I love to visit when I come by Santa Barbara. Not as cheap as getting items online on sale but I like to support local shops.

This is a great store with a lot of inventory. I went I. To browse around for some water colors and found a nice selection. They also have a large kids section with very fair prices. I was surprised that they kept the prices low. And grateful!

One of the best art stores Ive ever been to and definitely the best one in the Santa Barbara area. Amazing selection of everything from more affordable to professional quality supplies for every medium.Come here if youre looking to draw, paint, print, sculpt, frame, or anything else essentially and youll be in good hands regardless of experience level as the staff are very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about art and the supplies they stock. The employees are always quick to help but also great about letting customers take their time browsing, which is nice since its easy to lose track of time looking at everything!All in all one of my favorite spots in SB and a business worth supporting.

Great and comprehensive local arts store. Lots of the supplies are less expensive than I find them online. And its amazing just to wander the aisles and see whats available.

High quality art supplies at very reasonable prices, ranging from paints, pencils, inks, framing, and canvas for the serious artist to tie dye and crafts perfect for kids. The store had extremely friendly staff and the location was easy to find. One thing to note, you might have to park on a little bit away, this is a busy stretch of town.

This place was awesome. We showed up and said, we know nothing but would like to spend the afternoon following Bob Ross and drinking. Help. They set us up with just as much as we needed and were very encouraging. Will be back.

Always love this local staple, there is no better art store in Santa Barbara for basic supplies to your more specialized medium and the tools that go with it. The staff is great and more than helpful when I have been there, but they will also give you your space and let you browse around and do your thing. Now I know that they have a area in the back of the store that does framing which I have no idea about the quality or price so just a review of art supplies and staff

What a find! I went to store today trying to solve a difficult challenge (bleach stains on a suede jacket). The person who helped me was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Best of all, she pointed me towards a group of water based markers that fixed my problem. The store is packed with tons of interesting supplies. I could easily spend hours browsing around. Regardless, it was the customer service that shone. My experience today was a reminder of a time long ago when human interaction was integral. What a pleasure. Store is a resource to be supported.

I am still exploring this place, but they definitely have a good selection. As in any art store, some of the items are pricey, but there are bargains to be found. Paying attention to sales seems to be key- which is how they get you to come back, right?

I love this hidden gem. If you are an artist, this place has the media you need to express yourself. Manuel, the manager, and his team are very friendly and helpful. They also have artists who do live pairings in the windows.

The art store along state has quite a large selection. All of the art is fairly well organized and they have a large variety of selection. The facility itself is a bit industrial feeling with concrete floors and wide tall ceilings. The staff is fairly nice, if a little laid back and over all I was happy with my shopping.

Unique, choice filled, utter temptation store for professional to budding artists. Knowledgeable artistic staff, great selection, discounts for students. You can lose yourself in this garden of possibilities.
