Had an issue with my pilot screws - SMR was super helpful and went the extra mile to find replacements or me. Told me what to do and made it easy. Got my bike running after they got me the right part. So happy cause I had a long road trip the next day. So grateful! Thank you SMR!!!
Husband was willing to pay their price of $50 to place a tire on a rim of a bike after he already purchased a tube from them. They stated they couldn’t do it because it would take time away from their techs, when this was only a three minute job for $50. Horrible customer service. We will never do business again with them. We will also be telling everyone we know how they treat customers. I’m sure there better places In Santa Fe that have more common sense and better customer service skills then this place. Don’t waste your time or only here. They don’t care about running a business correctly.
Great service all around thank you to jason for always helping me with any questions or issues my motorcycle has
SMR is a great place good people very respectful kind and if they dont have what u need they get it amazing to have a place like that for bikes there good at what they do
Great guys! Helped out with a broken part on my sons dirt bike when we were visiting Santa Fe. Very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Thank you SMR for going above and beyond to help out-of-towners!
Took a bike here for some work and the work got finished but it was a couble days later then agreed, service was good and I never had an issue with the work so id recommend!
Fantastic service! I love supporting our local businesses, as long as they do a good job, and SMR has been wonderful for us. Weve taken all four quads to them at different times, and I would highly recommend them. It does take some time, but thats because theyre so busy. Be patient. Its worth it!
They really know their stuff and went above and beyond the work requested to ensure my truck was dialed. Highly recommended! Support your local experts.
Jason and crew are awesome always hooking it up on parts for the quads
Awesome work ethic and repair of my GS rear caliper, today by Jason and staff! Highly recommend!
Jason and Mike have done great work on my 43 yr old bike and have been accurate in their diagnoses of what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. They answer my questions and give good advice. When I get an appointment for service theyre ready for me. The charges are very reasonable and they stand behind their work, always .
I was two days from Santa Fe on a cross-country motorcycle trip when I called. I needed a new tire and an oil change for my bike. They gave me a fair price for both, and made sure that I was in and out quickly so I could be on my way. They went the extra mile and gave me a fuse and replaced a pair of bolts without me asking, and free of charge. Ill hit them up again for another service if I take the southern route on my way back.
Friendly service. Relaxed approach. Fixed my flat tire on the spot and when i decided to change the oil, did that too while i was waiting/talking with them. Will be back.
I have had over 50 bikes since 1965, I have 14 now and just too many to keep running/serviced so I have asked Jason and Mike to work on about half of the bikes I dont work on (I like working on 4 CZs and older bikes and hate working on new ones because it takes so long just to get all the crap off so you can get to what you want to fix) and they do a superb job - some street a and some dirt and one for track days.. I have always been very happy and I can be an extremely demanding person. They are great.Mike Baker
Knowledgeable, fast service, great prices, and they are always willing to work with you. Best and most trustworthy place for miles.
SMR has consistently provided expert service on my motorcycle. They have earned my business again and again. I enthusiastically recommend SMR.
Jason has been working on my scooter for many years.I wouldnt let anybody else touch it.He and Mike are the best.
I needed someone reliable and innovative that could do some custom fabrication to my off road vehicles SMR met and exceeded my expectations and paid close attention to detail a rare find these days. I would recommend them above any shop around!!!
The best. Have been for years!!! Gordy
The best. Having a smaller bike for a year or so (to get back into riding after 40+ years off a bike), I brought it in for a check-out and service prior to selling it. Saw and discussed several bikes with them as I was getting up-to-date on the bikes and discussing the type I was seeking (cruiser). Not only did I get the best and most succinct advice than from anyone else - but I followed up on their recommendation and after putting over 10,000 miles on the bike, I couldn’t be happier. They check out the bike for me every year, and when anything needs doing - the work is top notch. I noticed one review complaining about the time it took to get an appointment - well, that’s because they’re a small shop and THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK!! (There is a reason they’re that busy!) Wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else.
I try to work on my own bike but when I need advice or parts I go to these guys really nice down to earth people and if the time comes that I need work done that I cant do I will definitely go here
Great Place! Honest, Competent, Fair.
Very disappointed. It took almost a month to be able to get an appointment to drop off my bike, was told it would be ready within a week. It has now been there close to a month!! I have had to call twice to see the progress. The first time was 18 days after dropping it off. They said they didnt know and theyd call me back. After two hours..I called back to get the answer that it hadnt been started on but they would start on it that day. Another week went by and I had to call again. I was told it still wasnt completed. They are horrible at communicating with customers and apparently not able to provide service on cycles within a reasonable amount of time. I have since spoken to many people who have had the same experience. In fact, one person said they were told that they could pick up their bike if they didnt want to wait longer!! Completely unacceptable. Lets see if it takes another month and a few more phonecalls to check the status because apparently they are not able to keep in contact with their customers. I would reccomend ANY other motorcycle repair shop in Santa Fe other than this one. Please dont be the next person to have this kind of experience. It has been nerve racking!
They need more technicians to get work out
Got super help from SMR. My 1992 Hondo Nighthawk 750 stalled out in Lamy with electrical issues. I rented a trailer and took it to Santa Fe Motor Sports on Camino Entrada, who said they wouldnt work on it and that I needed to haul the bike to Albuquerque. Then I brought the bike to SMR on Calle La Resolana. Jason immediately identified the problem as a loose battery cable, fixed it, and charged me zero. I will rely on this shop for helpfulness, honesty and competence next time I need a mechanic.
The bold guy(owner i think) is a douche, 3 times i had tried to work with him never a good experience (him only) always a waste of time, older dude has much better customer service and is helpful, i guess id have to keep driving to moto authority( fork seals for 150 all in, smr 200 + parts you do the math) for repairs and santa fe motorsports for parts
Awesome service!
AwesomeGuys are greatHighly recommended
