Love this store when you are looking for deals on seasonal stufd. I found almost everything I needed their rose petals are a little on the pricey side and they dont have a big color option for them. But the things I did buy from there were all great prices.

Bought a frame and double mat for this art piece. Its perfect and all under $40. Also special ordered a canvas frame for a painting. Service was great and the store had a good stock selection of items.

Place is clean but to get assistance when looking for something can be a chore. However, this is during the pandemic and still glad some people are working and have to give them praise for at least trying.

Low on staff due to covid but everyone is always willing to help right away and super friendly.

So many things to look at. Variery of products in different brands, everything for your crafting hobbie, small business or the decoration of your home.Most of the items if not everything is well presented, well stocked which creates a cleaner look for customers to appreciate the product.They could do better at welcoming, acknowledging and approaching customers. This is the second time I walk in and out and not a single approach. Other than that the store is great for what I mentioned in the beginning.

Overall, I do not shop at Michaels. I am a fine artist and it is mostly craft oriented and most stuff from foreign mass production....BUT, that said, decent selection of canvases, brushes, mixed media. I use the Framing once a year. An employee named NOAH was so amazing this last time....oh my gosh, SHE made a trip back absolutely written in stone.Thanks, all great employees♡

Pretty straight forward craft store. Wish their pen section would be better stocked. Usually has nothing over due to theft, more than likely. A bit under staffed too.

I absolutely LOVE Michael’s as a company and I have been a loyal customer for many years. However this specific location has TERRIBLE customer service. I drive all the way from Taos to Santa Fe often to buy things from Michael’s. I have recently tried returning items at this Santa Fe location and was refused because “they didn’t have money in the drawer.” Mind you I attempted my return at the end of the day so being that they are the only location in Santa Fe and they had a full day of service I assumed they would have enough money to return $60. However that was not the case. Both women were very rude and offered no type of solution. So I wasted my time and gas driving from Taos just to be refused my return. All items were brand new and accompanied by original receipt. This isn’t the first time I had a bad experience with customer service here, along with my mother who has been treated poorly by employees here as well. I will continue shopping at Michael’s however I’ll pass right by this one and drive all the way to Albuquerque instead. It’s saddening that people lack basic customer service skills and show no sense of empathy or emotional engagement. It was almost as if I was talking to a computer. No legit reason for refusal, no solution and absolutely no acknowledgment of the fact I’d driven 70 miles from home. If I wasn’t in the customer service industry myself I’d probably stop shopping at Michael’s all together however I have yet to experience these things at other stores just this one.

This is the best Michaels in the state of New Mexico.

The store has a good selection. I would recommend coming if you are looking for a Christmas gift. The employees are always nice and helpful. They have somethings for a good price but sometimes there are better places to go. Still a good place to check out.

I just picked up my custom framed piece and I am very happy with the results! It was a fun and easy process to order the frame, and though it was pretty pricey, the end product looks great and seems be good quality. Just one more reason to love Michaels.

I was looking for Halloween stuff early i was amazed with all the huge selection of beautiful decorations and crafts. The arrangement are not cluttered and thrown together like some stores are. Great sales and prices Highly Recommended!

Disappointed how crowded it was inside with no room to keep 6ft apart. However the cashiers were quick and efficient to get us out. No one counting how many people were coming in or leaving.

I live in Albuquerque and happened to be in Santa Fe for another reason. Stopped by this Michaels store to look around and was pleasantly surprised with the selection in Papercrafts. I tire of our local Michaels having picked over shelves that never seem to get restocked. While there were a few products like this, for the most part the selection was great. I found cardstock that has been out of stock at the ABQ Michaels for 3 weeks. I also forn a nice supply of Ranger Ink products. Overall cleanliness seemed satisfactory, although I didnt observe cart sanitation. Check out staff was pleasant and efficient. Thanks for a nice shopping experience.

Great ideas for projects and other cool items for sale

Its got a lot of a little bit of everything. Everything is really nice. If youre in a hurry and want a quick shopping trip for basic art supplies, home decorating, dried flowers, etc., this is definitely the place to go. If you have a smartphone, make sure you download their app so you can get the coupon savings.

Always find what Im looking for.

I love to paint with acrylics and Michaels always has what I am looking for. They have everything from the low range, up into the hundred dollar range. But the quality of ALL their products is what keeps me coming back. They sell bulk tubes of acrylic paint and HUGE canvases which are what I use for my work, but if you need anything for an art project or crafting, Michaels is your one stop for everything!

Consistent with all every Michaels across the country. Went last at Christmas time and there was a big sale. Stock was pretty decent considering that. WIll definitely go back.

They let you use the restroom!!! That makes it even better, especially at this time....

Its a Michaels, it has decent sales on crafts supplies, and they encourage you to go back by giving you coupons that last for like a week on most of y our receipts.There is good stuff here, but this is not a huge Michaels, so dont expect super obscure stuff and a huge selection. That said, it is better than the local Joanns and though smaller than Hobby Lobby, they also dont have as many questionable business practices.

I dod not make it past the second aisle!!! My husband had to drag me out of this place. Soooo, go!!

Had exactly what I had found online on thr shelf. Easy to locate. Was difficult to use the coupon that wad automatically applied online - had to either download their app or navigate the website

I visited the Michaels Store on Zafarano and I want to say I was very pleased with the service I received from Cat. First off she was so friendly and she helped me find what I was looking for and she got items that were on a top shelf that I could not reach. She also offered to help me out to my vehicle. She went above and beyond. Stores need more people like Cat. Thank you Cat. Also the store is very organized and clean. :)

One of the best craft stores in Santa Fe. Always nice and clean. Well stocked and the customer service is second to none. Reccomend this location as a place to buy arts and crafts.

They have lots and lots of wonderful craft/frame/wedding/candy-making/floral supplies. Lots of decorative things for the holidays, too. Often, it seems like they are short-staffed, and you have to wait a while to checkout.

Like this place a lot. Has a variety if youre looking to do weekend, school or holiday projects. Art supplies tend to be limited in comparison to an art store. Best is their teacher discount with ID and online coupons.

This is my favorite store! The Manager Alina is so helpful and knowledgeable! We shop there several times a week. Monique is our favorite cashier, I think she could locate items in the store blindfolded! This store is always well stocked, organized and clean.

Michaels has always been a favorite in our house but Ive noticed a significant improvement in the organization and overall staff friendliness in the last year or so. I also appreciate the addition of lots of gifts for the season. Makes it easier to not have to go so many places!

I havent been there in a while and I enjoyed my visit. Found lots of interesting stuff and ran into a few friends.

A special thank you to Cynthia who went above and beyond to help me. She had the Rio Rancho store ship a basket up to the Santa Fe store and set aside three other baskets for me. She let me exchange the light baskets I purchased last month for these dark baskets and I got the same good sale price. Thanks to the employees for helping me this busy Monday.

Their framing manager, I think her name was Gina, was the rudet person Ive ever met. Disrespectful and blunt. She smelled like cigarettes and alcohol. I will not be utilizing this service ever again.

This artist works there. These posters made it from Wash (mover got in wreck and destroyed all my belongings). I picked out the frames and the artist re-signed the posters. Marianne Miller. She told me the story and background if these original works. I have found a lot of variety and choices in the frames. Wait until they have a great sale.I have since found a bunch of frames for other art.

The service was awesome. The attendant helped me find what I was looking for although they were out of stock. When I got to the register the same attendant was the cashier and gave me a coupon for free shipping so that I could order the out of stock item online. Great customer service experience.

I just went in looking for a specific color of paint. They didnt have the color I was looking for, but they had a lot of colors that were similar to it. This is a great place to go if you want a wide variety of craft paint colors.
