I am sorry to write this review. I have tried calling Karim 6 times now and he has not returned my call. He took the rug I had bought from him because I was trying a new rug of his ( that he claimed was so much better than the one I had bought) - I asked him to pick up the rug because the color is not right - He has not picked up the rug and he has over $2300 of mine from the original rug that he took back to his store. Since I have given him several chances to return my call and he has not, I am posting this negative review. Now I have to go to Small Claims court because he will not willingly cooperate. I do not trust that the rug he replaced ( that I currently have) is nearly as expensive a rug as the one he took back. I do not trust this business anymore

My favorite store on Canyon Road by far. Great selection of African and Middle Eastern art. The two brothers whom run the shop are highly knowledgable on all the pieces and friendly as well. Check it out when youre in the area.

We brought our clients in for a carved bench that would belong in the landscape we were planning for them. We ended up incorporating an ancient gateway and gate Karim helped us to find.I think our clients are negotiating a package price with at least one rug they fell in love with, too.Win win all around!!!

Everytime Im in town I visit this beautiful shop. The two boys, Mehdi and Malik and their father give me such a warm welcome, I almost see it as my second home whenever Im in Santa Fe. Great furnishings! This shop has completely transformed my life and home!

Kalrm is a marvelous BEING. He is service oriented and sees the beauty in every person who enters his store. I found his mix of actual artifacts (17th & 18th century) and custom constructed reproductions breathtaking . His willingness to help his customers (myself included) whether just building a new home or looking for a unique little gift to be most generous and kind. He also has 2+ acres of warehouse ; surely he can satisfy your search for many comment worthy pieces you will be proud to display in home & office or MEDITATION GAZEBO

Nice variety but Its expensive and also I cant help but feel the stuff would make you look a bit an intrepid explorer... But not having done the exploring to really earn the title.
