The coffee shop was extremely well-organized and clean! Im glad my acquaintance told me about your large and lovely business. When I entered the store, the personnel greeted me with a gorgeous smile. I also noticed that if you are a student, the location is pretty useful for holding a meeting and conducting research. What a fantastic location, boys!

What a cool lowkey but super spacious coffee shop in downtown Santa Ana. I ordered the Maple Latte with Oat Milk to-go and a slice of banana bread. Both items were delicious and I cant wait to return. The cashier was really friendly and there was just a nice vibe about the place. Theres a massive patio outside so I cant wait to come back. This place is worth a visit! I stopped by early Thursday morning and it was super calm and quiet with good music. Perfect place for personal time or to meet with a colleague or friend.

Finding a coffeeshop with spacious sitting area is not always easy. This branch of Hidden House coffee has a great outdoor sitting area with tables spaced out for social and physical distancing. Hidden House coffee is one of the best in Orange County. This was our first time visiting Santa Ana location and we were thrilled by the service, quality coffee and cool vibes the place gives. We also order our in house use coffee beans from Hidden House. They have the freshest and most aromatic coffee roast.

The most respectable coffee shop in my neighborhood. I never expected this location to hold such significance for me. Their coffee tasted just as it did back then. I valued their services because they had not changed in a long time. It was definitely worth the money! The interior is stunning from the outside to the inside. Excellent pricing and customer service!

Hidden gem (maybe not so hidden but it rhymes) in the Santa Ana neighborhood, away from the downtown area! Great art house style coffee house. Note, at the time I visited there was no decaf espresso available. Also parking is a bit confusing. There is a parking lot accessible from a side street but it is signed that it is private parking only. However I did see several people going to the coffee house park there.

Founded in 2010, and since expanded from San Juan Capistrano to Santa Ana, Hidden House Coffee is no longer so secret, though the Café inside a 1914 brick warehouse retains an intimate feeling where locals gather to talk, sip and eat in front of an 18 Kilogram capacity roaster.A passion project from owner Ben Briggs, Hidden House’s expansion from what some consider the oldest street in California a calculated move targeting new clientele plus increased output, it is along East Santa Ana Boulevard that guests will find the 2,400-square-foot space surrounding a central bar with outside patio and on-site bakery near opposing doors.Urban in location but vintage by appearance, brick and concrete softened by foliage, it is once seating is secured that most make their way to room’s center, baristas either buzzed or flighty but extremely laid back while detailing the flavor profiles of several roasts offered as Espresso or Pour-Over.Using Mahlkonig grinders and Synesso machines with all the expected noise, while overhead music is predictable Coffee Shop stuff, it was eventually opting for Cocoa-perfumed Cold Brew that the bill was paid, the next ninety minutes spent sipping while using free Wi-Fi and indulging in Pastry. All in-house production, the roaster up front and bakeshop visible through glass, Breakfast began with Banana Bread, its crumb fragrant and moist with Raisins while Almonds as well as Walnuts each added texture and their characteristic taste.Continuing with Fruit, Hidden House’s Scones nothing like the dry and flavorless versions found throughout England, only those who like *lots* of Frangipane should consider the almond Croissant filled with cloying Paste, while the Chocolate Chip Cookies are somewhat slight on Chips but otherwise well-made with crispy edge around soft center.

This is a great space, both inside and out. The courtyard in the back is something I rarely see in Southern Cali, ... it reminds me of something I might find out of state. Its definitely an atmosphere thats sometimes appreciated in a great community coffee shop. Trees, fresh air, and it doesnt feel like its part of a crazy hustle and bustle of the city.Friendly staff. In house bakery kitchen. In house roasting.I tried a couple different coffees and they were varied in taste but all high in quality.Shared a few different pastries,... the vegan cookie was rich and delicious. The apricot & thyme scone with glaze was savory and good. The bagel bomb was awesome w a flavored cream cheese filling. Def try that! Unique. We got the last one on that day. When youre in the area, check them out. And their outdoor beer garden, Dear Lacy, is steps away and has soft opened.

1 star specifically due to masks enforcement. Its disappointing to have to write this review however I have tried to contact HHC for a week through different avenues and have received no response regarding the events we have been seeing happen at your SA location. My husband and I try to visit the SA location at least once a week (especially since COVID) to support and make sure your coffee shop remains open. As proud SA residents, HHC is our first choice of coffee in SA/ Tustin/ Orange and the first one we recommend to people.Recently it has been harder for us to choose to continue to visit your SA location.Over the last two weeks we have seen the same family (husband, wife and adult daughter/ young woman with them) order inside without masks. They appear to know the staff and the young woman entered the bakery prep area and hugged the employee making the baked goods upon leaving. The same couple was there last Sunday with a different young woman (all mask less). I know you have a partnership with Mariners on Sundays, however it seems they have multiple guests that don’t wear masks either with ordering before they join the group out back.We want to continue to choose you as our favorite neighborhood coffee shop. We know it can be hard for your staff to address customers about wearing masks but there is a sign on your door that masks are required for entry and per CDPH face masks must be worn especially indoors. We care about you all and want you to stay open and healthy. Please keep your staff and coffee shop safe and welcoming for everyone during this difficult time.Thank you

Coffee is great. Probably a step above Starbucks or Coffee Bean but its a little expensive. $4 for a large coffee and its really not a large. Its more like a medium size. My big issue besides the price is when I went to pay they wouldnt take cash. They said Management didnt want to take the risk because of Covid whatever the hell that means. So I tell them all I have is cash. Then I noticed a Tip Jar with cash in it. I say to the cashier So you guys wont take cash but you have a tip jar...with cash she said yeah sorry so I said How about this. You give me a large coffee and Ill throw $4 in the tip jar? She agreed and I got the coffee. Just seemed really stupid

Parking is a little hard to find in this neighborhood. The interior is similar to most small coffee shops these days. Nice but nothing special. The cashier was unfriendly at best. We were obviously first-timers here. She left us looking around confused looking for the menu. We finally found the really small menus which were made out of slabs of wood which was actually cool. She didnt make any recommendations or help at all. She just stared at us then said something smart about taking the menus. Maybe she was having a bad day. We ordered and ended up sitting on their outside patio since all their indoor seating was taken up by people on their laptops. The whole buy one coffee and take up a seat for hours at a coffee shop thing really bothers me. It must cut into their profits but these little places dont seem to care. In the end, the coffee was average at best. There are much better options in the area for a good cup of coffee and a place to chill.

I had a latte with the alternative milk option. Quite pricey as must hip and trendy coffee shops charge. I’m quite a coffee pero son and splurge on lattes from time to time since i have to pay extra for milk alternatives. The place is cute but the coffee was a miss. Their espresso was so bitter i could barely drink my latte. It was a quick butter tase upon pressing my lips to the mug and then the sip confirmed the beans were gross. I did get a cute profile picture but not worth my $6. The staff wasn’t friendly but I should’ve complained instead of forcing bitterness down.

I had their bacon cheddar bagel ball thing and really enjoyed it.If youre looking for a breakfast place, this provably isnt the spot for you. I think they serve more food on the weekend.Love the open concept and large windows, a lot of natural light. Mainly small tables for one or two people, bar seating, and very little tables for large groups. As for parking, I did not find an open lot. I parked on the street; either side of the shop works. Just look out for parking signs. The building itself is easy to spot, and stands alone between the two small streets.
