does he calls back days later. My father has a 2017 model. The tires lasted 2600 miles. Then the dealer wanted to put the same kind of tires on. We still don’t have the car OVER ONE FLAT TIRE. Do yourself a favor. Go to Albuquerque. Better service all around.

Made an appointment over the phone (which is a ridiculous process as no calls or emails were returned by MB). Waited 3 weeks for appointment only to find out MB documented my vehicle year wrong and they will not service vehicles greater than 10 years old. Poor customer service and poor attention to detail. I would not trust.

Just bought a Certified Pre-Owned GLC 300 last Saturday. Michael Martinez, the manager, and Elias Martinez, our salesperson, went above and beyond to assist us. It was the least stressful experience weve ever had purchasing a car. Also, I had to take it in yesterday for some service and Larry in service was exceptional. They won us over and we plan to buy another car from them in the future. We highly recommend Mercedes of Santa Fe.

Sales staff was easy to deal with and closed the deal efficiently, the problem is they have 1 employee handling 2 dealer sales contracts and good luck getting ahold of her. It is unbelievable how after leaving several messages you still never receive a call back or email. Too many dealers nationwide to deal with Sante Fe Mercedes again. Good luck and good riddens !

Ordered parts form Vivian by VIN number and recived wrong part... unfortunately I installed part confident it was the part for the car but found out later it wasnt. Then I asked Vivian if we could return a part she ordered by VIN and recived negative dead end results. Not EXACTLY the customer service Mercedes should have.

We are on our fourth MB. Ordinarily we get great service from MB dealers. We live in Colorado. While traveling home from Santa Fe this week we stopped in Taos for lunch. I noticed an egg sized bulge in the sidewall of one tire. I did not want to risk driving three hundred plus miles on this tire. I first spoke to the service manager who first told me that they could not get me in for two days and then said maybe they could work us in the next day. I then spoke to the parts department who advised it would be the next day before they could secure the right tire. We were thus looking at being stuck in Santa Fe for one or two days.I then called Discount Tire on Cerrillos Road. Their attitude could not have been more different. Within 15 minutes they ordered a tire from Albuquerque and had a courier arranged to bring it to SF that afternoon. We returned to SF from Taos. Our tire was delivered just as we drove up. Within an hour and a half, they had our new tire mounted and we were on our way back home.In short, Discount Tire cares about thier customers. This dealership could not have cared less if we were stuck in Santa Fe for a couple of days. When you spend six figures on a car, you expect that manufacturer’s dealerships to provide top of the line service. This dealership falls far short of that. Our experience appears to be common as evidenced by the numerous poor reviews posted here.

Then the sales manager wanted to negotiate the price of one key starting at $300. Then, I later discovered other items missing. Please be forewarned and please get full disclosure.

My experience with this Mercedes dealer has been both good and bad, but the bad is what I will describe. The good, in short, was the service department. The bad is the finance department, and the seeming inability to return calls, over and over again. Also, a word of caution, if you buy a maintenance contract be sure you are aware they will not refund any unused portion, even though you have NOT initialed in the box stating you are aware of the specific conditions of the contract, including a non refundable clause. This dealership rarely answers the phone at initial contact and the when one leaves the voicemail do not expect a return call as you will rarely get one. FInance is the absolute worst offender. Except for the service department, this dealership is the least professional I have ever dealt with in at least twenty years of Mercedes ownership. I dont like to write negative reviews, but I read reviews to choose who to do business with and feel my reviews may serve to help others. I sold my Mercedes in order to avoid the 3.5 hours drive to Sante Fe and purchased a GMC instead where there is a more local dealership in Colorado. Customer service matters!! I will send a copy of my review to Mercedes headquarters to perhaps help them to see a need in helping this dealership raise the quality of their service to usual Mercedes dealer levels.

One of the most disappointing experiences Ive had in recent memory. Traded-in two vehicles and purchased an Acura pre-owned vehicle from this dealership. Neither the sales experience nor the financing interactions were even close to being on par with other MB dealerships (MB of Albuquerque, MB of Reno, MB of Walnut Creek) with which Ive done business. The sales process felt as if I was at a used car lot and the GM did little to assuage any minor concerns Id put forth. The finance department was absolutely horrible relative to communication and follow-up as my trade-in vehicles were not paid off in a timely fashion as promised (still waiting) and my purchased vehicle still has its temporary plate with no time frame provided re: delivery of my license plate. Do yourself a favor - avoid this dealership and conduct your business with MB of Albuquerque...youll certainly be glad you did so.

My 2009 CLK 350 fuel pump went out while I was traveling through New Mexico. I broke down in Las Vegas, NM about 50 miles from Santa Fe. Roadside had me towed to this dealership because it was the closest MB dealer. This happened at around 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. I began calling the dealer at that time and after 4 attempts I gave up- NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE....EVER! and nobody calls you back when you leave a message. The next morning, I tried calling again to make sure they had my car, again no answer so I went to the dealership. They were very nice but said they couldnt get to my car for a few days AND the service advisor (manager? the ONLY service rep they have) was off that day. OFF? On a Friday? When you have 1 person in the department, how can they be OFF? Anyway, I was traveling and basically stuck until they fixed my car. I convinced them to at least diagnose the problem that day so I could make other arrangements to get home- 500 miles away. They did and had to order parts and I got a ride home. Fast forward 1 week, I get a call saying my car was ready. Ok great, I made arrangements to fly there and have them pick me up at the airport. I flew in to pick it up and called the dealership when I arrived...surprise... nobody answered the phone. I called an alternate number that I saved from the 1 time they called me and the Parts Manager answered. I told him that I needed a ride from the airport. He said that there was no way for them to come and pick me up because he and the Service Manager were the only two there. I had to explain to him that I had arranged this the week before. He put me on hold where I waited over 10 minutes and finally hung up. I called a cab to take me to the dealership. While waiting for my cab, I received a call from the Service Manager who said he was on his way and would be there in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, he showed up. We finally get to the dealership and I have to wait because the incompetent Parts Manager is helping another customer and has no idea how to work the credit card machine (the customer is using a debit card and this throws him completely out of his mind- I am sure she thought he was an idiot also)...When it is my turn to get my paperwork and keys, the Service Manager tells me it is going to be $1243.00 for repairs to my car. At NO point during this process was a dollar amount ever mentioned to me. (My car is under warranty and I knew this because I had contacted my local dealer prior.) I have to explain to the Service Manager that my car is under warranty and this is a covered repair. He has a dumbfounded look on his face and has me follow him to his office where he looks at another paper and says, yes it is covered, I have to get an authorization.... REALLY?? Just give me my keys and let me get out of here already! I waited for the authorization, signed my new paperwork and he walks me out to my UNWASHED car. He makes a comment like oh looks like it got rained on.... (you had a week notice I was coming and should have washed it that morning) and that he hopes I dont kill him on a survey. Long story short, if you dont mind a complete clown show, take your car to this dealership for service.
