Surprisingly friendly staff. I was expecting a rude experience similar to the El Camino location and was straight up stunned to be greeted by a friendly employee who pleasantly asked how they could help me. Whoa. Not at all like the other location.This spot is not as close to me, and it was pretty busy. But the parking lot was easier to navigate and the staff was pleasant and helpful! I think I’ve found my new UPS store.
I dropped off a USPS package about 2 weeks ago and now it is lost. The store employees claim that they have daily pickup from USPS, however, they have no system in place to confirm that my package was placed in the correct bin by their employees and or picked up by USPS. This store does not know what USPS office picks up their mail and simply say that theres nothing that they can do to help me. I do want to say they are being kind but of no real help when trying to help me search for my missing package. Just a heads up if you plan on using their services. I will continue to search and submit a claim and official business review.Update: The package showed up at my door today, about 15 days after it went missing. Ive changed my rating as well because I am happy now that my package showed up. I do not recommend you to drop off USPS packages at UPS...and thats the lesson to learn here.
They were pretty fast and helpful. The clerk helped me with my package and i was out in no time. Quick and easy, no problems and i go here a lot

Pretty easy to get amazon returns done here and they will box and label prior to shipping. This service sure takes the edge off of ordering items online and still be able to return if defective or incorrect. Only had one issue with a very slow employee ( think DMV worker flash in Zootopia). Other than that all was well.
Poor management. Staff is OK. Dropped off package today but will never be back at this place.
An excellent operation that is a mother and 2 daughters working in harmony, efficiently, smoothly. They packaged my screenplays over a 2 day period in such a wonderful fashion.
I had to come to this UPS store after being turned away from a different store. When I arrived there was a line out the door but regardless, the lady inside was working with a smile on her face even though she was alone. Its nice to know that even though we are in a crisis, people are still kind to each other. Thank you 4th Street UPS for quick and friendly service.

I have had many good experiences at this store. Ive read a few of the other bad reviews, so I thought I should add to the good ones.I have had a mailbox here for 4 months. The staff is always very nice and and accommodating. I just renewed for a year because of my satisfaction. Someone sent me mail without my box number, and I emailed them in the morning. They confirmed the arrival via email that day! This is incredible customer service! It seems the bad reviews were a bit sensitive, because these guys are pretty reasonable. Thank you for your dedicated service!

Thanks again Patrick, appreciate all your help!Long Review: I was delayed in writing this review but felt it was worth coming back to acknowledge the EXCELLENT service that I received from this location and the owner Patrick in particular. I had an obnoxiously large item that I was shipping, right after the holidays, that I also needed packaged. Not really thinking about my timing and the amount of packages that they have to process to ship back as returns after Christmas, I decided I would stroll in on my lunch break to get a quote for shipping and packaging. They were incredibly busy, but Patrick took the time to make sure I was taken care of. The man was literally breaking a sweat running around helping everyone and he still spent a solid 15 minutes with my package. He had to tape multiple boxes together, but Im pretty sure you could have dropped by 65 pound plastic cased instrument off a building and had it not break by the time he was done with it. That alone was worth the 5 star review. On top of that, there were a few unreasonable people that came in (the type of people that just cut in front of everyone else only to berate the staff for something that is out of their control ie: an issue with UPS policy and not having anything to do with his store in particular) and I was encouraged by the professionalism he showed in dealing with their issues. I think if you take a look at the responses to his negative reviews on this page, youll get an idea of the sort of things he has to deal with on a day to day basis, and for the attention to detail he provides at his business.
In total I have had a box here for about 7 years. Patrick and his staff are extremely nice to me as I Im sure they are to all of their customers. I have very routine needs I receive packages there and I drop off packages. I only ship UPS items at Patricks location. Thats who he represents and he does a fantastic job with it. Patrick is very conscientious and it trickles down to his staff. His location is extremely neat and well organized I have great faith in Patrick and would recommend this location to anybody. It is very close to both the 5 and 55 freeways as well as being on the border of Tustin and Santa Ana. Job well done Patrick!
Friendly, genuine staff, clean store, and good service!Having worked for UPS stores in the past (7 years total), I went to this location because they had the highest review score. They deserve it.The store is well maintained, clean, and the packaging service was as expected. Ive seen other stores raise prices unnecessarily, Patrick (the owner - yes, also my name too) doesnt do this. This integrity paired with his & his teams genuine customer service makes people feel welcome and valued. At the end of the day, that is what separates businesses like this from the rest. Keep it up!

Ive been a paying patron at this store for awhile now and on a few of these occasions Ive had the opportunity to witness a gentleman named Patrick in action. He has an unusual cadence with customers and for whatever reason seems to have an axe to grind. Ive seen him argue over tape, insurance, and now today with me over nothing.This morning, I arrived at the UPS store at 9am in hopes of getting a document notarized. Patrick asked me what state the document was being sent to and I fired back California at first instinct, not realizing why he was asking. This would have been an opportune time for Patrick to explain that he couldnt notarize on my document, but would have to add an adjunct page for specifically for CA. This would have been instructive and valuable.Instead, we got near the end, and I let Patrick know I needed to provide this document to the State of New York. He refused to notarize it, as if I had lied to him or something. I simply wasnt up to speed on the context of his question. I run a CA business, that is under the oversight of the SEC and the CA DBO. Patrick rudely told me he was going to pass on my business, and that I should leave. I told him whatever just happened, he was as sensitive as a flower.I found out Patrick is the owner of this franchise, which makes his behavior on all of these occasions even more peculiar. Needless to say, he wont be getting my business, or my companys business any longer. Too many other quality, friendly options in the immediate area.Good luck!
I have used this store for an occasional outgoing shipment, and have had a mailbox here for over 3 years now. I have to say Ive always loved how Ive been treated here, theyre always efficient but friendly, especially Patrick. They have a great attitude here, great store!

Rude staff. Made me pay for a roll of tape just to close up my box and put a packing label on. Will never return to this store.Edit for Store Owner: Regardless of my attitude you did not display yourself as a good manager or store owner. Also, I left facts out because I did not want to make this bigger than it was but apparently YOU DO. Also, you had a hissy fit after I put money on the counter AND THEN you gave me the roll of tape for free. So yes, at first you made me pay for the roll of tape and then changed your mind last minute because of your lack of customer service skills. You were not courteous at the start and if you had been and explained the situation of the tape then I wouldnt have gotten upset. But you didnt and you let my attitude get to you (Not a quality Store Owners should have) and then perpetuated the scene with your rudeness. Also, saying I had a tantrum is childish, I was upset and vocalized my opinion. Having a tantrum is what you did before I left the store and what you are doing right now by letting this get under your skin. I have a right to my review of your store and by commenting back with your side of the story is such a unprofessional way of conducting your business that I do not need to show you the hypocrisy of your words. If you really care about your franchise then maybe some things need to change and you need to approach your customers with a little more customer service, regardless of their attitudes. You run a business, Sir, and if you cannot appease your customers or help them with minor problems (which could be easily fixed) then perhaps you are in the wrong business. I understand that this is your business but it wont be in the future if you continue operating your store and treating customers like you do.
Horrible customer service I wouldnt recommend it I went in there to try to open a mailbox. Even though I had all the documents the young lady required she still managed to find a reason as to why she could not help me open this mailbox from what I understand her manager was not there to tell her which mailbox were available so the past 30 minutes of filling out paperwork and making copies and signing signatures right around 7 oclock when all other UPS stores close she let me know that she could not help me out.
BEWAREI dropped off a usps package to go out the following day. It was never scanned at the storeand seems to have just disappeared. My emails went unanswered and when I phoned I was told I was simply out of luck. As if it happens all the time.With all this scanner technology how does a package just vanish into thin air?I wont be doing business there again

Only UPS store I can count on. The owner here is a genuinely good guy. Very helpful and quick to have my product shipped so I can get back to business. Everytime I stop by another UPS store.. I remember why I always choose this location.
Have to agree with the other reviewer about the manager. No customer service skills whatsoever. Complained about me wanting to use a card for some prints because it would cost him too much in fees. I left. So, the $0.50 in credit card fees just lost him potential business in the future since, even though this place is closer, FedEx Office is way better for business and shipping needs with much better customer service.

I had a valuable Boehm statue packed and shipped from this UPS store. The owner has been negligent responding to my calls on the insurance claim. Now I have learned he lied on the insurance report. It has been 8 months of excuses. I will never use UPS again

Our 2 year old ran in here and hid behind the printer. When my wife went in there to get him the woman there told her to get out of their store and to go play hide and seek somewhere else. Very rude employees. I used to ship there a few times a week. Now ill drive further to avoid rude people.
WOW !!!!! i am finding it hard to believe anyone getting bad service from this location ....but you gatta love sensitive men ..... maybe you guys should join a womans sewing club ...or perhaps the battered womans shelter for some relief ....i personally have had nothing but great 5 star service from this location in particular the owner of the store, patrick has always been pleasant and helpful i use this store a couple of times a week and i love his sense of humor, i look forward to going there he always makes me laugh, it sounds as if someone was having a bad day when writing there reviews about this store, anyway 5 stars from me ........ gary s
Since the store was sold the customer service has gone down hill. I just stopped by with nine packages and the guy at the counter could not help me. He just gave me a blank look.
