Gaming heaven. They keep a good stock of games from older and newer systems (in particular, i am very pleased with the variety of Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games).The one catch is the prices. Stingy trade-in offers and overpricing used games. Do yourself a favor and go to ebay for gaming. That said, still give the exchange a shot for consoles and games under $10

If you are looking to purchase something they have a decent selection of many things. Music, movies, collectibles. Pretty basic buy, sell, trade store. They get a 2 star review from me though simply because the selling and trading conducted there is garbage. You can take in a tote full of popular, wanted items but theyll pay you less than gas money and Im not entirely convinced that some of it is just taken home by employees and never put into the store. Buy, dont trade.

Very helpful and polite employees, great video game selection for every console, not outrageously priced for used games, and I have never received a scratched disk from them, and if youre suspicious, theyll let you look at it before buying. This is literally the only review I have done on a physical store.

Stayed overnight in town after a visit to cedar point and decided to stop here, was very excited when I seen the selection of merchandise. Spent a good amount of time in here going over everything and living a decent ways away was on the fence about making a large purchase.The guys working tested it in front of me and were very nice and helpful, thank you so much! Will definitely be making more trips back to shop here!

Came into town for Cedar Point and stopped into this gem afterward. Tons of selections to choose from for music, games, and movies. Very well organized, clean, and customer service was top notch. I’ll definitely stop in next time I’m in town, thank you. 👍🏽

Looking for that hard to find horror flick? They got or can get it. This place is awesome. Music, games, movies, collectibles its just one of those store you have to check out. Looking for that one game console you cant seem to find? Or that one game you cant find???? I swear I went here looking for things and I bought a never opened rare sealed Xbox 360 with a ps2 and a few old games I didnt think I would find....AMAZING.

They have great stuff. But why is it every time I look at anything, Im being watched by three employees less than two feet from me? Everything is behind glass. Theres no way Im stealing anything. I dont want to buy anything because I feel so uncomfortable.

I originally started shopping at The Exchange in Parma Hts in 1982. I have found rare items, and have sold them music over the years. While all locations are good, This location, Sandusky, Ohio is exceptional. Corey, Matt, and Ryan go above and beyond to help you and pay top dollar for your trade. Great selection of vinyl, and the rare stuff comes in. It is worth the trip from any location. Highly recommend this store to anyone. You guys are the best. Thanks Dave for all your years of Service, Your professionalism doesnt go unnoticed.

I LOVE The Exchange. I only buy my vinyls at this store and Ive grown quite the collection thanks to them. I go once a month and always walk out with a stack of vinyls for under $20. Ive never had any problems with damages or scratches, but they have a great return policy if you happen to have any problems. They also have a nice collection of CDs and DVDs. I dont play video games so I cant comment about those. The staff is super friendly and they are always willing to help if I need it. Definitely check out this store if youre in the area!

I go to the Sandusky location every time Im in the mood for a new game. Im a cheap shopper so Ill never pay full price for a video game and The Exchange is a perfect place for me. All the prices are very reasonable, even for brand new games that are already being sold since. I have never had a problem with the staff, they are always friendly and I always feel welcome. The only time I returned something was when we bought a WII and one of the controllers didnt work, (ALWAYS KEEP THE RECEIPT) took it back the next day and immediately got a new one. No fuss or hassle about it. Because of previous experiences at different gaming stores, I never once had a problem being able to check the condition of a disk before it is being bought. I tell them what Im interested in and they hand it to me so that I can see for myself. I highly recommend this to anyone.

BEWARE....My adult son bought an atari system for my birthday awhile back from The Exchange in Sandusky. I never used it. (It was not the original.)I asked recently if we could take it back and trade it toward one I recognized. We took it in. The employees could not figure out how to plug it in to test it. They looked in the booklet and realized it had no power cord.I was shocked and asked why it wasnt tested before my son purchased it? It may have been overlooked. We were nice but asked what could be done. We were given the owners brother in Cleveland. He listened and apologized and said his brother or sister who owned the Sandusky store would contact me. It has been about 5 wks. I have texted twice to check status w no response. We would have happily taken credit or traded it vs a refund. No offer was made. Very sad to see such lack of character and integrity. Please make sure they test everything in front of you. My son wasted $75 trying to bless his Mama.

I guess if you like old junk technology, you might like this place. Its got a lot of used cds and dvd, and old video games. Ild rather just download for a cheaper price.

Price is high. Had to buy a used DVD set for star wars and they charged me $45 for the old 3 box set. Bluray up the road at best buy for all 3 discs was $33. If I wasnt on vacation and had my bluray player that would be the way I would have gone. I have to give them credit for being the only ones with what I needed. The guy seemed annoyed with my 5 and 8 year when they were trying to help him put things back.

Ive been going here since I got a Wii in like 3rd or 4th grade, and its amazing. Now I have PS4 and its still not too overpriced. The staff is awesome, and to anybody complaining about the staff being 2 feet away as you look at games and stuff, it is because they are waiting to see if you pick something so that they can unlock it instantly for you and get it. The place is awesome. It has tons of old stuff, but also as much new stuff as you could ask for/ need. Dont go to GameStop or Walmart for your games, go to this place its way better.

Ive been going here for years. I dont know if its me or if something actually changed, but the music is now horrid (in my opinion, used to be a mix of rock/rap/punk, now its all emo stuff), and I went shopping there tonight to buy some Genesis old school games and they were really overpriced. I got a couple that I thought were a good deal until I got home, I tested them both, and they both did not work. So, I took them back within a half hour of the purchase and the guy at the counter said that he normally charges a re-stocking fee and will give me my money back just once and put my name on a list in the computer. So he was going to charge me because their games didnt work? For putting away two Genesis games? By the way, there were only like 30 or so Genesis games to choose from altogether. I used to work here, too, and it was a stupid experience. A bunch of kids acting like adults because they have a job. Nobody really doing anything. Oh yeah, and the emo kid that helped me was super pushy and kinda rude. Must have had his emo pants on too tight. Not trying to be mean, but I thought it was funny.

Probably my second least favorite store ive ever been to, at least the Sandusky location, half of the staff is rude as hell, a few are nice, over priced bad labels on a lot of older games. check out level up in Bellevue or a couple other of the stores in Sandusky if your looking for better service and prices. very pushy staff.
