My gf and I came here to get some make up for her and the staff was exceptional and she loved what they recommended
Young ladies that work in this store are never very friendly OR helpful. They act like they dont really like theyre job. Well I wont be returning. On top of that theyre always out of products just like the one in Daytona beach. ☹☹
3 months ago this store was given 1 star for a situation based on my race. I had ordered something online and was hoping it would just be in by my birthday...I had to do a quick run in the mall so I dropped in (sephora) for a quick check to see if maybe it was in store and quickly left when I saw that it wasnt...the worker at the checkout yelled to someone as I was leaving after Only staring at me...and Im pretty sure it was to check me out....I was so angry and embarrassed. I said I would never return to this store. I would NEVER steal!
Nice collection.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Extremely poor customer service experience. I was looking for a product that doesnt have perfume in it because of my allergies. I specified this with Erica. I also informed her of the brand I normally use. She mentioned a couple of brands, none of which were what I was looking for, but no problem since Im open to new brands. She brought me to a display of products that contain perfume. I reiterated the issue with products containing perfume. I found the brand I was initially looking for on my own. When I asked Erica for her opinion on a color, she angrily responded, I tried helping you but you cant wear anything. At that point I left without making a purchase.
Great price and they have a lot of items to choose from.
Love Sephora!! Wish you had freestanding stores here.
Poor customer service
I used to like this store, but it has gone downhill as of late. They used to have great staff and carried a wide variety of the products I was looking for. Now they seem to be always out of everything I want (even things that arent super popular or in at the moment) and (at least the times I have been in there) seem to be lacking in the customer service department. Havent had any terrible experience at this location thankfully, but it is in need of some revamping.
Very friendly and helpful.
Let me just start by saying RICARDO made my entire experience. If not for him, I would not be taking the time to leave this review.I am getting married next month. Like most people my age, I have YouTube & instagram so I didnt really feel I needed to have someone do my makeup, and ive never considered setting down for the free mini makeovers at sephora.I went to sephora with an online list of things I wanted to try out and buy. Ricardo offered to help me out but at first I was stubborn like I gooooottttt thiiissss!! But soon realized I did not have it.Ricardo was so helpful. As soon as I told him I changed my mind and wpuld like some advice he immediately stopped what he was doing. He sat me down and did the cool skin tone matcher thing. Then brought out all the products that would be usful. He made sure to pull out products that were in my price range. He walked me through step by step techniques I can use for the day of, even letting me do the other half of my face on my own so I could get a feel for how to do it myself. He gave me amazing and personalized tips I havent found anywhere else through my hours of google and pinterest searches. He was kind, funny, considerate and personable. He made my whole experience more than what I expected and I left extremely confident in the products I purchased.I hope he gets a raise or promotion. Everything Sephora basically has the same products, the employees are what make or break this storefront. I live in altamonte but will travel to sanford to see him from now on. Kudos to him 🥰
Almost every skincare tester in this store is either very obviously expired (smells awful - products I already own and know don’t smell like this) or are extremely dirty on the inside that I legit wanted to throw up on a couple of occasions. Girls are nice but the level of hygiene in this store needs a lot of work. I typically drop no less than $300 every visit to Sephora because but this is the first Sephora store I couldn’t wait to get out of.
Never enough help. They have one person running the counter and the makeover booth. They should have at least 2 people on the floor so customers dont feel as if theyre a bother. Theyre also always out of products. Id rather drive further out to one of the larger Sephoras to get better service and know that Ill be able to leave with products in hand. I feel bad for the employees because its not their fault that theyre so short handed but it deters me from going to this Sephora.
Worst sephora Ive ever been in if I could give it zero stars I would. Went in to load up on my products usually spend a few hundred dollars when I go. I couldnt get one employee to assist me on new products. I guess socializing with other employees and friends was more important than actually making a sale for the company. Good job! Keep up the outstanding work girls!
I went here for birthday I received a full make over ! I was very impress, Im so sorry I dont remember makeup artist name but she was great ! She was the only one who actually ever Matched my tones and colors right and all thanks a lot mystery lady in Sanford mall 😊 She was white and Im black and she matched the perfect makeup for me forever makeup was the brand I purchased
Brandi and the rest of the staff are incredibly awesome and helpful! Best Sephora experience Ive had in my 10 years of shopping for Sephora. Will always come back to this location ❤️
Have been to this Sephora multiple times and the attendants/MUAs will very rarely try to help you if you don’t call to them or corner them. They would rather look past you or avoid eye contact. There was a long line to check out so I was in a hurry to leave, and the cashier didn’t even give me a receipt. As a result, I ended up picking the wrong shade for myself (because no help) and couldn’t return/exchange it.
Prices going up while economy goes down.
I walked up to the counter and asked if Bosica was cruelty-free and they said no. I have never been given such attitude.. As Im walking away one of the girls with glasses and a high ponytail start chuckling and scoffing, I turn around and saw the three girls who were standing at the counter laughing, one whos thin and black, another heavy set with glasses and the other girl with the high pony. Not going there EVER again!!!
All I have to say is Mickey😍👌🏽🏅...AMAZING! Sephora is lucky to have her!
Amazing staff!!! They recently replaced 100% of their employees and I am SO happy they did!! The two women who were working today (one was called Milena) were not only friendly, but so extremely knowledgeable! They were eager to help customers and were very thorough with everything they did. Over the last few years Ive been coming in less and less along with leaving a 2 star review for this place because of their terrible customer service... UNTIL NOW! Good job, Sephora! Ill be coming in quite a bit now! Here is my previous review for reference:Sephora employees inside JCP are just ok at actually knowing their product. I am a picky person when it comes to paying $50-200 for only 1 product (who wouldnt be??) and so I ask questions while visiting in 2, sometimes 3, trips to the store before I finally decide to buy. Every employee gives me different answers to the same questions so this makes it worse. If I decide to return something, EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE gives me absolute hell for doing so. They go from happy and friendly to snotty brats in an instant as if this is somehow a personal offense to them. One girl said, I love this product, I dont know whats wrong with you. You must not know much about makeup. (Ive been a VIB member since around 2007 who spends a TON of money at this store AND I get the Sephora Play box every month, so yes I do know what I like) Every single one says that I need to look around for an exchange before they will give me my money back and only if I dont find something else. Do they get commission or in trouble for returns? I dont get it. From now on I am strictly buying from the Sephora app, even if it takes weeks for my orders to arrive, just so I dont have to deal with this nonsense again.
Love!! Clean, always helpful. I always love going to Sephora to see the new products and learning how to use them!
Hands down best experience Ive ever had purchasing make up. Brandi and Daniella were extremely helpful and kind by helping me find the right shades and products for my awful skin. 💞💞💞
If I could give a place zero stars, I would. I brought my grandmother in today to have a mini makeover done. They said that they only do makeovers on Saturdays and that the 15 minute look was onlu one part or an application. I have a VIB Rogue card and enough points for the free makeover. They had no one else in the store. Sorry but thats ridiculous to turn away customers.
I went to Sephora inside JcPenney at the Sanford mall on Sunday. Cindy was really nice. She helped me with the Fenty product to find the perfect shade for my skin. Even though product wasnt in stock, I had other options of purchasing online in store or in my own time. I just loved the customer service. The other employee who was near the registers was friendly and greeted me as well. The atmosphere and vibe was great! If I ever need any thing from Sephora, I would definitely make this location my 1st choice!
Awe people great service amazing products
Awesome knowledgable staff. Experienced, educated and a pleasure to shop with!
Honestly the staff is great but is brought down by the manager Brandy. She has a negative attitude and doesnt seem to do much work.
I purchased the too faced peach palette online because it was not in stores yet and I wanted it before Christmas. When I received it.. I hated it. It did not show up on my skin at all. I went to this location to return it 2 days before Christmas with my 3 daughters age 9, 6 and 5 months old. It clearly stated on the invoice that I could return it for a full refund. The sales associate(Marilyn) said that I was only able to exchange it because they were in a JCpennys. I knew she wasnt being honest but I didnt feel like causing a problem so I tried to look for something I needed to refill. Everything I use was either out of stock or not sold there. The stuff they did have looked like it had a million hands on it. Everything looked dirty and gross. The mall was super crowded and because I had my children I gave up. I called Sephora and they assured me the store should have given me my money back. I went to the Sephora in Altamonte Mall Jcpenneys and they refunded no problem. I will now purchase my makeup from Ulta or Nordstrom.
Basic jewelry Price more than expected for quality
Love the staff always helpful
The staff was great! They helped me find what i needed and helped with answering any questions I had.
Rude salesperson, I went in to buy a few of the Murad product line items, but had a coupon for a free item. I asked the salesperson if they had anymore of the free item, and he informed me they did not. I then continued to look at the other Murad items and asked basic questions to which he did not seem knowledgeable and could care less that I was clearly standing there clueless. I felt that since I did not offer than I had intended to purchase products including the interest in using the free item he did not want to provide his assistance, and was more interested in talking with what appeared to be a JCP employee.Needless to say I will not be shopping here for any other Murad products, and will ether order directly from the manufacturer or go to Ulta where I have heard they have better service.
Very good
This store is sad and deceitful. Lied to me twice on their return policy only to find out they did it to boost sales.
Horrible service, staff had an attitude
Nice store
Brandy was great.
