Installed a car alarm with remote start and paging system on a 2004 crown vic for almost half of what my local guy wanted, and installed it in about an 1/8th of the time I was quoted by local guy. 10/10 will definitely be coming here for future upgrades.

This place has been around for a while. This is good because they gave us a one year warranty on parts and service. Huge selection. They gave us a quote and they did not up charge us. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star review is because we had to drive here four times due to miscommunication. We wanted to keep our old unit, but they forgot to put it in the vehicle even though we asked for it. They did a great job installing the unit. Sounds great. We are impressed with their work. However, they did leave lose wire clippings on the floor board that we had to clean up. Overall, wonderful place, I would absolutely return, and I highly recommend them. My only advice is call ahead and communicate a lot. They are open seven days a week and they were very pleasant to deal with. Smiles and friendly.

I had a problem with my car shaking at high speeds for years. Been to several mechanics and no one could figure it out. Spending countless amounts of money for nothing. Went to Bristol Sound and they figured it out in about 20 minutes. Now I feel safer in my car than ever. Not impressed - If youre looking to spend your hard-earned money on something, my suggestion is to not do it here as theyll take advantage of you.This place is not worth it. Was quoted one price, and afterwards had to pay an additional $220 for a module. If I didnt pay for the module, what good would it be to have a new radio that doesnt work with my speakers? I mean, I still had to pay them for the initial agreed upon price, so what were my options? They even kept my car overnight (which Im unsure what they did to my car because I noticed that the gap between my drivers fender and the hood has a huge gap).Plus the install was shotty at best; I paid for their service, and its a complete ripoff - the backup camera they used, you can find on Ebay or the Walmart website for around $15. The Pioneer deck I purchased has a high pitch humming sound running in the background. I highly doubt the problem is with the equipment, but its coming from the bad install job.I checked where they tapped the power source for the camera, and they used some sort of cheap tape. Too many shortcuts were done for this (and Ill quote the owner) Mickey Mouse job the installer did.For the price I paid, I believe if I packaged out the same/similar equipment (including the labor) that any Best Buy offers, Id probably save $70 (and instead have a quality install where my steering wheel controls would work, and the camera would have been of higher quality).Im not going to let them touch my cars again. There are many other car shops in Santa Ana (along Bristol or Harbor) that Ive used years ago on my other vehicles, and this is the worst one yet.

Great place. I needed a stereo install kit on a Sunday and they had it. They were quite helpful.

These guys installed a new amplifier in my car. They grounded it wrong so when my car is idling and the stereo is on mute I hear the car idling through the speakers. I went back and they couldnt figure it out. They never fixed the problem.

Horrible place to go, all the good reviews are fake... They have bad attitudes and will not talk to customers with respect. They will also not take blame for any damages done to your care while in their care. Dont waste your time or money.

Really bad customer service ! I was told to put my car in the garage to get started on doing the work without even a price right before they did I told him cant do that price he just walk away from me and ignores me and nobody helped me out all. Little did he know I was going to pay cash and get more stuff done to it

I paid about $750 for a low end head unit+backup camera. Come to find out the head unit I paid $299 for is $199 everywhere on the internet. The backup cam used is about $50 online. So in the end Im basically paying $400 for labor (for a 2 hour job normally) and tax, and almost double for a backup cam. Which if the job was done right, and I was treated great wouldnt be the end of the world. Ill pay for great customer service.The problems? Nobody informed me that half of my factory speakers simply wouldnt work because I didnt spend $170 on a different module for my vehicle to retain factory speakers. So I thought since it was their mistake maybe theyd at least offer a discounted rate or something else. Nope, full price to fix THEIR mistake. Then to make matters worse I pay the $170 to get all of the speakers working and now my stereo has about half the volume, because now its working from the amp not the speakers. Youd think they would communicate that beforehand!So now Im about $1000 in for a $199 head unit and backup cam. Terrible waste of $. For that price I could have gone most places and gotten an entire sound system set up Im sure.The customer service was poor. Getting different stories+prices+time estimates from 3 different people. What was originally going to take 90 minutes ended up being like 3.5 hours. Very poor, not concise communication from the owner and management. The service advisors/owner dont communicate whatsoever with the techs, so the poor techs fix something, and another problem pops up because it wasnt communicated. The tech was very cool, but I could tell he was annoyed with them as well. The owner hovers over all of the workers and customers impatiently but not in a useful way. Try to ask him about the job and he doesnt know whats going on even though hes the one telling the techs what to do.I talked to two other local shops and they informed me that this situation makes no sense at all, and my factory amp+sub+speakers should 100% be compatible with another head unit with no issues.I work in sales with a lot of customers, so I know how important customer service is. For this very reason, I cannot in good faith recommend this place. Please trust me, take your business elsewhere. Im sure the other shops are a lot more competent and will treat you like a valued customer, instead of as an inconvenience. When I brought up the issues instead of offering to help me out the owners suggestion was basically buying all new speakers+sub+amp lol. What a joke.Update: As Im leaving the shop and testing my sound volume and quality is about twice as bad. Loud distortion with anything above 30% volume. I am having them remove the module now after the worker lied to the owner and said that he explained this would happen. Completely untrue. If I knew this would happen I wouldnt of spent a dime doing this. Basically I paid $800+ for a backup camera and bluetooth. Horrible place. Stay away.

Gerardo took care of my window tint for my car. Great guy. I was in and out in 1 hour. Tint is still holding up great and giving me excellent heat protection after 9 months. I will update should there be any problems with it.

Their service is garbage!!! They have unethical behaviors. They abuse their customers and are dishonest. They can not be trusted. When I confronted them for the bad work they did on my car they did not apologize or try to fix the problem instead they had a threatening attitude. Simply do not waste your money here.

Back in January 4th they installed my back up camera but They didn’t connect the wires correctly so they burned one of my fuses and caused big problems to my car.

Worst experience ever all my stuff was installed wrong and the speakers popped a couple times do to wrong wiring will never go back don’t don’t recommend it to anybody ended up going elsewhere and spend another thousand dollars for them to fix what Bristol Sound had done bad!!

I actually paid to have a tint job done here. However, I was sent to one of their sister shops on 1014 Harbor. After about 3.5 hours, it was done. Too late to inspect properly, I waited until the next day. Two windows had scratches in all of the corners of the tint, and two had air caught underneath (even after the 3-4 day drying). Oh, and my brand new truck had a fresh scratch in the clear.I went back to where I paid right when they opened on a Saturday. First one there, no other people. I was then told that they were busy and I would need to make an appointment. Come back next Saturday at this same time, I was told.Annoyed with crappy tint at this point.Fast forward another week. I was there right when they opened, no other cars. Informed them why I was there, again. Showed them what was wrong, again. After pointing out the scratches, I was actually told,Look, youre not a professional, and neither am I.Thats when I knew a really messed up by coming to this place.We cant fix it today you need to make an appointment. Pissed off at this point, I reminded them that we made an agreement and they reluctantly remembered. It would take up to 6 hours to remove the tint and replace it. Or they could just remove the tint today, which would take two hours, and replace it a week later.Another good one was when I asked for a refund. They laughed in my face and said,Come on man, were not gonna give you your money back.I realized that if I kept trying, I risked more damage to my truck and who knows how many hours of wasted time. I requested they remove all of the tint and I wouldnt be coming back. Of course it was off in less than half an hour.If you want quality work and good service, try elsewhere. Preferably nowhere near this area. Im aware of these two shops and I know they have at least three. Ill be leaving a review for the one where they damaged my truck soon.

Alex and Joe took great care of me. I got some fat rims and tires and they got me approved for 90 days same as cash. They walked me through the whole process and I ended up getting rims from their private reserve section and I left feeling really good about my ride. I took my car to this place. It was a terrible experience for me! They want just make money for nothing. I brought my sound system just to fix instead the old one. They tried to push me to buy a new sound system from them, because “my sound system isn’t good and not gonna works”. But I insisted to fix mine anyway. I paid, they fixed my sound system and... it didn’t work! I thought maybe they were right, but my husband took my car to another place and those technicians fixed it. It turned out that Bristol Sound didn’t fix some important parts, that’s why it didn’t work. So I don’t recommend Bristol Sound to anyone! Even 1 star is too much for them!

Installed speakers and amps. Got a buzzing from the speakers. I took it in and the didn’t even bother fixing it. Just turned some knobs. Install was average at best. I’m taking it to another shop to rip out all their wiring and to re do it.I wanted to ask for a refund but didn’t want to waste my time nor thought they would even consider it. I paid cash which was my mistake.

First off Ive been a huge fan of car audio for a long time and they have everything!!! All of it is reasonably priced and if you have any questions Alex is your guy! Made me feel like famil when I came I and hes giving me an amazing deal on wiring up my system. Tons of experience in the game and very personable! This place is a 5/5 I would HIGHLY recommend coming here before buying anything! Ill be here for all my work in the future!

One of the worst places to do business with sold me a wiring harness for $20 and it’s not the right harness for my car . Came back asked for a refund and the response was ( the best I will do give you $5 ) . Stay away from these D heads just tryna rip off people on the daily basis . I wouldn’t recommend any one around their business . And the other fact that they will give you a price while shopping and once you get to the counter they will throw a different price . Just horrible service with some uneducated workers .

Got screwed over on credit I wouldnt recommend you applying for credit with them I was approved for 2k they told me you can get up to 1 year no interest they told me my credit was good they estimated the stuff I was getting at 1800 and they asked me if i could put 200 down toward the amount and I did so at the end it should have been 1600 but once I received the amount total Im 100% positive they took the 1800 total and added another 200 to the amount and not only that the creditor which was home acceptance corp added about 25% or more interest from the start to the total which Im sure was 200 so they played me, made me believe that I was being charged 1800 out the door as they said and at the end raise it to 2000 and add the 25% or more at the beginning I wouldnt trust these people at all they will play you like they played me and I will never give them another penny. Be warned or experience it for yourself and also not only that but it took them about 2-3 days just to install all the stuff I purchased so I had to keep making trips back and forth and they wouldnt even start on it from the time I showed up they started it each day towards the end

Watch out for fake reviews. These 1 star people are either stupid or are from another shop. IF you have a problem you can go back and they fix it. My bluetooth stopped working and they fixed for free. Bristol Sound is a good place. I found them a couple of years ago, and they have always been good to me. Their prices are good, service is good, and they are fast.

This has got to be the worst place to ever open up for business. The owner literally screamed at me, cursed at me and told me to F*#% Off. I am not lying, I am not embellishing this is who owns and works at this shop. My issue was in the tires and rims that they referred me to buy that were not the correct size they out source any other type of work that isn’t stereo work to other businesses. I paid them for the tires and rims and was told that I had to actually pick them up at another location so I did, when I got there the other shop showed me the tires/rims and they were the incorrect size so I told them this and they told me I had to go back to Bristol Stereo since I paid there so I go back to Bristol Stereo and am immediately met by the Owner who starts screaming at me that I am an idiot and it’s my fault that I gave Bristol Stereo the wrong information and now I have to pay a restocking fee!! I told him I specifically told them the size and even emailed a picture of the rim/tires showing the size and number I needed to his manager I offered to pull up the email that I sent but refused to listen to me and he just got louder and louder and became pretty frightening at that point so I told him he was insane and I wanted my money back which he refused. I am currently disputing the charge with my card company which prompted a phone call from the psycho owner that I sent to voicemail where he was stupid enough to irately cuss at me and threaten to find me and physically hurt me as well as told me to burn in Hell, I am going to the Sheriffs Department tomorrow night and am going to file a police report for his threats, DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE SERIOUSLY RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THESE PSYCHO PEOPLE !! Also the workers that were there when he was cussing me out in person did absolutely NOTHING which speaks volumes to the quality of the staff at this place. Stay away, I am so thankful I used my card and did not pay this psycho cash or I would have had no way to get my money back, so I would have had no product that fit my car, an additional restocking fee for nothing as the shop made the mistake and no money back, so happy I didn’t pay cash thank god ! I hope people read this review and save themselves the money and time and sanity.

Bad customer services. I came in to have my HID Headlights both adjusted downwards and this person didnt adjust nothing to my light bulbs. I had to come home and figure out myself and finally found by the help of YouTube, yay!. Horrible service. Worst, I had to pay the guy for the service (who did nothing). I dont know how this place is still in business. Workers there looked like they had a horrible manager. Dont go to this trap house!
