It was a Sunday when I noticed my tires were done. Called many places and finally found this place that had my tires in stock, was open and had staff to do the work. Michael and Tony were awesome. They explained everything to me. I so happened to mention I hope I can get to change my oil before they close. Immediately they said we can take care of that service right here. My car needed an alignment really bad. I received 4 tires with 80,000 mile limited warranty. A lifetime of alignments and tire rotation and an oil change. I also received great service and great customer interaction. I will continue to go there for my oil change, alignment and tire rotations. FYI I needed the tires done ASAP as the next morning I was leaving for a long trip at 5am. Thanks again Michael and Tony!

Took a Ram 3500 service body to get a new tire mounted. They sold me a tire but the mechanic didn’t want to put the tire on the truck. Claimed his 3ton floor jack could jack and lift one side of the axel up. Simply put. Poor service and poor workmanship. I do not recommend this location at all.

My signal light was out. But they did a ck 4 things I knew I needed & made it affordable.

Took my car here to see why my ACs air won’t blow cold air. Was told it was my fan and it would be about 1,000$ to fix. I am glad I took my car for a second opinion after two different mechanics told me my fan is fine and it’s the compressor that needs to be fixed. While the compressor overall will cost more, getting the second and third opinion saved me 1k from this place to “fix” something that wasn’t the problem.Edit to add- just picked up my car with a fixed compressor and the ac is perfect again. Glad I took my car somewhere else after this Firestone misdiagnosed me.

Robert was super friendly and helpful and Pablo was also friendly and took good care of my car. The only issue I had here was how absolutely rude the girl inside was to an elderly gentlemen. He had a hard time understanding where to sign on the pin pad and instead of coming around the desk to simply point to where he needed to sign she have him attitude then goes outside and loudly starts complaining about how annoying he was. Everyone inside could hear her. She made a very friendly and professional place of business a place I would hope my grandparents never go to.

Always a 5 star experience at this location Roberts the manager and all his staff are professional and they have integrity they wont sell you something you dont need and I really like that in a place its the go-to place for car repair in Sanford

I’m used to driving a long way to GOODYEAR in Orlando for any service, I came here with a lot of trust having never been to a Firestone. First impression, Robert is a fine gentleman. Great customer service, therefore I will be back!

Unfortunately I had a rather misleading and dishonest experience with this branch. After confirming availability to have brakes and rotors swapped on my Tacoma - I dropped off the truck seemingly without worry. However, an hour later I received a call from Robert claiming a bolt on my passenger front wheel spacer was cross threaded and that they were unable to continue with repairs. I understand that corporate policy may not allow the mechanics to work on vehicles with wheel spacers (seems like total BS IMO) but nonetheless after I brought my truck to another company that then confirmed my suspicion that no bolts were ever cross-threaded. Firestone fabricated information to help perpetuate their narrative which is morally wrong. If you cannot operate on vehicles with wheel spacers, possibly consider asking that as a preliminary question? I am rather disgusted with how Robert handled business.. why lie at all?

Would not recommend them to anyone. My mom took her car there and they told her she needed $900 worth of work that had been done 3 months ago. I took the car to another shop that confirmed that none of the work was needed. My mom is on a fixed income and it is sad that this place is taking advantage of people.

I was visiting Florida with my family and we were driving a rental car around and had gotten a flat tire out of no where and needed to be to the airport in 30 minutes. We lucked out and we were right next to this Firestone. We were so blessed to meet tony who stopped working on the car he was occupied with and changed our tire immediately, free of charge. He really saved us as we would have been stranded and missed our flights. I am so thankful for his generosity to take the time to help some very panicked folks. Over all the most hospitable experience of my life.

I had to stop here when I got two flats and it was an entire ordeal. They didnt think they had the tires in stock. Then they did. Then they didnt have enough of the tires. Then they did. Then they put the tires on and were done and had to redo it again because, oops the tires are sized differently on my car and they didnt notice until now. Didnt fill me with a lot of confidence and they had to change the price on me several times. They werent incredibly professional either so I would really say only go here if you dont have a choice.

Took my truck in for an alignment. Turned out my rack & pinion was bad. I brought it home and put an new one in myself. Took it back the next day after work about 5:15 (they closed at 6) and they made room and put it right on the rack right there and then. Got it done by 6 and I was out. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!I took my truck in for an alignment this morning. The tech jumped in my truck as he was leaving the parking lot he punches it breaking the rear tires loose and also pulls out in front of another truck and almost wrecks my vehicle. IT WOULD HAD BEEN HIS FAULT! I walk in to the store and requested the store manager as I explain the situation to Eric The Manager He defended his tech. Erics response was this man has been a tech with this company for longer then I have been alive he explained longer then 30 years. My response was Thats fine that he has been with the company for that long. That has nothing to do with the fact that he sped off driving like an animal in my truck and almost got into an accident. No apology was given as the phone rang Eric answered it and ignored me.

I took my car there yesterday to get two tires put on and an alignment. The car had no engine or transmission issues before I dropped it off. Just needed a simple alignment and new tires... I dropped it off around 2 running perfect.. I pick the car up around 5 when they were closing went to go pay and the guy said he needed to take it for a test drive which was weird to me because no other place has done that before. The machines that they use for the alignment should say that its aligned correctly without a test drive... after the technician came back with my vehicle they basically rushed me out of the store because they were closing.. as I started to drive away I noticed a weird noise when I would speed up. I thought it was the new tires making the noise but as I kept driving the the noise got louder and louder like a knocking sound when I would accelerate.. it got progressively worse but I was able to make it to my house.. now even when its sitting in idle the engine is knocking which means I have a possible spun bearing.. whoever took my car out while it was at Firestone for 2 hours destroyed my engine. I dont know if the technician didnt know how to drive stick or what was the deal but I dropped my car off working perfectly fine and got it back with an engine knock.. I filed a vehicle damage claim and I am waiting to hear back from Firestone.. never again will I use Firestone for anything and I dont think anybody else should either.. now I have to make arrangements for a rental car tow service and mechanic bills when all I went there for was tires and alignment..beyond upset and disgusted with this bs company

I received an estimate of $2100 at Tire Kingdom. I came to this Firestone for a 2nd opinion and had appropriate repairs done for $370. I am grateful for the integrity of this store and will be referring friends and family here. Thank you Michael and Robert!

I just called this place to ask about an estimate on some trunk damage, and the guy couldn’t have been more RUDE. As if he was trying to be rude on purpose. Absolutely horrible customer service, used to love them but will never go there again!

I scheduled an appointment the day before, dropped off at 9am sharp and paid in advance. They took all day to install two tires, I called in and spoke with their rep. He told me they were just about to run the alignment. Almost 2 hours later, I get a call quoting me on additional parts needed for the alignment. I told them Im not interested, I just want the tires no alignment.Went in for just tires and my free alignment and they came back quoting me $700 for parts. They essentially told me I needed to buy all new parts in order to do the alignment. When I came in the first time I spoke with the store manager and he admitted that there was no note of those parts needed on my paperwork at first. Then after talking with the mechanic in the garage, changed his story to it was the wrong paperwork and tried to sell me on the parts. Told him I was going to have a friend look at it who has a garage. Then he went outside all of sudden checked the tires and told me they had ordered two different size tires and installed them and had to reorder the right size tire. Repeating over and over, this really sucks.As I was leaving I also noticed they had installed the new wrong sized tires in the front. Usually theyre supposed to go in the rear. I called the rep and told him this and he debated with me that it didnt matter. I told him YES it actually does and Id like them switched to the rear when I come to pick up. Finally I get a call back around rush hour informing me its finally ready.Overall, horrible customer service and it took way longer than usual on a simple tire job with appointment. I walked away with no alignment which I have a lifetime warranty for. Dealt with a confrontational store manager when I asked about it all again in person for the final pick up. I will never do business with any Firestone ever again.

The service we receive here is fast and friendly. Lee handles our fleet account and takes care of all the needs of our vehicles that are on the road everyday. We only have to tell him once what is needed and he gets it done. When we use this location we never lose more than a days work and he usually has our vehicles up and running the very next day! Although we live in Eustis, we will continue to use this Firestone because of the fast and professional service we get here.

I have bought all my tires from Firestone in Sanford for more years then I can remember ! Outstanding Customer Service ! Today I dealt with Rob, had a situation with my wifes drivers side front tire. This was my first time here and I stopped in for an oil change. It seems like a professionally run operation. The service was courteous and as far as I could tell, the work was done properly. My only complaint is that when I dropped the car off, I was told it would be done in 45 minutes to an hour. It was not ready until an hour and forty minutes later. I would recommend them, but they are very busy so dont expect things to be quick. I would suggest dropping your car off and coming back later.

Got here to get an alignment done today around 120pm, at 330pm I was told I had siezed tie rod ends and they couldnt do anything, I thought thats fine my trucks old so I understand, they said they didnt do anything because of the siezed bolts, once I left I realized that couldnt be further from the truth, I was literally dragging my front tires down the road because they were so far out of toe, screeching and smoking the front tires all the way home, I called as I was driving only to be put on hold to which they never answered, drove there going 45mph only to drive back home doing 10mph with tires screeching and burning rubber as I pushed them along, they didnt charge me but I shouldve used better judgment and gone to a real shop, even the guy that worked there recommended a different shop for me to go too because those guys couldnt get his alignment done on his truck either. Smh... Live and learn, so now I need new tires and an alignment.

A few weeks back, my truck broke down and I had to have it towed. My insurance company has a partnership with Firestone and offered to take it here. The vehicle had to be towed on a flat bed because it was four wheel drive. We pulled into the parking lot, and the tow truck driver began to put the truck down. The lady outside said that I needed to go inside, she couldnt help me. When I walked inside, the guy in front just stood there and stared at me. I asked if he could help me, as it wouldnt start. He rudely told me that his drivability expert would be gone for a week on vacation, and just shrugged his shoulders at me. This was a Sunday, so no one mentioned this to me 20 minutes earlier when the insurance company called to check if they were open. Plus, this place has huge glass windows, and he could see the tow truck putting my truck down, but waits until its completely unloaded, and Im all the way inside before telling me this. While Im not a mechanic, the fact that Im bringing it in on flatbed should tell you its not able to be driven! No courtesy or consideration at all. He was 5 feet from the door, and was perfectly content to sit there and watch me like it was funny. When I asked if he could at least tell me where the next location is, he just shrugged his shoulders again and kept staring. I was so frustrated at this point, I had tell the tow truck driver to put it back on the truck then call the insurance company to take it somewhere else. This Firestone was a terrible experience, and I will never bring my vehicle there again.

If I could give a 0 I would have. I brought my 2012 Silver Chevy Cruze into this Firestone. Mind you when I pulled in the clerk said he could hear my fans because they are that loud (due to some unknown reason). I took my car in with a loud fan, valve cover issue & a check engine light. I left just with a fixed valve cover. Mind you the valve cover is still leaking oil which I paid $400+. The check engine light was never read (which I dont think the customer has to tell a mechanic to read lights) and the fan situation was never looked into. I got my car back and questioned them on why the light was still on the car or what was the problem. The clerk I dealt with first stated it was not looked into. If you knew the valve cover was not the cause right away, why wasnt these noticeable problems looked into and told to the customer. I mean I was told a belt needed to be fixed that I didnt ask you about. My car is now stalling terribly, the check engine light is still on and the valve cover/gasket that I paid $400+ for still is leaking oil??????????? Im a female that got taken advantage of because a job was not well done here.

Check that your lug nuts are tightened before you leave.

Way over priced I am a mechanic but I had to take a company vehicle vehicle for an a,c check and they quoted me without even looking at the problem 1,500. The only thing that needs replaced is the a,c clutch which I can do in 20 mins or less one bolt and its out. Ridiculous!!

Firestone has come a long way in regard to reputation. Had a brother in-law who worked there in the 80s - early 2000s and heard plenty of stories in regard to dishonesty. They appear to be trying to repair the damage. I personally have not experienced any issues with them at the Sanford location.

My car had soft pedal because the Nissan dealership were not able to bleed the brakes when changing the brake pads and made a huge mess of my brake system. So I came to Firestone. Firestone did an initial check and recommended lots of things such as rotors, brake pads (front & rear) and also MASTER CYLINDER. I was sure that master cylinder was good and it is just air in the brake system but they still insisted its gone bad. Firestone guys even had a test drive of my car. I was not convinced of their inspection, proposed fix and the quote of $2100, so I took it to Duffys. Duffys were able to identify that there is air in the ABS system and were able to fix in half hour, charging $50. I was really shocked with the way Firestone performed their analysis and gave me a quote to fix. Would not recommend them.

My wife and I found ourselves in Sanford in our motor home with 3 dogs and towing a small car that developed a serious mechanical problem. We needed help soon. I called Maus Chevrolet, Pep Boys, Joes, and Extreme. None offered the least help or showed any interest in out problem. Then called Firestone and they were outstanding. Lee told me to bring the car in the next morning and it ran well enough to make the short trip. Lee, Robert and expert mechanic, Oliver took super care of us, driving me back to our RV park to wait for repairs. I dont normally do reviews, and this one is about 2 weeks over due, but the the service I had over at the Sanford Firestone was incredible. The week before I wasnt too happy because I brought my truck in for a balance rotation and alignment on my 2500, but I got there and no one had a 7/8th deep thin wall socket for my wheels. So they were able to balance and rotate my tires.. but no aliment, so I had to take it somewhere else. About a week after I spoke with the manager Robert, and he took off 25 bucks for the alignment to come back in. Well.. my batteries died on my truck so it wouldnt be until a week and a half later until I could do it. I called back and spoke to Robert again and he still honored the $25 discount for me, which was huge for me because I just spent over $250 in batteries. Oliver was tech that took care of me, and let me tell you.. this guy was awesome. I spent about 3 hours there and didnt mind a second of it because the job it self was done quite fast and efficiently. Oliver pointed out all the other issues with my truck that I was worried about, I mean EVERYTHING. I felt like a first class customer, and for 60.00 bucks and change I payed.. the customer service was impeccable. Oliver had me look at the truck and showed me every little nitty gritty issue and had a story behind it. He even had me get in the truck and had me make sure the alignment was up to my specifications and my liking. Nick was also inside and gave me great advise, and helped me with my paper work. Ill tell you what, what a great bunch of guys, I live over in Lake Mary, and Im going to make Sanford Firestone my primary location to bring my Dodge, or my wifes Civic than anywhere if I can help it, if its something Ill need a hand with or cant do it myself. Robert, Nick and Oliver are real stand up guys, and I think anyone needing to get work done on their vehicle and dont feel like getting screwed over and getting their moneys worth need to visit this store.

Since moving to Sanford I switched Firestone location from the Longwood office over here to the Sanford office on 46th which is 1st Street and my favorite mechanic is here he left the Longwood office of few years ago and I found him again up here and Im thrilled because he always gave me excellent customer service he always did great work and I can have my car worked on and leave it in trusting hands at this Firestone location that I can depend on

Horrible service 2 employees tried over charging me because I am a lady. Wanted me to pay $44 for a standard oil change.

Needs to be a real good alignment specialist

I made an appointment to have them patch or plug one of my tires that have a nail in it. This doesnt take long anywhere else I go but because I have warranty on my tires with them I figured I have them do the job. Appointment was at 2pm and they didnt pull the car in until 3pm. What are appointments for?!

Called to verify they had time to do an alignment. Showed up with high performance vehicle that carries a lifetime alignment I purchased with modifications on vehicle already. Turned me down saying they were busy when I arrived and saw the vehicle. LOUSY.... Go to Longwood Firestone and have Ruben do the work instead, and see my review on that store as well!

We came here at 330 for an oil change, they close at 5, they said they wouldnt have enough time. Initially, no one approached us either.

Great price and friendly people, but they installed one of the four tires backwards and it required a trip back to the shop. They were very apologetic and fixed it in about ten minutes, just a hassle.

They are two-faced. I came to this location not once but twice and both times my stuff was rummage through. And both times they said “ we had to look for the key in order to change your tires “. last I checked in order for you to find where a key is you would have to go in through the trunk where the spare tire is or you could contact the customer and ask them. Not a trustworthy location at all and as for management they do nothing when reported.
