I have only ever been in this store one other time, so I did not know what to expect. Johnnie greeted me and I told him what I was looking for, and he said okay, lets go to the third floor! I didnt realize there was more than one floor! I told Johnnie all the specifics I was looking for in a couch and he helped me pick out a couple. He was understanding that I was not ready to purchase a couch that day(had to get other peoples votes) but he gave me all the info I needed and maybe Ill be in to make a purchase soon!

We always find interesting things here, and the staff is always pleasant and helpful! We will definitely keep coming back!

Had not been here in over 20 years, was headed elsewhere to shop when I remembered Marcus worked here. Store has improved dramatically. I was surprised at their prices versus stores I recently shopped. They offered 5 year warranty on many of their items that compared in price to competitors 1 year warranty. Worth a visit!

Staff was great!! Inventory is plentiful but some are overpriced. Stairs are weak in-between third and second floor. Not good for wheelchair customers. Not ADA compliant at all.

The customer service you receive in the store is what customer service is supposed to be about! Starting with Eve, our wonderful salesperson who went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we want for the price that we could afford, to the office and management team making sure we understood about the delays that were happening and that they would keep in touch with us in regards to any changes in dates. Being in a field where delays occur constantly these days, I appreciate their upfront and honest approach to what to expect from deliveries! I stopped into the store the other day and was met at the door by Eve. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. She pointed me into the direction of the Brooke Harbor which perfectly fitted me and my wifes theme. When I came back in today, Eve had taken off for the day and Johnnie showed me some of the new mattresses and knew the ins and outs of them as well. If you are planning on furniture shopping, stop by and talk to those two! They made my time there stress free and enjoyable.

Eve helped us find what we needed! She was extremely friendly and was really helpful with finding our furniture. I came out of here with a bunk bed that suits my room perfectly and this is the number one place I would look for anything else in the future!

No words...Bill was awesome.. He tried to make my experience better. I just couldnt buy anything, because of my experience with delivery at time of sale.. After Bill took time to correct experience with his manager.. I just couldnt buy there.. I was going to spend 4700.00 ..I saved to make a purchase.. Remember customer service is needed.. Johnnie greeted me within seconds of walking in, chatted a bit about what I was looking for, gave me some hints on where I might find it, and then let me wander at my own pace. No hovering, no high pressure sales. When I found what I was looking for, the sale process was easy as could be. He was kind, helpful, and so personable! My 88-year-old Mom was shopping for a new mattress and box springs set today. Ralph Riqueime was the salesperson who assisted her. He was knowledgeable, courteous and patient with her as she made her decision. She purchased a name brand mattress with a warranty and was well-pleased with her shopping experience.

I have never been into this store before, upon walking in I ran into Bill who then took the time to show me some options of recliners on the first floor, then took me up to the third floor to show me the rest of the recliners. Once I found what I was looking for, he made sure to explain everything about the process and was very through. It was a wonderful and quick experience!

Good quality for a fair price. Sales people werent pushy & let you look around first & then would answer any questions. The only complaint we had was the delivery date being delayed. Also the delivery team was very thorough & quick. Very friendly & careful in our home. We would definitely buy here again.

Stopped in to look for a couch and recliner for my new apartment and was not looking to spend a lot of money. Our salesman, Marcus, was very helpful and understanding of our budget and we found a great sofa and recliner. We got approved for financing, even with my poor credit, and put half the cost down and have 120 days to pay the remaining amount without interest. The chair will be ready for pick up in about 2 weeks, but the couch will be about 6 weeks, but that is understandable right now. Had a great experience over all!

A pick up date was printed on the receipt and no where says that it is an estimate. The pick up date has passed. Didn’t hear anything from the store so I tracked the order online. Come to find out it was delayed 2 additional months and no one even reached out to notify us. Called the store and the person I spoke with told me that it’s actually 3 weeks later than the date I saw online. Person I spoke with was apologetic but didn’t provide me with a solution.I really hate to make this update like this but have no choice since the only solution I was given to make this situation better was “if you want to cancel, I would find something somewhere else beforehand”.Original review:Antoine was AMAZING! Hands down best sales person/experience of the 6 furniture stores we went to. Never go to value city they will make you pay top dollar for the cheapest furniture ever made. To respond to value citys Im sorry, I have called your corporate offices and got the run around there too, it is even at the highest level of your company that you all refuse to make your customers satisfied if they are not happy with the cheep products you sell. All I have ever got from anyone from the top down is one excuse after an other! I am being treated like I do not matter by everyone! Im sorry I paid my couch off, its not my fault that you decided to discontinue my couch, but are sure making me suffer over that fact! So your Im sorry to hear you can take it and stuff it!!!!
