Totally worth the hype!! Weve never had anything like this. The way they make their mixed coffees is a whole experience. Theres a smell tied to every drink such as smoked wood and rosemary or toasted blackberries... the mix of unique flavors plus the smell makes for the perfect taste combo. We highly recommend it!

We only came in for a coffee, but the beautiful baked lemon cheesecake was too good to pass up! The service was excellent. The staff members are quite nice and frequently helpful. Theyre really quick to answer. I believe we will return to taste the different cakes and coffee choices on offer! Thank you very much!

It has been a long time that a coffee shop amazed me. Unique flavors and best of all innovative presentation of specialty coffee drinks. It is pricey but if you are into coffee it is worth to give it a try. We tried four different specialty drinks and all were very well done.

If you’re a college student willing to hash out a little extra for a cup of coffee then you’re at the right place. Cajé employees were very nice and made really great drinks. I ordered a large chai tea latte and it was really really good, however a bit pricey. This is a great place to come with friends or by yourself to get some work done.

I’m not a coffee person and the employees were super helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the Bella Rose which is superb. Next time I’m in Santa Barbara I’ll definitely be stopping back in

We hit five coffee roasters in the downtown area to sample espressos. This place came in second in our opinion, really nice staff and a nice place to hang out. I dont remember the name of the bean but the picture of the bag in this post is the one they were brewing at the time.

Wow, expensive, but fun place to have a designer coffee drink. Very well equipped staff of college students. The matcha tea with rose petals lined along the exterior of the glass is only available in house. It was watered down and not worth the $6.00. Caje has various locations around town and lots of shared outdoor seating. The simple breakfast specialties are selfie worthy for photography and appeases to the health conscious and hip crowd.

I’m sitting outside on a picnic bench table enjoying the best americano coffee I have ever tried in my life! It’s absolutely tasty, and my husband just got a refreshing summer tea with an avocado bagel 🥯.A really good place to start the day out of pretension and full of good energy and nice people.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! This place (any of their 4 fantastic locations) has become the go-to spot for all of my girl’s coffee dates, study hours, relaxation time, and, let’s be honest, Instagram worthy photoshoots. Between the stylish backdrops, fireplaces, fountains, dog friendly spaces, and comfy couches, there isn’t another coffee place in town I would more highly recommend. The drinks are irresistible. Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had. If you don’t already- follow their IG to see pictures of how they create each one. My words can’t do them justice. (My favorite is served on top of smoking wood chips that make the coffee taste like a campfire :o) AND bonus! If you’re lucky enough to meet Amber and Ryan- the two lovely owners, you’ll enjoy your time all the more. Can’t say enough positive things. Highly recommend

The Burnout signature coffee is drink is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Came here to do some school work and the atmosphere is great. And they have accessible plugs at the tables, which is fantastic

This place doesn’t even deserve the one star. the girls weren’t nice whatsoever. gave major attitude + dirty looks. my drinks has no taste. the service was so terrible that they made mandatory 17% tips. also, you’ll be paying a COVID fee without a notice. be aware of these scam artists.

The acai bowls are awesome. But attention to safety was not. No social distancing and no enforcement of masks. There was a big line outside and someone walked right in with no mask.

Looking for the best tasting,looking, photo op coffee shop? This is it right here. We drove from Long Beach, 1.5 hours to Santa Barbara and saw this was the place to start your day. It definitely did not disappoint. The coffee tastes amazing.The paninis are also quite good..The location is pretty good in my opinion. There is street parking and I did not have problems finding parking across the street.The staff is wonderful. Everyone very nice and welcoming.The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because you will notice that if you come in closer to brunch 10am-12pm, some paninis are not AS fresh tasting as if they were in the early morning. It is understandable though, as in any other restaurant, not a killer whatsoever.Definitely will return soon. Make sure to stop by if you are in the area and then follow our vlogs on instagram @thehungrynomadzPSA: make sure you go to the right Caje lol. There is like 3 in the city i think.

I’m so happy I discovered this place. They have beautiful drinks, but honestly I love a good cold brew and they make their own almond milk and it’s to die for.

Coffee is very good, and I love their green ethic. The ambience is unique and very pleasant. It is quite expensive however, and the half dozen or so times Ive been there the staff has been very cool, and not very patient even when no line. I tried once asking about the coffee cocktails, and I got little response and even less affect.

I stopped in for a post-run coffee and breakfast; I’m glad I decided to try a new place and ended up here! I didn’t get a fancy drink, only the drip coffee, but I look forward to going back to try one of their other creations! The avocado toast - I got the “fancy toast” - was phenomenal. If you’re in a hurry or need to take your beverage to go, bring your own to-go cup; they only have regular mugs that they will “loan” to you for $2 to be returned if you take it out of the shop. I love that they take initiative to be environmentally friendly; it also encourages one to sit and enjoy the ambiance for a few minutes.

What a little gem of a place. I have only lived in Santa Barbara for a year and have been looking for a place like this. I have tried about a half dozen other spots and this place is great in the morning to get some work done and have a great coffee or breakfast. Good WiFi and plug in options. Very comfortable.

I went here while I was hanging out at UCSB and had the best breakfast! The smoothie was amazing and the bagel was delicious. I highly recommend to anyone in the area! The staff was super friendly too and I would love to come back!

Great New place. Very politically correct so dont expect a free paper (even recyclable paper) takeout cup. $2 for the cup to go! Also didnt find stirring sticks. No bagels at midday. But the decor was new, modern and clean. Lots of places to sit. It was busy! And bottom line the latte was rich and creamy... With beautiful latte art on top!PS Only Stevia and raw sugar....seems Mayor Bloombergs Big Gulp Brother has already visited! 😉

Baristas were knowledgeable, kind, and clearly enthusiastic about coffee. I had a drip roast and was able to try both their Columbian and Guatemalan roast. A side by side comparison allowed me for the first time to discover the differences between the two types. The drinks are gorgeous. Laid back vibe with mellow music. I am now WIDE AWAKE! ^^

The place is very cozy and comfortable. The barista was very knowledgeable and answer my questions with detail. If you want something smooth and not overly sweet Bella Rose is the way to go! If u want an amazing cup of coffee, get the Columbia roast.

Creative coffee cocktails! Im no coffee drinker, and most coffee just taste burnt to me but I sampled 3 of their drinks and they tasted great. The food there was also excellent! The avocado toast and the Chorizo Madelines were very tasty. Great place to sit and relax with a nice atmosphere with a few friends. Free WiFi and great people.

Beautiful coffee shop with a creative menu.This is definitely a premium experience - the menus are leather-bound and they have everything from espresso to cold brew to coffee cocktails. Yes, you heard that right.The baristas were welcoming and friendly, happy to make suggestions and patient.I decided to go for a chai latte. It was on the sweeter side - not syrupy sweet but not super spiced either. A nice balance. The perfect size and had a beautiful foam top that held up and was super smooth. My companions got an iced tea and The Twist, which is a cold brew cocktail with a scorched twist of blood orange and foam on top. I do kind of wish Id looked more closely and seen the Bela Rose on the menu, that sounds right up my street. Something for next time!The decor is lovely, kinda rustic chic with nice details and hanging plants. As with many places in Downtown SB, there are some other buildings through the back and the bathrooms are shared in the back garden area.The only downside for me was the seating arrangement. There are some 2-4 tops up front but there were lots of people working on their laptops, so we grabbed seats at a high top table at the back. I imagine these are better for bar service hours - the ground is uneven and on top of that, my stool was super wobbly, so it was a bit of a balancing act.Its rare to see a coffee shop in a crowded market do something so unique. Well worth a visit.

I can say that absolutely without a doubt hands down this is my favorite coffee shop especially in Santa Barbara just the ambiance alone its absolutely great but the quality of the drinks here are on another level I got a matcha drink there they call it the Bella Rose (matcha latte) And it is out of this world I also like that they do milk substitutions but just the attention to quality even with the design of the drink shows a lot of attention and care one thing I will say is that they do not make drinks to go they do not offer to go cups so definitely if youre going to go here make sure you give yourself some time to sit and enjoy your drink it sucks that I dont live around here because I would be there all the time if youre in this area dont mess around you got to check this place out you will not be disappointed
