Amazing experience! I brought my newly purchased Nissan Rogue for an inspection and received peace of mind and even a heads up on something we may address on down the road. I was disappointed with the quote that I was given. I needed a battery and my alternator replaced. The alternator was covered by my warranty, however I didn’t have the service performed at R & N because of the outrageous price to replace the battery. The charge for the battery alone was $325. I took my Kia Soul to Southern Pines Kia, to replace the battery was $205. Never again!

The work is always done in a timely fashion. Robert does a great job of letting you know exactly what to expect in the way of costs and expected repairs.

Robert took care of our vehicle after my wife broke down due to a cracked flywheel, with that said we had just bought this vehicle and noticed that the the transmission wouldn’t shift, the dealer offered to fix it for $200 so we obliged and then it broke down again. We brought our Dodge Grand Caravan to R&N motors and found out that the flywheel was cracked, and the starter was broken along with missing bolts from when the dealer repaired it. Robert took care of our vehicle and if you have an issue with your vehicle he’ll do the same for you. I was very impressed with the service and highly recommend them to anyone needing vehicle repairs.

I was purchasing a used vehicle from a lot in the area. I called R&N to ask if they had time to inspect it for me and they said to bring it on. They gave me a few options of different inspections they could perform and I chose to do a pre-purchase inspection. I am not a mechanic but consider myself a mechanically inclined. They pointed out a handful of things that I did not notice myself and gave me an honest opinion about the condition of the vehicle. I was satisfied with their work and consider it a worthwhile investment. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and didnt waste my time. My girlfriend had me change her oil for her behind these guys. Been working on it for 3 hours to get the wrong oil filter off.. also had a time with the plug. Ridiculous, no reason on this earth should the OIL filter be that tight.

The best auto repair shop ever. Ive been going there since 1991 and have ALWAYS gotten SUPERIOR service. If Robert tells you he will work on your vehicle a certain day then he will definitely work on it that day. You will not get the run around. He will not put someone else ahead of you. I have been there when people have tried to get him to do that and he will not do it. Also, he stands behind his work. And his wife whom also works there is great too. They have a very clean place for you to wait if you choose to. With tv, wifi and a very clean bathroom. I go no where else and recommend it to everyone. Cant say enough good things about them.

They have the best ratings for a reason. Reasonable prices, very professional attitude, clean shop, etc. They dont try to sell you on stuff they know you dont need. Its very obvious that they actually CARE about their customers. I will definitely have them do my repairs from now on.

Wonderful service. No sales pressure. Discussed the maintenance that might be needed on my car in the future and a timeline on when to take care of it so I could plan. I have a Volkswagen and most non dealer shops don’t want to work on them, but R&N took the time to thoroughly check through all of my systems. Will be using them from here on out.

I found out about R & N Motor a little while back. It is really hard to find an honest and good mechanic. I have finally found that. I will never go to the dealership again. I like the service I get so much I now have my family taking her car there for service and she thanked me for telling her about R & N Motor.

I had my Crysler van towed to R &N. The mechanic did a very good break down so I could understand what was wrong with my vehicle. The mechanic also made me feel welcome and was very professional. The prices are not sky high like most mechanics in town. The price was affordable and the diagnosis was precise. I will do business with R&N again and recommend the service to the public.

Good first experience for me with regards to having my Mercedes serviced. I learned a lot about the car but was a bit disappointed in the I had asked Ryan for an evaluation of my brake pads. Not sure they ever did evaluate them as he never gave me any feedback on them? Nice touch that they did put air in my tires. Shop was very clean and owner was very hands on.

We took our truck in with rear differential concerns. The shop was quick to look at it and kept us up to date via calls and text. With my busy work schedule, the texts were much appreciated and very convenient. The work was completed in a fair amount of time (I told them no rush since I had a 2nd vehicle to drive). Drove it today and their work seems to have resolved the issue! Friendly staff, honest assessments, and good attention to detail.

These guys are great! I called for an alignment and they were able to get us in next day. They even had my technician out the door and ready to move on with his day earlier than planned. Our company is a small business as well, and are always looking to give our business to other locally owned companies. R & N Motors took care of us and pricing was not outrageous!

We have been here a few times with a good experience most of the time. Prices have been fair. Work appears honest. Staff seem friendly at times but often feel rushed (beyond comfort). Highly recommend you give them a try. Enjoy the fact they seem they love Jesus Christ (my assumption) from interactions and generally Godly types which is nice! Only complaints are as follows: (a) communication can be an issue often -- really need much work in this area. (b) They use carfax (?) service which they enrolled us in without explicit authorization. Now we get SPAMMED with missed oil change emails etc. but oil changes are often done at the dealer and are up to date -- THIS IS TERRIBLE and NOT appreciated! (c) Also, if they say they will call at a time or have someone else call at a particular triggered event or condition, we no longer can expect that to be a reality in many cases. (d) They told us they can work on European cars but turned out they gave up and suggested we take to a dealer. Didnt expect the inability to resolve the issue but DID appreciate. the honesty. I did expect a discount after they communicated a lack of skill/ability/ etc but didnt get one. **other than these things, we find them as a place to TRUST and we hope to return w/ future needs. :)
