I’ve been dealing with united AG and turf Northeast in Sanford Maine since January when I purchased my John Deere 1025R and had questions.The salesman Aaron always answered my calls and if he did not know the answer to the question I was posing he got me one pretty quick and would text me back or call.I’ve also purchased A box blade, Rototiller, and brush hog for my business that I was starting up. The turnaround time was minimal because if they did not have the implement I was looking for at their facility, they quickly ordered it or went and got it from a different dealership.The mechanics are very knowledgeable and were able to troubleshoot my last maintenance issue and in less than 4 days time they had located the problem, ordered the parts and got me back up and running so I could continue with 3 jobs that had backed up.If they weren’t so efficient at the dealership and took longer I might have had several more jobs backed up or worse canceled because I could not come and meet their needs in a timely manner.Shout out to Mike Archer, the mechanic who got me up and running again so I can continue with my business. And also for Aaron Johnson my salesman for always keeping me posted on the progress of any purchase or repair that’s being doneIn closing I can tell you from experience that although you are a small business or regular homeowner when you work with the Sanford ME John Deere dealership UNITED AG AND TURF in Sanford ME. We needed a part for a mower, and got the part we needed however werent given any choices of different options. The man who took our information looked up on a computer, went out back, grabbed one thing and rung us up. It would have been nice to have a few options to chose from.The part was the right part and everything, just an odd buying experience I guess.

Cudos to Steve Ford at John Deere in Sanford. He really knows his stuff and he takes great care of his customers. I had a few issues with my JD and he came to my house a couple of times to diagnose the issue, then he sent the truck to pick it up, they fixed it and returned the same day ahead of the coming storm the next day. Steve CARES about the product and his customers. I have purchased multiple items from him and Im so glad I did, and will in the future also.THANK YOU STEVE FORD.

I give North Country Tractor five stars. Their place is clean in the staff is courteous. When something is wrong with my 750 John Deere tractor and it needs to be repaired they pick it up after its repaired. They bring it back and drop it off at my farm. Theres an extra fee for pick up and delivery. They are very helpful when I asked a question.

Drove 1 1/2 hrs to do buiness with North Country. Met with Steve the store manager. Was laid back & easy to do business with. Was treated with courtesy & respect. He listened to my needs & was able to make recommendations for my needs. I purchased a Z920M zero turn with a on demand mulch deck. BEST machine I have owned. Will never be without a mulch on demand deck again. Turns leafs into powder. I will never rake or blow leaves again. I purchased this Z920 for homeowner use. What a machine. Rides & handles great plus grooms the lawn perfectly. This is a solid built, quality machine. You get what you pay for! If you want to be treated fairly & with respct go see Steve Ford. Been told this place has changed hands a few times and it shows. Lack of knowledge and more importantly a lack of communication. Will not be buying John Deere any time soon and will be staying away from this location.

Great selection of equipment and a lot of parts in stock. Their customer service is the very best !

Service: Brought in two Honda generators for general maintenance in November 11/15 to get ready for winter. Specifically requested the pull cords be replaced because of the age of the generators and one has previously worn through. Requested an estimate was told I would be called.12/20/15: No contact from the Shaws ridge. I called and was told parts were coming in next week and generators will be ready soon after.Fast forward to 1/15/16: No contact from Shaws ridge. I called and was told they were ready.Go figure the pull cords were not replaced. Was told they looked fine and the mechanic trimmed them. I pulled the cords out and they were the same gritted frayed cords I dropped off.$213 to not get the work done I asked for. NEVER there again.

Horrible sales experience. Took 24 hours to go back and forth on a very simple sale that another dealer handled in literally 10 minutes over the phone. Was left feeling it was all about every penny instead of a great customer service experience, happy customer and building a good reputation.Very disappointed. (Was a 10+ year customer).
