Phenomenal service. I accidentally spilt my drink and all the employees were so kind about it and even offered to remake my drink even though it wasn’t that empty from the spill. Highly recommend. Greeted everyone who walked in. Also their coffee and food is delicious (way better than other coffee places)

Thankful for the manager who was working the day I visited (10/9/2021). I had been saving the full CBTL punch cards, and finally had a chance to use them as I was visiting OC.All the other CBTL locations I visited or called would not accept the punch cards anymore, but this Santa Ana location did.In fact, I had over 5 full punch cards to use up and was relieved when the manager stated it was ok for me to hand them out for other customers to redeem.CBTL no longer exists in the bay area, only in SoCal, so to be able to use the free drink cards, was a relief, especially since so much $$$ went into filling up those punch cards/loyalty rewards.The only down part of my order was that 4 people who came in after me & ordered after me, received their orders before I did and left. I thought it was inconsiderate to leave my almost ready to serve drink on the counter, and serve the customers behind me first. I watched as the manager picked up the container that had my drink ingredients in it and place it on the blender, it took all of 30 secs for it to be blended before the finished product was handed to me. No apology was given for the mishap. The girl, just discounted my waiting and the order that the drink orders came in.It was an unfortunate surprise after I let so many other customers go ahead of me AND they all received free drinks, b/c of me. Thus the 4 stars and not 5.

I went in today for an iced vanilla latte and the cashier 1st, didn’t greet me but greeted all the other customers that came in after me. 2nd she didn’t pay attention to me while I inserted my card to pay because she was so busy doing other things behind the counter, (my debit card was waiting to go through because of her). Lastly, she didn’t hand me my receipt! While I was there standing, waiting for the receipt to come out, she was to busy rearranging things behind the counter, I ended up walking away from the counter since I felt like the other customers were just staring at me… anyway, I won’t be back :/

Super little coffee shop, quirky, and cozy! They have good coffee, nice scones, cakes, and delicious homemade soups. The staff were lovely and friendly and welcomed us and our little dog, who enjoyed her biscuits. There is plenty of seating at the back and upstairs too, and the prices are very reasonable for good quality food and coffee. A must try!

I absolutely love studying in your establishment while drinking coffee. I was blown away by the flavor of your mochaccino and cake.

There was a wide variety of choices, and by the time we made our way through sandwiches and scones, we were too full of desserts, luckily, the staff were well prepared for this and able to have takeaway boxes! All and all, a lovely coffee, and were certainly looking to come back somewhere. Thank you very much!

I love to stay here and just let time pass while sitting on their comfortable couch and enjoying a good cup of my favorite Frappuccino after a tiring day of work. Staffs here are all friendly, and they are all smiling while they greet you. I will surely come back again and recommend to all of my friends who love coffee!

As with every other coffee shop Ive been to, this coffee has an elegant and rustic atmosphere. They taste better than other shops in the city with their coffee. Before leaving for work, I still buy my morning coffee here. I still crave their muffins and coffee! They have a much cheaper price than any coffee shop in town. Ah, the best!

I dropped by the Santa Ana Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Monday, December 9th at around 3pm. I really needed to use the restroom, and that’s where I went before placing my order. The door was locked and the barista told me that the bathroom was for paying customers only. I informed her that I planned on buying something as soon as I used the facilites, and she rudely shot back something along the lines of “well you have to buy something before I let you in.” I was shocked at the suspicion and lack of courtesy with which I was treated, and even though I was bursting at the seams, I left immediately to spend my money at a nearby establishment. How ironic that the word “grateful” is plastered across their front door, because they do not show gratitude to their customers. This is a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf that I will not be visiting again.

I would have given it 4 stars but when. I went it was a little dirty. This is a good old fashioned coffee shop. Its geared more towards the older more mature crowd. But some of the youngsters like to hang out with us, I dont blame them. (Old people rule!!) Great location and good prices makes it a winner. Just clean it up a bit and make it so you have to be at least 50 to get in. And what happens at the coffee bean stays at the coffee bean.

Employees are always super friendly. I’ve had the opportunity of ordering a large water without getting my usual coffee when the Barista was slammed and he didn’t give any huffs and puffs. Or say give me a minute. That’s always a bonus in my eyes.

We came in and requested a Chamomile Tea with steamed coconut milk. Didnt taste good, too much water. Fortunately, Robin, our server, provided another Chamomile Tea with ONLY steamed coconut milk. My taste buds were ecstatic by the rich, creamy taste. Thank you, Robin!!!!

Great vibe even better cookies and cream ice blended drink. I recommend making it ultimate by adding chocolate covered espresso beans for that wonderful crunchy texture it adds to the drink. The cashier was very pleasant and a great pastry selection even though a came by at 7:00pm. If it were up to customer service alone, i would pick them over starbucks any day!

It is a cool place to get some really good coffee. While that is a good thing, there is a long line and no seating. After walking around up and down Valencia, I was looking forward to a nice cup and taking a breather but there was not an empty chair anywhere.

First time going to the coffee bean and it was a pleasant experience. Was greeted with a smile by the cashier and she was very helpful. I am definitely going back again.

I stumbled upon this place on Instagram and wanted to give it a try myself. I asked for a recommendation on iced coffees and was introduced to the New Orleans Iced Coffee. To be quite honest, I do not think it was an impressive drink for my taste. I did not taste any signature flavor from it, plus it was sort of watered down.

Great Coffee Bean shop! Of course their coffee drinks are WAY better than well...you know who, Starbucks! Lol The staff are super friendly and made me feel comfortable even though I was there setting up shop working. I will say the internet isn’t that strong there, but I didn’t care...I used my hot spot. (It would be great of that could be improved) Other than that...regardless of that, they still deserve 5 stars! There’s free parking and I will for sure be back!

I love the coffee bean cold drinks the hot ones Im not so found of they have really good pastries better than other places. What I really love about this place is the black forest frappe it is my favorite drink. The employees are friendly and every time I have been here its not crowded.

I go here regularly to get some work done. Its usually quiet and they always get my drink right.

The changes are good. Management has cleaned out the Deadwood and new workers are a dream.Drinks are better. Timing is better. Space has been reconfigured and much easier to use .

I like to grab an iced coffee here and get all hopped up for a trip through Mothers Market next door. Parking is tight but available, and the vibe in the shopping center is uncharacteristically hip for the neighborhood. The staff is friendlier than Starbucks and the coffee is top notch. Its quiet inside but theres always a few coffee shop professionals enjoying the free wi-fi. Its cozy, I like this place.

Often late opening, especially the weekend. Went this morning at 05:30 which is the stated opening time and it was closed. Staff were inside getting ready. When it finally did open, not even asorry orange explanation. Very frosty service. Felt uncomfortable in there, so had my coffee and bagel, then left as soon as I could. Disappointing.

Wifi non-existent but they have large tables and a pretty chill vibe. Staff is friendly and nitro brew is delicious as always.
