I came here to get a hammer and a plier. The staff was extremely helpful in giving the details which isle I can find and I was out within ten minutes. Extremely helpful staff and amazing customer service.

My boyfriend and I needed an extension cord so we went to this location. We noticed one of the employees as we were walking toward to the door was shutting it. My boyfriend politely asked if they were closing. The employee said yes but you can run in and then asked what we needed to get. As he was about to tell the employee what we were looking for to see if it was worth going in. The employee abruptly interrupted him and closed the door in our faces. My boyfriend said well that was incredibly rude! We started walking away and the employee came back out and asked again what we were trying to find. We said forget it what you did was incredibly rude! I will NEVER visit this location if thats the way a customer is treated! I have worked in customer service and I would never do what this rude disrespectful employee did!! 😤 If youre closing just say so and say ya sorry come back tomorrow no big deal. The fact that this employee just acted the way he did was bizarre and completely unnecessary!

This ACE IS BELIEVE IT OR NOT. YOU ARE IN AND OUT IN MINUTES...THEY HAVE A LOT OF STAFF TO HELP AND THE CHECK OUT PROCESS IS GREAT. IT HAS EVERYTHING U COULD EVER NEED... ITS MY GO TO PLACE..,I LOVE IT...U WILL TOO..

In a pinch they were able to come through with fuses for disconnect, ground lug for the transformer and breaker blanks for the panel board. So for the last minute inspection they had what I needed to pass. I paid a bit more but worth it.

Typical Ace Hardware. We dropped in to pick up something we needed but couldnt find it, I dont even remember what it was, it was something obscure.

I entered the store at 5:59 PM with no problem. They close at 6 PM. Cool. When I entered the store there were three employees moving stuff from outside to inside. As I walk towards them they all turned away and walked away. I thought they were supposed to help you and ask you what you needed . I asked one of them where they kept their screw bits for a screw gun. One of them said Aisle 18 and another one went to that aisle, stopped and turned around and asked the other one where are they . There’s supposed to be professionals and know where everything’s at. Not. So I’m looking at the selection of Phillips bits for my screw gun when all of a sudden the lights go out. Somebody had turned off half the lights in the store so I could not see what I was going to purchase. I had one of their products in my hand . I walked over to where I can see the cashiers and ask them kindlywill you please turn the lights back on so I could see. The reply I got was no we are closed. I asked again can you please turn the lights on so I can see what I’m trying to purchase . The reply again was no we are closed . I said so if your Closed are you going to kick me out of here . The person I was talking to his name is Adam said yes because we are closed . I responded with I am almost ready to purchase these Phillips bits in my hand and I held up in the air to show him. I wasn’t quite sure if the ones in my hand or the ones that I wanted. All I needed was 30 more seconds. I looked at Mr. Addam with disgust and promptly threw the item in my hand on the ground and walked out. I will never go back to Ace hardware again. I guess it doesn’t matter about one sale because they’re overpriced anyway. Oh and by the way the only reason why I gave them one star because they let me in the store right before closing. Why they did that and they did not want me to buy anything I have no clue.

Convenient and has most things you need for the home repairs

A fine hardware store. Physically smaller than the big box hardware stores, but with more helpfully folks, and a they carry a broader range of stuff. But by necessity, they stock fewer of each product. There prices are also a bit higher than the big hardware stores as well. On this day I needed 10 of an unusual bit of hardware. It turned out each Ace store stocked only two, so I did a tour of all 5 Ace stores in my area. I got my stuff in an afternoon rather than days or weeks from the internet. A fine place.

A largely satisfactory hardware store. The stock is somewhat limited compared to a giant chain store and the hours are sometimes inconvenient, but its a locally owned store so I cant complain too much

Good wholesome local shop. The staff is good and can direct you to the parts you are looking for. Yes i do recommend them if you would rather not travel to Home Depot.

Staff was all eager to help me as I walked in the door, but when I actually needed help a few minutes later, I had to wait 10 minutes for someone who supposedly was knowledgeable about the product I wanted to purchase. Needless to say, they were not. also they did not seem to care to know about the product as every answer was I dont know

After sitting with my two tiny, incredibly meek rescue dogs for five minutes in the display chairs up front, I was scolded by an employee and told to leave because they were trying to actually sell these chairs . . . . Surely it was not for personal reaons. Hmm . . . . .

I havent been sick in over 25 years and they have the audacity to tell me I cant enter the store without a face mask theyre going to deny me they should at least provide them or have them for sale Ive been shopping there for half of my life Im going to Scarborough from now on you guys lost me and my crew as loyal customers Im closing my account.

I have been doing a kitchen remodel and the Ace store is 5 minutes from my house. Ace has a pretty good collection of items one needs for a remodel at reasonable prices for the convenience. Ace is not going to be competitive with Home Depot on everything but they are a great resource in the neighborhood for a small job or a forgotten part and their location is great on the west side of town. Ace has better prices than ProBuild for most hardware items. I picked up a wheelbarrow from Ace as their store brand was cheaper than the Home Depot equivalent. Generally one gets what one pays for and if one unknowingly buys poor merchandise there is not much to say. It’s never a good idea to buy the cheapest thing available when doing real work as the other reviews here show a lack of knowledge on what they were buying. I found the Ace staff helpful and if one does not know it’s best to ask before purchasing.

Its like a toy store fot adults. The staff knows where every item in the store can be found and can give you tips on how to use the item.

This place is absurd. I have had a bad experience the past two times, but my last trip was the final straw. I picked up a soldering iron from them about 2 hours ago, and when I got home discovered it doesnt work. I thought Id call ahead to see what their exchange policy was like just in case, only to be told that they do not accept returns or exchanges of any tool that has been taken out of the box. So I am stuck with a soldering iron that does not heat up and they get to keep my money. I will never return there, or go to any other Ace again.

I give this place of 1 * the old owners were much better I feel like Im being watched the whole time Im in the store and I dont believe the products are as well as they were before they change their nuts and bolts to a different vendor and I dont care for them I dont believe they have as many options as they had before and the prices went up and I think the new owners kind of rude

Nice, helpful people here. The stores a little crowded, but I found everything I needed for a minor garden construction project. But where this store really sets itself apart is the checkout card readers. Instead of some boring, regular pinpad, they had iPad minis!!! The future has arrived.
