David the Salesman was awesome! Wish can say the same for the vehicle when it was delivered, barely have gas, no floor mats even the temporary kind.Took it to my mechanic for a check up, oil was low and dirty. Had to spend another 100.00 plus for oil change, additional fluid that was low and 60.00 for gas. It would have been so nice as a courtesy to buyers coming from a far location to have at least half a tank or even a little over a fourth of gas but almost empty? I dont know!😭Again David was persistent, consistent thats a plus and they paid for my Uber. A big minus on the vehicle overall condition... 🤗🙏☝️I had to spend my owe money to get the check engine light fix too!Let me just add that up to now 3/13/2019... I have not receive my registration and title! The vehicle is a cash purchase. Paid 450.00 for the registration... Original post was 3 months ago... Its sad that good business relationship is ending with a poor follow up and poor customer service... 😞😞😞

Horrible car dealership. The man that was on the lot helping us didnt even pay attention half the time. He was just on his phone the entire time. When we finally bought the car there were so many problems with i. None of the lights inside the car worked, the ac did not work either. The top fabric of the car started to become loose after 1 month of owning the car and the passenger window completely fell apart and stuck inside the the car door. We tried calling them multiple times with the same issues and they never answer or say that their is nothing they can do. The moment i called the financer i told them i will not be making payments on the car until the problem is fixed. They talked with the dealership and the very next morning the dealership wanted us to come in to fix the car. Dont even get me started on how many times the car has randomly stopped in the middle of traffic and the amount of smoke that the car engine blew out. This dealership is one the most horrible ones out there

If based solely on my experience with Mike (FNI) or Mark (salesman) this would be a 4/5 or 5/5. They were both extremely helpful after the purchase, Mike even more so.However how Iris is handling the contracts is illegal. She blatantly lied to me and told me that my financier requires gap insurance on the vehicle, which she reemed me for $890. She INPUT this in to the contract hoping I would not catch it and I HAD TO ASK WHAT THIS $890 FEE WAS FOR! It was a negotiation of attrition, I told her without question I did not want it but she claimed it was a non-negotiable term from the financier. So I caved because I had already been there all day and had to get to work.To top it off, after calling the warranty company the agent was so embarrassed for me he wouldnt tell me the MSRP on this warranty but informed me it was NOT OVER $200. So that means not only did she lie, she decided to add on additional $690 to this charge, as I confirmed with the agent its at the discretion of the dealer to determine this price as long as its equal to or more than the price.After getting my paperwork I called my financier and they said this is not part of their contract, this is not something theyve EVER heard of. I have confirmed this with at least four people at the bank. It has been like pulling teeth getting this money back. I finally got it reimbursed by the dealership, and it took almost FOUR MONTHS, after countless emails and calls between the bank, dealer and warranty company. This is unacceptable.If Iris tells you this dont believe it. Google it, this is patently false and shes lying. Walk.Practices like this is why people hate going to the dealership, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. This is not just immoral, it’s illegal.Truck was in decent shape but I knew what I was getting. Ive had some issues with it (bad shocks, weird door issue, flat tire) however theyve been minor repairs and Mike was helpful with the issues I contacted him about. I point this out as Id like to commend how helpful hes been, while pointing out that how Iris is handling the contracts is illegal and disgusting.TL:DR- Mark and Mike are helpful. Iris is a liar and will lie about the terms of your contract and slip in an $890 charge for something you do not want, and tell you it is required to finance, when that isnt true. Again, this is objectively illegal and shady.

Mike Morgans professionalism and customer service is by far the best you can receive from a salesperson. I referred my sister who purchased her vehicle the same time I purchased mine, so it was a two-for one sale for him. My father-in-law referred me to him, as well as another Pastor and had nothing, but great satisfaction for his purchase. Mike does not only work for the sale, but for the customer and you cant ask for anything better than that. My family has purchased 4 vehicles from Sterling Imports and the exceeded our expectations. I bought a 2008 Ford Escape here and two days later i could not get the key out of the ignition so i called them and they wanted me to leave the car there for two days but would not lend me a vehicle to get to work in so i had to pass . when i took the car to the car wash it was like leaving the sun roof completely open, so much water came into the car that i literally had to use a cup and bucket to get the water out, when i took the car back to make a complaint in person they told me that its impossible because it has a double rubber seal, i was furious, how can you tell me its not possible when you had to have known the water leaks inside when it rains or when you go to the car wash ? The window sticker price was $6,999 and the total price after finance came out to $12, 000 they take advantage of people who are low income and have a need for a vehicle but not the best credit . do not buy a vehicle here you will regret it and have lots of headaches and problems.

Flew in from out of state with my dad to buy a car, people were all helpful and friendly. All said and done took about 2 hours but we were waiting on a few things so probably would have been faster without that.

We bought a Jeep Liberty in Oct of 2019. 4 months later weve have multiple problems with the jeep. Weve had to put in over 600$ of repairs that we know we didnt do, because we only had, had it 2 months when the problems started. Sterling takes no responsibility, thats bad buissness. Dont go there unless you want to be robbed unfortunately thats the truth. There is no integrity in this auto store.

Its been a few days since I bought a car from Sterling Imports and I am still in awe of how great the staff was and how easy the process was. Mike Morgan was my salesperson. I called him on Saturday and by Sunday I was driving away with a beautiful car, when I thought my credit wasnt good enough. Mike came in his day off to help me, was very prompt with responding to my phone calls and emails, he was helpful and understanding and really worked with me to find the perfect car for my budget and lifestyle. I was in the neighborhood to buy a new car since the lease I had wasnt financially worth it. I dont have any credit so any main dealers were out of the question. A lot of dealers on Harbor advertise the whole No Credit, $500 Down, which Sterling Imports is one of them. I walked in aiming for a Lexus IS 250, turns out I wasnt approved for that but I was approved for an older 07 Lexus ES 350. I was told Id be paying $350 with $1500 down, with $180 extra for insurance. I told them Id think about it since it was a bit steep, debating on either accepting the offer or not i walked in two days later I walk in again telling them Ill take it. And they give me Oh sorry, you were approved for 22% APR. So were unable to get the monthly payment down to what we told you a few days ago. Buying a new car isnt really that easy, and I thought one of these dealers would give a no credit consumer options to finance a car. But saying something one day and coming back just to have them say You werent approved for this rate, even after telling me I was. Thats just dirty. They gladly tried to sell me a Malibu that was over mileage with the dash radio trim missing though, and a base model Chevrolet Cruze.

4 years ago my gf and I purchased a manual 2011 Kia soul with about 100 k miles and its been great to us. Only 1 major repair which wasnt even bad considering the milage on it. The only reason the 4 stars is because the finance company being really annoying, calling my work for payments 2 weeks before its even due and being aggressive.

We just bought our forth car from sterling imports, and every time we got a great car and a great service. from sales people to after purchase service, to financing. its fair to say that theyre doing the best time after time.

ILLEGAL VEHICLE REGISTRATION SCAM...My personal experienced with this dealership started out ok. The staff (Stephanie) were attentive.Until it was time sign some paper work. When it came down to signing the purchase order document and right before I sign it, Omar (unknown work title) made a statement to me my vehicle registration will be mail to their dealership.Now, Im always suspicious and on-guard with any car dealerships (especially used cars-mom-and-pop dealership type), but Omar made a statement about my vehicle registration coming to their dealership, it raised a BIG RED FLAG with me. Being a Retire LEO, its engraved in my soul to watch out shady business and people in general.I asked Omar, if I purchase the vehicle and Im the new owner; why does my personal vehicle registration being mail to their dealership? He said, we been doing it this way for a long time. I said, the registration should be mail to my home, and not to the dealership. I advised him of my suspicion and their illegal practice of having the new owner vehicle registration mail directly to their dealership and it is another way for them to attempt to collect more money from the new owner, by you (new owner) going to pick up your personal vehicle registration from them.When you pick up your registration, they will most likely tell you, that you owe more money for the registration. In order for you to get your registration, you have to pay them however much they tell you; otherwise they may not give it to you. This is called extortion and it is highly illegal and a felony for any car dealership mail your registration to their dealership, instead of you home.-If your an idiot and dont know the laws, you may fall into their scammed-.I even offer to do my own registration process, but the owner flat out say No. That in it-self is another red flag.Now, during the whole process of purchasing a vehicle (new or used), whatever price you had agreed and sign the final contract and walk out the door with car. That is it, there should NOT be any other cost to you.But this the problem most people come across when dealing with dishonest, liars, thieves and deceptive dealerships.As for me, I didnt sign the final paper work, instead, I walk out with frustration and never again will I go to any mom-and-pop dealership. You are more likely to get scammed 96% of the time.However, if those of you who had been swindle and possibly scammed by this dealership, because you had to go pick up your personal vehicle registration from them and end up paying more money just to get your registration from the dealership or any other dealerships, You just been scammed.REMINDER: IT IS ILLEGAL FOR ANY CAR DEALERSHIP TO HAVE MAIL YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION TO THEIR DEALERSHIP LOCATION, OTHER THEN YOUR HOME, AND IT IS A CRIME OF EXTORTION IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY (after you agreed to a contract) TO THE DEALERSHIP GET YOUR REGISTRATION.Contact your state DMV special investigators and file a police report with the CHP if you been extorted for money just to get your vehicle registration from the dealership. This type of dealership should not continued to operate.

This place has a decent selection of cars, Gustavo was very polite and helpful to us, but unfortunately the boss Miguel and his mechanics are useless...I bought a Cadillac there thinking it was a great deal, and for the most part it was until I noticed it had some defects..The driver side seat motor was dead, it wouldnt move at all...the ignition was working half the time so I took it back to get it fixed (still under the 1,000 mile warranty) so they called me back telling me its fixed..I went there to find out the seat was still defective and the ignition was working great. So I told them id bring it back in 2 days or so (had to go to work needed my car) they told me it was fine. To sum it up I ended up taking it back 5 times and they couldnt fix it and they offered 150 dollars for the seat...Me, being annoyed and angry I decided to take the 150 dollars to save me the head ache from these guys...but then my transmission started to have problems...hard shifts/hesitating shifts etcI took it back to them right before my 1k mile warranty ended and they said they would fix it...it was ready the next day so I was excited..the transmission seemed to be fine until 1 1/2 month later the transmission blows and my mechanic says he cant even salvage it. So I went back to Sterlijng Imports to ask for a repair order so I can see exactly what it was they worked on and Miguel, the manager told me We do not do repair orders...our mechanics are not open to the public so we do not need them and we will not reimburse you for the transmission. really? No repair orders? You cant even tell me what you did to my car? This is the last time Ill be going to sterling imports and I STRONGLY recommend you go else where, They sell lemons and they WILL take advantage of you given the chance. Dont make the same mistakes others and myself have made.

Bad company they say they take bad credit but they dont and instead of calling and lettinv u know they dont except ur bad credit they ignore your phone calls and others in office pretend they know nothing about and make excuses. I will not beg someone to take my money.
