My daughter purchased a Nissan Altima from drive time, the 6th day the car starts giving her trouble. She needed a new transmission, brakes, rear view mirror came off, had it towed 2 times and today...shes taking it back to Nissan for mounts. Drive time sold her a lemon. And the only help she can get from them is...she must use her warranty she purchased. 2 weeks of frustration...shes taking off from work & towing fees. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM. Go to carmax, nissan or toyota.

Honest feedback:My salesperson Ken was awesome, I needed to replace my car on the one day off I had, and he was amazing, I told him what I needed and he showed me a variety of cars that fit my needs, then I test drove 2 and picked my favorite. I was able to buy it that day, in and out in like 4 hours? Which is great compared to how it’s usually a multi-day event at other dealerships.A couple things about the vehicle itself I do think they should have handled before selling the vehicle though:- The front left tire has low tread and needs replacement- The oil change light came on within the week I bought it. They should have changed the oil.- Didn’t come with a full tank of gas.I do love the car and Ken was awesome.You just usually don’t expect to have to buy a tire, and change the oil the week you buy a new car 🤷🏻‍♂️

I originally had gone to DriveTime on Colonial. But the car I wanted was at the Sanford location. I went out there and was able to take the car for a test drive. When I got back they all worked very efficiently to get everything in order for me to get my car. They were very helpful and efficient. I am so glad I chose DriveTime.

My experience was great all in all.. I guess the irony of it all.. is the persistence.. I at first found it to be a bit much but in the end it was the exact amount of persistence necessary to get me in the vehicle I wanted. I appreciate the time a attention provided to me. Do not buy from here! Bought a 2017 Ford Escape, three weeks later transmission is leaking, drive axle cracked, and the mechanics said it was apparent this was an old issue. No help from these guys and no disclosure of the issue. I will update with the exact name of the woman who helped us. Stay away from this place!!!!

My experience is from a couple months ago. The salesman was very friendly, but we got sold a vehicle that was overpriced. It was a 2017 Hyundai Veloster with 61K miles. The price was $12,000, but I owed $18,000. $18,000 is far too much for a Veloster. The monthly payments were $510. That is awful. At the time, my credit was not very good, but that does not mean I get monthly payments of half-a-thousand dollars. I would recommend only coming here if you are positive about what car you want and you have high credit.

Was a really fast streamlined process from Start to Finish. I was very skeptical when I filled out the online easy application and it said I was approved. So I called Frank to let him know what vehicle I was interested in. He immediately gave me a payment with a down payment along with other options like warranties and all (Which I highly recommend you take!) Asked me for basic information to verify my income, address and all via email. Once all that was verified, he said he just needed me to come in and test drive, sign some paperwork, and make my down payment. Even at this point I was still skeptical as I had a very recent Voluntary Repo of a second vehicle I had with a low credit score... So I drove out to DriveTime after work and sure enough the vehicle was sitting outside ready and clean. I went inside and he handed me the keys for the test drive. It drove as expected. Came back and signed a couple forms (By this time they already had the temp tag on it and was going through an inspection on the vehicle with my wife). After signing I made my low down payment and he shook my hand and sent me on my way with my new vehicle!!! Literally 30 minutes at the dealer and out the door!!!! Highly recommend this place!!!!

Went here to buy my first car. After reviewing my contract and consulting with specialists in the automotive industry I learned that drivetime loaded my contract with unnecessary add ons to drive the loan amount higher. Basically they took advantage of my lack of knowledge of the process. This is actually standard process with Drivetime. If you go here beware that they will try to offer you overpriced add ons with the hope of doubling your loan amount. I was paying 34K for a car worth 12K. I am now in the process of getting those add ons removed which will bring my bill down to around 17K. Thats literally half. These people are low level scammers. Be sure of what you sign.
