All the staff were friendly and helpful. They are right near the pier and the boardwalk. Really good pricing. They have pedal and electric assisted bikes. We rented the tandem bike and rode down West Cliff drive. Every customer renting or returning a bike was happy and pleased during the three times we were there.

We rented two bicycles here and it only took about 5 minutes to get out the door. We were given good directions to get from the shop to the trail along the water. The ride was pleasant and the fog had cleared before we got back. What an enjoyable way to spend an hour.

Friendly staff. Rented bikes here twice and road the beautiful and easy West Cliff path.

Super nice, trustworthy, reasonably priced, and skilled! My wife and I took two new out-of-a-box assembled bikes to Pacific Ave Cycles and Shane tuned them up beautifully and they ride so smooth! We highly recommend this shop for all of your bike service needs.

Arrived around 3:15 for bike rentals. We quickly drew up the payment information, picked out our bikes and helmets, and sized them up. I knew we would only have about an hour since the bikes have to be back by 4:30, but that left plenty of time to head down to West Cliff Drive for a nice leisurely ride down to Natural Bridges Sate Beach Overlook. The bikes were all brand new since they regularly turn over their inventory and the staff was extremely friendly. If I make it back to Santa Cruz, I would definitely look at renting again from these guys. Top notch service.

Awesome bike shop. Dan is the man! Definitely bringing my bike here from now on. They stayed open late for me to put air in my tire plus tighten my rear hub, i highly recommend!

After a few bad (and expensive) experiences at my usual LBS that I won’t name, I decided to try out Pacific Ave Cycles for MTB service. Dan was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. This is absolutely my new LBS.

My bike blew out its bottom bracket near the boardwalk so I called in and Dan took my bike in right then, and had it back out to me within a couple of hours. Super friendly and affordable. This is where I’m taking my bike for service from now on.

For so many reasons I give this establishment & its workers 10 stars. I rolled in & they helped me with not only replacing a tire but little additional details that wouldve rendered my bike a troublesome ride. I also lost my credit card- I returned, & they helped me search & spend endless minutes searching video footage as well. Unbelievable customer service & work.

We stopped through on our bicycle tour of the Pacific Coast and the owner Daniel was extremely helpful. He even offered to call other nearby bike shop mechanics for us to get us back on the road quicker. He seems to run an honest shop that cares about cyclists rather than nickel and diming them.

Places like this are what make Santa Cruz a beautiful place. Bike repairs and rentals - this is the spot.
