I am a drywall contractor who lives in the Santa Cruz area. I avoid graniterock for a couple of reasons. First of all, they are not a complete drywall supply, they just dont have the stuff I need most of the time. Secondly they are way overpriced compared to a place like FBM in San Jose. Thirdly, there is almost a hostile vibe from the counter people. Its like theyre always in a bad mood and theyre irritated having to deal with you. Needless to say, I only go there when I absolutely have to.
