This location was one of the smallest I’ve ever been to. The staff is nice and they try to help, but the store is just too small, so the selection dwindles, and they never have what they advertise online or on commercials. It’s disappointing being told to always go to the Oviedo location - that’s almost 30 minutes away and not very ideal. Balloons and birthday party supplies are plentiful here, though. Halloween is looking skinny and non-stocked.I wish this location would expand into a larger store elsewhere. I never go here with good expectations to find what I’m walking in and looking for, and sadly, I’m usually right.

One of the worst experiences I have had at a Party City. We have 2-3 big parties a year and have always used party city as a main source for goods. We spent over $1,000 at Party City in the last month and our local store didn’t have enough supplies so we drove 45 minutes away to go to the Sanford store. The attendant working was Desirae and she was extremely rude right from the begin. She didn’t want to be bothered or help us at all. We needed balloons blown up and she acted like we were really bothering her by asking. She would not direct us to other supplies we needed just pointed in the back of the store when we asked her where something was. She does not need to be working in a retail store where you need customer service.She makes Party City look really bad and also makes me question rather to ever visit that location again.

The staff sometimes arent helpful but they have lots of stuff in all kinds of colors at fine prices. 👍🏻

Terrible Covid 19 protocol. Mask is optional. No social distancing. Place super crowded. Went to buy balloons, I was informed I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes; when I asked if I could be waiting on the curbside pickup area, they told me that is only if you order online. So, I left and came back to pickup the balloons.

Absolutely nothing left for Halloween! But, that is great for the store!!! Hoping the employees were able to get weekly hours and a decent paycheck and this pandemic. Store was a wreck, but that was because of the patrons in the building making a mess.

The cashier was one of the most customer service oriented people I have ever ran into (wish I got her name). If this PC was by my house Id use them for all events because of her.

We went there today to pick up my daughters Halloween costume. It literally took us 5 min from when we walked in the door all the way to check out. There was a gentleman helping us at the costume wall. We immediately spotted the costume we had found online. They had one size left and it was the size we needed! We walked back to the table and were handed the costume as soon as we walked up. We needed a fake knife that wasnt included with the costume. It was pictured on the costume package so we easily located and matched the exact knife we needed. The checkout line moved very quickly and we were out the door before we knew it. We got home and realized a major part of the costume was not in the package! It was the mask. It was literally the most important part of the costume. We called the store and spoke to the manager Ashley. She located the mask, apologized and put it up front with our name on it so we could come by and get it at our earliest convenience. My husband went right back to the store and got the mask with no issues. I cant say enough about the efficiency and fantastic customer service this location offered. The costume was also cheaper in store then it was online! We will be shopping here from now on for all of our costume needs!

Definitely a place to shop for birthday parties or any other parties. Has items to shop for graduation, Halloween, weddings, birthdays etc. themed birthday decoration sets or items. Birthday party favors starting from 25 cents each :)

I have been to this place many times this year for my party needs. I purchased two red latex balloons “It” themed, they came in a bag of two. I got them a few weeks before my sons birthday party to ensure they didn’t run out. My husband took them back to be filled up the day of his party 7.99 EACH to fill! Two red small latex balloons ended up costing $20 plus tax. That’s ridiculous.If you need balloons go to the Dollar Tree $1 for the balloon which INCLUDES helium. I won’t be going back to this store. Party supplies will comes from amazon from now on.Halloween costumes are far superior at Spirit Halloween also.

They have everything you need to throw a great party.

They raised the price on their cards. It was the cheapest place in town to purchase cards for any occasion. Before the price change cards was $1 now they are priced as marked. Thats the only reason I rated so low other than that they have different party supplies variety of colors.

I love Party City! I can always find exactly what I am looking for there. from the most casual of gatherings to higher end events, Party City has exactly what I need to make my event a step above all others!

Placed order online as requested by store, they claim the credit card transaction was on hold, called credit card company and they said the charge indeed went thru, called store back and they cancelled order while waiting for me to verify. Went to store to complete transaction and they would not accept payment there as they were offering curbside pick up only. Very unhelpful staff and a very poorly executed plan of how to process orders during Covid. Wasted over 2 hours trying to this resolved and ended up not being able to get the order.

Loved that a military discount was offered. I ordered what I needed myself on there online order kiosk and received free shipping. The kiosk computer is super old and slow though which made my ordering process take way longer than I wanted it too. Staff was friendly and helpful

My husband and I went in today to buy an accessory for a costume. We took our 8lb poodle in a dog stroller and she was strapped in. A very nice lady came up to us and said to not let the dog on the ground because they have chocolate. I told her that we wouldnt because she was strapped in. The girl said ok and even spoke with us. She said if we needed anything to let her know. I wish we would have got her name because she was nice. A few minutes later, some blond girl came and told us they dont allow dogs because of the candy and I said my dog is strapped in. Then she said it was because of dander. I told her my dog is a poodle. She doesnt even shed. Then she says we just dont allow it. So whats the real reason? That little girl was rude and nasty. There is no sign on the door that says no dogs allowed. She really needs to take some classes in customer service and learn how to speak to people that enter that establishment.

Over priced, but great for balloons when unable to locate elsewhere. Service is meh, I typically purchase party supplies from the Dollar Tree when able. Literally the same paper products, especially considering everything will end in the trash. I do however recommend for Halloween supplies.

If I could give less of a star I would. I called with a question and the guy who answered the phone sat there silent for at least a minute before whispering pretty much “hello” then I replied asking if I had called the right number because I was expecting an actual greeting like normal people do on the phone when you call a business. Then when I asked my question his reply (again in a whisper) “ya nah we don’t have connections like that” then hung up. I’m pretty sure he was high.

Every time I go here I am overwhelmed by the sheer amount of merchandise to choose from!!! Today I was trying to find mini single lights to put on top of a headband (like Mantis from Guardians of the Galaxy) and an employee named Jason went all around the store showing me different kinds I could use for my makeshift costume in the most RANDOM of places so I could get the best possible product for the cheapest price. I visited 6 stores before coming here and he finished the costume in minutes. Just WOW.

Very big Selection! I needed drink cups and had to buy many for $6. After the party I discovered less expensive at Publix. Several of us waited and waited to check out, finally another lady came and helped. Waiting in line I learned there are coupons on the website, on the cell phone.

Oh my goodness...this is the ultimate place to come to for anything, ( parties, stocking stuffers, Easter basket, any holiday event. Even surprise lil gifts for co workers, friends, letter friends. Having a blah day walk in here and a huge happy moment will come upon you.

The employees at Party City are wonderful! I was in a huge rush when I came in to get balloons for a party I was running late for. They understood my dilemma and immediately went to work! They put together an awesome arrangement for me and got me checked out quickly. The lady checking me out even brought my receipt to me as I waited. They were great and helped me to make it to the party right on time. You guys rock!

Literally took me 35 minutes to get 10 balloons. Need quicker staff. It was like watching paint dry and it took me over 5 minutes to even be spoken to waiting at balloon area. 29 bucks for 10 helium ballons was a little crazy as well.

Went to grab all the decorations for the Superbowl party I was hosting. I found everything that I needed and didnt need. I love this place.

We went here to find glasses Crazy Ones, and a hat a top hat for an Elton John concert. We couldnt find the crazy glasses we were looking for we finally end up finding them at Target on accident but everybody complimented the Top Hat at the concert

Not the best customer service. Takes them forever to add a cashier from one when theres a long line. Overall the store is good for finding items not sold at other stores.

I had a masquerade party to go to and Party City had exactly what I needed. It was a little hard to find exactly what I wanted because they were shuffling stuff around. That said I found an awesome mask that worked perfectly.

The staff doesnt seem to know the importance of customer service or just common courtesy.

Customer service is severely lacking at this location. I saw 4 employees during the hour I was in the store. Not a single one even acknowledged me or spoke to me to see if they could assist me in any way. They were too busy chatting with each other over their headsets (inappropriate chatting I might add). The first time I was acknowledged was when I walked up to the counter to check out, to which the employee simply stated Email?. Aside from the non-existent customer service, the store was a mess. It seemed like I had to move carts full of merchandise to find things in every aisle. I will remember this and shop somewhere else for my future party needs.

Worst customer service possible! Crystal should never have become a manager. Has anyone ever seen her smile? She certainly didnt smile during any interactions with customers today. I really dont understand how someone could be so rude and be responsible for teaching others. Everyone else was kind and helpful, to the point that I thought they were joking when they said shes the manager and theres no one in the store to complain to about her severe attitude problem. For a simple return of napkins in packaging which has never been opened or damaged, ready to put back on a shelf, well within 30 days, with original receipt and card, a customer should not have to call the 800 number to get things resolved. It took about 45 minutes. Todays transaction was an ordeal that Ill quickly try to forget! Ill never step foot in a party city again, thanks to Crystal!

2 days a go I bought a body suit for my daughter in the process I asked the cashier if it was the wrong size if I could exchange it or return it, I was told yes!! Well here I am standing in front of a cashier with a name tag chief been denied!! When asked for a MOD no one would come to attend to this issue they would only communicate with the cashier via radio!? So disappointed at their customer service!!!

They have good things that you need for a special event and their serves is very good and positive they have limited things and they make sure they never run out of and object their always one step ahead if something is wrong or out of place so they can get it done so they can check people out.

As much as I have used Party City for over 35 years I was truly disappointed on this visit. One person in the entire store poor girl. She was not just the cashier but was working the floor also. I asked her Id ahe could ask someone to help me and she said the other person was in the back. Although the wall was full of helium ballons, she informed me I couldnt buy any since they has no helium. I asked of I could purchase a few of the ones that were on display but was told nope. I could however purchase small ones to inflate myself ahe informed me. No bueno

Was refused to have one balloon filled said it would be 3 hours. Only one on register anf one filling. Why? I Will never return and will tell all my friends and family.

Crappy attitudes!!! The first time I went to order my balloons for my 2 year old on Friday, the girl at the register had the worst attitude ever. I wish I could have remembered her name, but man was she bothered so much that when I went to say thank you after she cashed me out she walked away without saying youre welcome. And today, Sunday, when I went to pick up my order the lady I asked to help get a piñata down seemed so upset I asked her that she did everything with the droopiest face ever!! The other girl with her however was super nice I wish I could have asked her instead. Im not coming back. Literally they make you feel like you bother them when you are asking in a nice way for stuff. Horrible horrible experience party city!

Bad customer service! I did a balloon order and when it came time to pick them up they didnt have my order correct. No one apologized i had to wait over 30 min for them to get my balloons together.

I will say price are good.but the young girl that cant say hello when u walk in.i said hi and she just looked at me.then we needed something down from the top and she had a attitude about getting it down.so i went somewhere else.they lost 100.00 tonight cause of her.

Horrible experience. We called to ask about getting balloons loan up and were told we could have balloons when we came to the store, got to the register to be told there was a 30 minute wait. We expressed that we called and what we were told. The cashier told the manager and he yelled THIRTY MINUTES and that was that. They will never get business from me again.

I lived in Miami and recently moved to Deltona which is about 15 to 20 minutes away from the closest Party city. I went in to make a return/exchange from a purchase I made in South Florida over a month a ago because I chose not to have that event any longer. Now due to my moving I no longer had my receipt and as I learned when I went in to make an EXCHANGE even with giving your email if you have no activity within 30 days your information with not show any transactions. I asked to speak to a manager which was Chelsea I told her where I purchase and I would just like to exchange for something that would be more cost effective for my daughter since we moved 4 hours away and we have no family here. Chelsea then proceeded to tell me that they will not be able to look up the transaction in there system because it was purchase at another location/ district, she said she would have to ask her manager that is above her Anthony H., who did not even take the time to speak to me as a customer regardless of the situation, Chelsea went to ask, came back and said he said no. I can have the party city in South Florida basically ok it and say yes it was purchased there or if they can provide the transaction number/date. So as a customer I did what they asked I contacted Party city in Lauderhill which was VERY helpful and explained that my information was in the system but due to no transaction and its over 30days that I can only get store credit regardless. The manager at Lauderhill was VERY helpful and said that he would talk to a manager. I then explained to Chelsea EXACTLY what was said when the conversation was held while she was standing in front of me she then says well our district manager will not allow the return. Mind you no one has spoken to the district manager nor did manager above Chelsea Anthony H. take the time to speak to me. I would have to DRIVE 4 hours a total of 8 hours to make an EXCHANGE because there is no proof of my return at the SANFORD location. Now how convenient is that???? When I was asked to call the location I purchase they said that they see my information but because its been over 30 days no transaction, I can only get store credit and then I was told, well we can not return without a receipt or proof of purchase when I was JUST told it will wipe my transaction out if not active in 30days. So either way no proof. I called the location they said yes store credit and sanford says no they can not help me I would have to go to the store I make the transaction. Beyond that there sale associate Jamanda Freeman was VERY considerate and helpful even with the simplest words as is everything ok and were you able to get help. And its not the fact that I want my money back its the help, the customer service, the answer is well our district manager will not, I called corporate and corporate stated otherwise if the situation was dealt differently I wouldnt be so annoyed I rather drive the extra mile for better service and understanding.
