Purchased a battery for my old Mac from UBatteries.It fits perfectly well into my 2008 MacBook 13 and color is the same as computer. Got it over a month ago and is maintaining a good charge so far. Battery is a lot lighter than the original aluminum battery and includes 4 Led indicator lights for battery life. Delivery was quick as promised. Overall, very good value for your money. Im very pleased with the product and the vendor.

I ordered a battery through Amazon, and when the first replacement arrived it would not charge past 66%. I contacted their customer service and they immediately sent a second battery. After using the second battery for a couple weeks the laptop was unable to read that there was a battery, and required a connection through the AC adapter in order for it to power on. I switched the second battery for the factory battery that came with the laptop, and the laptop worked properly again.If you are looking for a replacement battery, I highly recommend purchasing it through a reputable company. There seems to be quality control issues with UBatteries.

Seriously poor customer service... and loose quality assurance/quality control.The battery I purchased for my HP laptop was manufactured such that it was loose when locked in place- basically the little tab on the battery that the latching mechanism locks on to was slightly lower than the original battery. On my computer, it caused shut downs due to the battery disconnecting. I suspect it could also cause the non-charging issue others have encountered with UBatteries. The same exact thing happened when they sent me a second battery. I did measure the difference between the original battery tabs and those on the UBattery- and sent them a video explaining the issue- in good faith.Up until this point all was good- small manufacturing defects are understandable- but what is not understandable is poor customer service when dealing with a manufacturing defect. When I reported the difference between the batteries to Ubatteries customer service they offered me an alternative battery- but I would have to pay to have it shipped to me.... Okay- shipping of the original faulty device was already taken care of by me- but now they wanted ME to pay to have a replacement sent to me? On top of that, they wanted me to go out and spend additional time, travel and money to get additional shipping supplies because they told me the packaging they originally sent me could not be used. The customer service person also refused to give me their Managers contact info when requested.I am someone who rarely complains, I will say that Amazon Customer service was phenomenal- I wish I had been dealing directly with Amazon rather than this third party seller.

I received my order last night, so I installed in my hp laptop and did a full charge on the new battery and went through a stress test for 12 hours, it remained at 75% after two hours of use which is very good for a 6 cell battery. It fits perfectly in my laptop and seems to be recently manufactured .Im very satisfied with the quality and price.

Despite describing the battery as fitting a Sony VGN-SX45p laptop, and listing it so on the invoice, it didnt fit. I ended up paying about $20 to get a refund on $60.00.
