Some staff more helpful than others. Tried tinting my eyebrow. The tech was so sweet and professional. I would gladly go back yo her. Prices seem to be a bit high on everything whether a known or unknown label. Not too many sales. Nice clean store!
Blair has seen me twice for eye brow tint and waxing. This last visit she also applied eyelashes. She has done a phenomenally job both times. I absolutely love my brows. They look naturally full and are shaped great for my face. I definitely recommend her services. I know Ill be back!
I absolutely love the Benefit Brow Services at this location! Blair is not only the best! She is professional, sweet and I highly recommend her! Blair gives great recommendations, and always has your best interests in mind and heart!! She is definitely one of a kind! She has my lifetime services on brows! I recently visited to get a new Nars lip pencil. I have been wearing the same color for years and they were sold out. I wish I had gotten their names, but several women working were so nice and helpful. They took the time to show me another brand in a similar color. I didnt feel pressured to buy it, but they were so knowledgeable I figured why not! I absolutely LOVE it and it stays on much better than the Nars.
Blair is by far the greatest when it comes to dying and waxing my brows. I had thin brows from over plucking in the 70’s, and I actually have brows again. Using the benefit products she has recommended did increase the hair growth! She is also caring, friendly yet very professional! I wouldn’t go to anyone else!
Melissa from the salon is amazing. She spent 5 hours with me to make sure I was completely happy. I started with hair that has not been cut for almost a year. She did amazing color and definitely gained a client for life. Highly recommend her. Everyone was so friendly.
I had a benefit brow appointment booked for over a week, I called ahead of time to let them know I was running a couple of minutes late since I was driving from over 30 mins away and got stuck in traffic when I showed up, they had cancelled my appointment and gave it to someone who had walked in within the minutes I was late. They told me they wouldnt be able to fit me in till 5pm or a week later. Ive been coming to this brow bar for years but honestly would not come again after being treated like that.
I just had the pleasure of meeting and shopping with Moraima. I ordered online and came early (by accident) — instead of making me come back tomorrow or wait, she walked me through the store and shopped for my items. Jennifer at the salon did such an amazing job. I got my hair styled and make up done for engagement photos. Its not often I leave feeling like hair and makeup was right on point. She listened and really worked hard to give me what I wanted even with my very minimal direction. Im very grateful for her knowledge and skill. Highly recommend going to her.
Will never be giving another dime to this large business. Walked in my local Ulta store today to purchase shampoo, conditioner, & makeup. Before I could make it half way through the store was told I must leave because was not wearing a face mask. They were extremely rude. You cannot force patrons to wear masks. The CDC guidelines do not require masks. Some customers have medical conditions in which wearing a mask is not feasible. Just want to give other patrons a heads up that this store does not support customers with disabilities.
Went to get my hair done. Booked an apt for 630pm. Stylist was on time. Very nice young lady. $105 for highlights. 🤷🏻♀️ nice job. I love my hair.
I have been a client of Jen’s for almost a year now. I have very frizzy, unmanageable hair that gives me a lot of problems with styling and color. She has transformed my hair into a whole new me. From color to style Jen is amazing. It takes a certain personality, patience, knowledge, taking the time to really listen and do the right thing for your hair and genuinely cares. That is why I see Jen. I highly recommend Jen for any and all hair needs.
This location doesnt carry most of the products I look for unlike the one closer to me, but it is a good second option if my store doesnt have a particular item in stock. The store always seems clean and organized and the staff has been helpful and friendly. Wish they would expand their skin care section a bit more especially the K-Beauty as it is what I buy most, but otherwise its good if youre in the area and are in need of something from them.

I went in to see what i could do about my hair, it was an absolute mess! mickey was my stylist and guided me through everything. she was patient, thorough, and all around awesome! after countless salon nightmares i was extremely nervous to change up my hair, but she was reassuring and explained the whole process! her time management skills are amazing and she made me feel very comfortable along the way. i can’t wait to come back for my second session! there’s no other stylist i would rather have do my hair! i’m so happy with the results! thank you mickey!

VISIT MICKEY!!I was hesitant to try a new stylist right before taking family pictures, but I must say, DO NOT FEAR with Mickey at Ulta. The appointment setting process online was super easy. I scheduled my appointment about a week in advance for a Sunday afternoon. I contacted Mickey via a search on Facebook and she was very nice and welcoming to my inquiries. On the day of my appointment when I arrived, I was greeted promptly by another stylist and offered water while I waited (I was early). Mickey got right down to business (on-time) and I loved the finished product! I would definitely recommend her. She was a joy to talk to and made the whole process just fabulous. She is very knowledgeable and great at what she does. Thanks Mickey for my lovely hair.
I’ve never been here but my rating concerns advertisement. Not sure what strategy/strategies you use to advertise but Ulta has become a booming brand all over the world. It’s all over social media. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up. I’m sure your merchandise is valued by many people.
I was at this location last week to get my hair done with hair stylist Jennifer Morales and it was one of the best experiences ever. She was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will be recommending her and this location to my family and friends.
Associates are very friendly and attentive to customers. Store was in need of product. Empty pegs and holes dominated the cosmetic area. This area looked like the store was going out of business.

Just left Ulta in Sanford and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a beauty supply store. One of the managers (the one with black/green hair) was extremely rude and when an associate asked her a question on my behalf, she literally rolled her eyes. The associates for the most part are very sweet, but the management is ridiculously terrible! I don’t think they know the definition of what decent customer service is suppose to be. Definitely going back to Sephora (my usual spot) next time. In fact, the only reason I decided to give Ulta a try was because I received a gift card. Definitely not going back though.

Went to pick up one of their specials-- buy 2 get 1 free styling products. Didnt have much stock. Only had one can of the type I wanted. I ended up finding 3 products. According to the email I received I was to get a special free gift with purchase. The cashier didnt know anything about it and couldnt locate any. She didnt ask another associate. Disappointed customer.

Everyone is very sweet here right up until you won’t give your phone number and join their club. Then the mood changes dramatically and they are downright rude. I’ll say thank you and have a nice day as I’m leaving and not a word back to me. Last I checked the store should be the ones saying thank you as you leave. Instead it’s a dirty look. This happens every single time. I only go here for one item because I can’t get it anywhere else and don’t want to pay shipping.
No one was willing to help. I had to walk around to find someone that worked and was not trying to ignore the customers. The line was 20+ people deep. When I did get a less than friendly employee to help me turned out they didnt have what I needed. I left and went 5 minutes away to Sephora where there was a nice person working who was happy to help. I will not likely waste my time in Ulta again!

I would this a zero star rating if I could. The manager of the store is unprofessional and has no customer service skills. Instead of listening to my question when asking for help she instead chit chats with another employee and only listens to about a 1/3 of what I had said and walks away from me. And even after that she just decides to pass me off to a different employee. Very unprofessional and lazy. I will never shop at this Ulta again I would advise you all do the same.

Kudos to the young girl who asked if she could help me find something. I showed her the empty product bottle i had purchased at Riley Rose and asked if they carried it. She didn’t know, so asked a stylist who didn’t think so, then she tried to find it in their system and couldn’t. This brings them from a 2 Star to a 3. But the disappointing thing here, is, that you had a product bottle I liked in your hand, and failed to show me similar products at your store. I ended up ordering mine online again, as this seems to be what happens when I go into actual stores these days sadly

I had an appointment with Brenna today which was booked in advance online. I came in around 6:50pm for my 7pm appointment. The stylist came out and didnt have a clue about my appointment. She couldnt fit me in today because her previous person took longer than expected... first time going there to try their services and the last time Ill be attempting to try their service. Very disappointed.It was too late to get anyone else to see me and it was a waste of my time.I would have been nice to have been notified in advance.I will not be recommending anyone to this location.

Store employees suppose to be helpful not harassing and unwelcoming. I’ve been a patron for since 2011 in NYC to Florida and when you Purchase regularly and return things that don’t work for you amd keep the ones that do, you don’t treat your customers with rudeness and bad attitudes. I pay a lot of money for my cosmetics and to feel harassed or uncomfortable for returning things that have no value to me personally is not a pass to make a customer feel uncomfortable. Shame on Ulta Employees. I am. Cosmotologist and this is not acceptable customer service.

The stylist was wonderful. I had used Ultas online reservation and scheduled to have my makeup done as well. Even though I scheduled with a makeup artist there were actually none in the store at the time of my appointment. I was really disappointed.

The best experience! Was there with my 18yr old during the 21 Days of Beauty sale. She had an idea of the items she was looking for however she suffers from anxiety. Needless to say she doesnt like to ask for help. A young man approached me and asked if I needed help. Welp, I said no however I have a young lady looking for the perfect red lipstick. He yelled and said I just happened to have it here in my pocket, havent had the chance to put it on yet. Yes, ladies he wears it. His name is Nick. Nick then proceeded to show us and yes it was perfect for her fair skin and blonde hair. Go check him and his knowledge out. You wont go wrong with Nick. Great experience and sale too.
Ive made 2 eyebrow waxing appointments. Showed up to them only to find out the specialist was either not in, or cancelled. I was not notified or given a follow-up appointment. There was no Im sorry for your inconvenience. Sales associates dont look happy either. Its as if they dont want to be there. I do not recommend this location.
This Ulta looks a LOT better than the last time I was here; its cleaned up, and theyve turned the lights on. Will definitely visit again.Edit: several months later, all the lights are on, always. The aisles are clean and well-stocked, broken cosmetics arent sitting out for sale anymore, and the employees are active, walking around cleaning, stocking, and helping, not clustered at the front of a dark store gossiping and ignoring the fact that it looked like a busload of kindergarteners had spent the morning playing in there. If I had to guess, Id say that Ulta saw the same problems as I did, and has corrected them. As a result, Ive re-rated this Ulta. THANK YOU.

Lighting out front is broken currently and the selection is small compared to other ultas Ive been to. Still one of my favourite makeup stores, but I hate walking into a place I feel like is closed or closing..took a bit to find some customer service. Also the layout at this one is a little confusing, and I could not find any Urban Decay eyelashes on site. Still prefer Ulta over Sephora and theyll always get $1000s yearly😂

I absolutely love ULTA but in the recent months it seem the management has changed and doesnt seem like they care about the costumers or the workers there. I recently went I as usually do an to my surprise 2 of my fave people there were leaving when I asked why only thing they said was that things there are changing, specally with management. I am very sad to see them go. If ULTA really cares they would do something about it.

I went to the orange city location, and the manager is always nasty..then the product I went for was sold out...so I had her call the Sanford location. When I was told that they had one left..I asked if they had it and she said yes.. so I asked which one and she responded, well there are only two colors and you would be medium dark...you wouldnt be light to medium...in front of everyone..sometimes its just better to ask than assume which one first...my daughter is white. And maybe Im getting them as a gift...I gave 3 stars for calling..this is not the first time Ive been treated that way..

DO NOT LET SHELBY DO YOUR HAIR!!! Ive never written an online review before & Im not one to complain about anything! However, my experience at this Salon was such a horrific nightmare. I had an appointment scheduled with SHELBY to have my hair colored the night before my best friends wedding which I was a bridesmaid in. By 9pm Shelby was finishing rinsing the dye from my hair. She said she didnt have time to blow dry it because they close at 9, Im not a picky person so I was fine that my hair didnt get blow dryed but as my hair started drying in the car ride I looked in the mirror and saw green. (Now I know why she didnt want to blow dry it- when soaking wet I couldnt tell) MY ENTIRE WHOLE HEAD OF HAIR WAS GREEN THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING! I was in town just for the wedding but had to cancel everything planned that night with the bride & wedding party to spend the entire night drenching my hair in ketchup with a cap and blowdrying to get most of the green out. I got 2 hours of sleep that night and I went back the next morning to talk to a manager ( I also had an appointment set for that morning with Shelby to get my hair styled for the wedding.) When I arrived, she was in the middle of doing another customers hair and claimed she wouldnt have time to style my hair (although I had an appointment set and she knew I was in the wedding & couldnt reschedule) I didnt want her touching my hair anyway after it had turned green the night before but it was the principal of the matter. When I asked to talk to a manager she claimed the manager was currently busy and that no one would be able to style my hair at that time. Furious and did not want to leave without talking to the manager but I was now in a hurry to try to find any salon close by that could quickly do something to my hair before the wedding. With no such luck on that short of notice I had to show up to my best friends wedding with my hair tinted green and not styled, my eyes puffy from crying all night because of this incident -Im sure my bf will love all the professional wedding photos that Im in! This happened December 15th, the issue was not ressolved with corporate until yesterday Feb. 6th (almost 2 months later!) The first 3 weeks I tried getting a hold of the manager at the salon store for my refund since I live out of town and couldnt go directly back to the store, but everytime I called I was told the manager wasnt in and would call me back... Ofcourse I didnt recieve a call back or voicemail, email, nothing so finally after 3 weeks of trying to contact her and no response I started calling corporate. Getting a hold of a manager there at corporate was another headache in itself. They were suppose to overnight a check to me for my refund since this has been an on going issue for 2 months now but I didnt recieve anything in the mail today so we will see where this ends up! Regardless the refund Ive been fighting for for TWO MONTHS is not worth my hair being permanently damaged and breaking off!!
This Ulta is a complete joke. I have worked for Ulta in the past and our managers would never approve of how some of these employees treat the customers. Most of them act stuck up with non-helpful attitudes. I understand customer service does take a toll on workers, but you still have to accommodate customers. I have never been asked if I was finding everything okay, even when I was obviously struggling to find a foundation color that was not in stock. I have been approached by employees, but only to make sure I wasnt stealing anything, and even then they dont say anything. They just stare at you and walk away. The ONLY good part about this Ulta is the salon. My hair stylist is Jerard and I am sure there are many other fantastic hair stylists here as well. The salon staff is very nice and I highly recommend them for any of the salon services. The sales employees and managers are rude as hell. Really dissappointment that a company that I am proud of is not doing the proper protocol expected of employees when dealing with customers. Also, the makeup stations are absolutely filthy, no one wants to look at someone elses makeup on white stations.
I just got home from one of the most disappointing experiences at Ulta I have ever had. Im not normally one to peep about anything ever, however I feel so disrespected right now. I went to this Ulta location because it was the closest location to me and I had done my online reserch for a particular brand that I was interested in purchasing. Instead of purchasing online I decided to go instore. As I approched the till, I was assisted by a young man. He proceeded to ring up my items and I noticed on the screen that the products that I was purchasing at the time that was buy 1 get, get 1 50% off was not ringing up properly. I then asked the young man if the products were indeed buy 1 get 1 50% off, and in a rude manner said no. I told him that online the products were discounted and I was sure that brand had stickers marked on those products and he still in a rude manner said no. Instead of simply asking some assistance from a co-worker to double check the discount, I had to remove myself from the line to remove one of the stickers that said buy 1 get 1 50% off!!!!! Once I retrived the sticker, I had to wait back in line. Needless to say, I will probably never return to purchase any items from that Ulta location again.
