Very great service. Went in for a tire replacement and for a wheel alignment. Got a call a few hours later telling me that I needed the camber for one tire replaced. When I got there they showed me the diagnostics that were tested on my car showing me that one tire that needed the camber fixed and the after results. Very impressed with how they show you what was wrong and how they fixed it. Will be going back for any future services. Strongly recommend!

However, when I dont have time to complete repair work myself or I need the previously mentioned services, I go to Midway. I initially discovered them years ago upon moving near their location. Then I found all of the great reviews online. Count me in as one of the many satisfied repeat customers who has used them for years. First of all, the customer service is superb. Everyone Ive ever dealt with has been genuinely friendly and helpful, including the mechanics Ive met. Im glad to give them my business for that alone. Excellent communication regarding the status of the job. In addition, Ive never had a single problem with any of the workmanship. I came here to get my car inspected. I was told that I needed to replace two of my tires to pass inspection. I wasnt sure if that was true or not. Once, in a different city, an inspection station loosened my lug nuts and claimed I needed expensive and unnecessary repairs. I was braced for impact here, but the owner seemed trustworthy and I believe he worked to get me what I needed at a reasonable price. I had to wait after they put the tires on because they forgot to inspect the car and had to bring it back inside the garage after thinking they were done, but overall it was a good experience.

Very courteous and helpful. They did a wonderful job on my car.

Friendly staff. However they are not very knowledgeable or either they just didn’t care to actually fix the issues that were present with my vehicle. On two different occasions this occurred with two different cars. The first occasion my brake lights wouldn’t come on and they were unable to completely find the issue but charged me 900+ and told me to follow up with the car manufacturer because they must have received a faulty piece because it wasn’t fixing the issue. Took it to another shop and paid additional money to get this issue fixed. The second occasion was so simple - my tire pressure light was on and they told me the device was faulty again but my partner put air in the tires get on and TADA the tire pressure light went right off. I definitely would not recommend. High price for poor quality work.

2 years ago my health with bad. I normally work on my own cars. So I made a point to talk to the owner and tell him how much my car ment to me its how I make a living. He was super nice super understanding so I assumed he understood I wanted 100% job. Thats not what I got the part replaced is just hanging I was told if you put a Zip Strip on it but it didnt come in with a Zip Strip the vacuum line was just left hanging I would think a customer going out of their way to make sure they got a good job you would make sure they did get a good job sir. I have taken my car here several times and have no complaints whatsoever about any work they did on it or the way they communicated with me. They would call me if they found something I needed done, did not push me into having it done that day, and explained very well why it needed to be done. Everyone I have come in contact with there has been very courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to go there at all.

This place was recommended to me and this was my first visit. Staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle. I plan to make this my official auto shop.

I wouldnt recommend this place, simply because of some shady business practices. I admit that what I was asking to be done to my car might not have been usual, and I expected to pay more because of it. However, when you tell me youre going to call me once you reach my cap and fail to do so, work hours more than discussed and expect me to pay for work beyond what I authorized, youve got another thing coming. When I asked for an invoice, they deleted whatever was on there, and basically gave me a blank piece of paper. Again, theres no way Id go back or ever recommend this place to anyone.Update: In response to the Owners Comment... Sir/Maam, as this review is about your business and not your opinion of my character, I would appreciate it if you refrained from spouting lies about myself and my friend. Neither one of us gave anyone the finger. The fact of the matter is, you neglected to follow through on your end. I never received any phone call when you hit my cap. No, I didnt get it in writing like I should have, and thats on me. However, if I would have gotten the phone call stating how long you planned on working on it (how much you were going to try to charge me), I wouldve taken my business elsewhere. Simple as that.

Ive gotten tires from them before and was satisfied, now Im having them work on one of my vehicles and so far they have told me what was needed and let me know the price . Reliable service, even if they are closing @ 5pm. If they promised the vehicle would be finished, it will be finished. If they have to stay those extra 10 or 15 minutes, it will be done by promised day. I have not had much dealing but I was Impressed. They were priced reasonably. Dont expect a dealership waiting room with high dollar complimentary coffee machine with big waiting area with pastries. You can go to the dealership & pay for that type of atmosphere. This place made me feel as though theyre trustworthy. I They did have job completed on date they stated, dont think I was over charged.

Craig is the best mechanic in Sanford. Dean is always answering my questions and helping me understand the diagnostic and repair details. Ive been getting my work vans serviced and repaired there for years. Ive had motors replaced, transmissions, multiple sets of tires, and various other repairs. Every single time, he has got me back on the road quickly and at a reasonable price. By far, the best shop in Sanford for service.

I called this place after going to another that tried to way overcharge me for taking lawn mower tires off the rims and putting them on new rims. Not only did they say they could do it, but they could do it for a fraction of the cost the other guys wanted to charge me. Took a little time, but worth the wait. I came to Midway because of their great reviews and was not disappointed ! Tim and Dean up front handled all of my issues with my 2002 BMW X5 . Water pump, fan clutch, alternator and new tires were all quoted to me at reasonable prices and every employee in the place had a smile while I waited. Here is my one tip for future customers, get there at 8 am so you beat the crowd. It’s an easier wait when you know you are there first ;) awesome place !!

Best auto shop Ive been to in a long time, they were incredibly helpful at the front desk, and as I was waiting at the shop to get my car, they moved a few things around so that they could get me in and out as fast as possible. Gave me advice on what I should watch in my car to prevent having to bring it in, rather than saying that they were necessary fixes that had to get done immediately. I felt like they cared about saving me money as much as I cared about it, going so far as to tell me something that was a pretty easy fix that I should just go pick up the part for and do myself. Hard to find honest mechanics such as these.

I have been bringing my car here since I moved to the area in 2015. I will not go anywhere else. They have always provided honest, quick repairs and they let me know what will be needed in the future. They have saved me money on numerous occasions by finding the best solution to my problem. I’m new to the Sanford area and was in dire need of a mechanic to work on my breaks, ABS, tires, and traction control. I drove by, stopped in, dropped my car, and in a few hours they had it all done. They also identified a brake problem that I failed to tell them about the symptoms. The brake booster was bad. The staff - Tim and Dean - gave me all the details needed to work through the vehicle dealer, since it was a problem under warranty by the manufacturer. After a few days of being given the run-around by the dealer, I called Midway Tire and Auto back. I truly felt valued. Yes I’m a customer, but they were more focused on our SAFETY and our pocket. Their actions speak loudly. Something the dealer appeared to not care about, even after I implored them to take my vehicle and conduct the recommended authorized dealer inspection. I told the dealer I was willing to just leave my vehicle with them and that I didn’t require a loan vehicle. The dealer wouldn’t even inspect my vehicle! I’ll be writing their company HQ. From now on, we will take our vehicles to Midway Tire and Auto and we highly recommend everyone to use their services.Thank you Midway Tire and Auto!

Dean, the manager there explained to me what the problem might be and how much is the cost including labor and parts. I had my car towed to them, they diagnosed the problem for free and found out exactly the problem that they suspected. They even charged me less than quoted and fixed my car within an hour. Very professional, I was given an estimate before any work was done, they call after trouble shooting the problem, told me how long it would take and also contacted me afterwards. I personally think their rate are very reasonable and they do great work, I will be using Midway tire and auto in the future.

Had the A/C go out on the car. Called a few places for quotes, one was cheaper, the others were about the same. The 4 stars out of 120 reviews is what sold me. They replaced the A/C and oil change by the end of the day. So far all is well.

Just sharing my opinion of this place so no one else has to deal with what I have.. took my truck up to them and needed my breaks bled, was told could not be done because it needed break booster and another part. That its was just so bad that I should feel my truck wanting to cut off when I hit the breaks. So I told them just to give me my truck and gave them 180 for their bill. Took my truck to the Chevrolet dealer today and for 140 and a little break fluid I now have breaks with out all this other stuff they said I had to have.

I called yesterday to set up an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection for 9am the following day.I showed up this morning a couple of minutes early and handed my keys over.After about 20 minutes my car hadnt moved - no worries, I spent a decade in the automotive industry and this is pretty common.After 40 min another woman came in and waited for about 15 minutes before complaining and they took her car back before me (also for an oil change).I asked for my keys after an hour, to which the front desk manager responded: Well. he was just getting ready to take it back.Sure buddy, whatever you say.I tried to take my business to a mom & pop shop over a big-time car dealer. They may just treat you like a number at the bigger places but at least they get you in and out and get the job done.If your customer commits to a scheduled appointment, you need to hold up your end of the bargain and get them out of their in a timely manner.
