The spring broke on my garage door Wednesday afternoon. The noise was so loud my wife jumped 5 feet in the air. I called discount garage doors who installed the door. After someone customized my brothers garage door by backing into it, the frame was useless. Twisted cables and track rollers on the floor added to the mess. Have used Spring King several times in past and he is very responsive even on weekends. Last call one of the sensor lights was out so I called to get new sensors installed. Was told that the new sensor didnt work and that the board in the unit was bad and would need a new opener.I thought his price was very high (between $400 to 500) so called around. I spoke to customer service at LiftMaster. They said since the door functioned with the wall switch that it wasnt the unit, but was a bad sensor. They walked me through replacing the sensor. And guess what - my opener works. So I saved several hundred dollars and wonder how much of my previous work was really necessary.

Called on a Sunday afternoon after Hurricane Irma hit. My door wouldnt go down and had broken springs. Richard was here within an hour of the call with the parts needed to fix the door. 45 minutes later my door and spring was fixed, I could close my door, and he fixed a couple other annoying issues while he was at it. Theres a reason I asked him for a new sticker with his phone number to put by my push button opener. Hes got my business for life. Quirky and interesting guy, does great work and tells some interesting stories while he works!
