Took my 2019 Silverado 4x4 crew cab in for a GM bulletin recall for trans service flush and fill. Always had great service ( sales& service) in the past. Been a customer since June 1988 bought several vehicles over the years.With that being said I dealt with a service advisor named Gabe. Gabe never followed up or returned my calls on the day that my truck went in for service. Told me 4 hrs dropped truck off at 9 am .I returned to pick the truck up at 245 pm, you guessed it they never even had the right trans filters in stock and got to my truck after 12 pm when I dropped it off at 9 am. Short of the matter truck was there 2 days. The Job was a 4 hrs quoted job so poor handling of getting truck in on time and poor parts Dept since they didnt have the correct trans filters in stock. I got Dawson Foster involved since Ive know him for over 25 yrs now. My sales rep Bart was involved as well.I was very disappointed this time with service Dept. Dawson Foster assured me he will follow up with my concerns.Poor communication from service Dept and call in center. Excuses about short staffing issues and Covid issues which seems the excuse for everything when its customer service related. I just wanted to share my experience with you all.

Negative experience here. Im in no rush to buy a vehicle as I currently own a reliable one. I called and asked about a $5,000 truck I seen online and made an appointment with Clark to see it.When I met with the salesman he said he didnt see the truck in the inventory.I was shown a different truck which I assumed was close to the price of the truck I originally came to see. I asked repeatedly how much the truck is and was given the run around each time and Clark continously asked if I liked the truck. He apparently didnt know the price, went to check the paperwork for the price, didnt have the paperwork, etc.When I told him my max budget of 10k Clark seemed shocked and told me Id need to spend at least 25k for a decent truck. Knowing I came in for a 5k truckIm unsure why he seemed shocked.It took almost 2 hours just to be told the truck I came in to see did not pass inspection as it had a motor issue and they suggested I lease a car. I wish theyd have told me over the phone that the truck was unavailable so I didnt have to waste my time here.

I had it towed to Foster Chevrolet and they quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it a fair price, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and pain free wait. Fantastic. I only experienced their service department, but it was nearly perfect.Ive been searching for a solid Chevrolet dealership to take care of oil changes on my Corvette. They were easy to make an appointment with, werent bothered I was a half hour early, and quoted me the a solid price for Mobil 1 full synthetic, 100-110. Service team was pleasant, and followed COVID safety practices.Dealership was nice and clean. There wasnt much in their interior showroom, I assume with how hard it is for dealers to get cars combined with wanting to be outside for the open air. Two sales people offered to help me, and Im all set, thank you with a smile was enough for them- no pestering. Theres not much to say, I came in, service was done quickly, and I was on my way. . . Until the shocker.My oil change was 25% cheaper than I expected! I was confused, thinking maybe the mis priced it, or used the wrong oil. The service handler verified- right oil, thats the price. Hell, Im not going to fight it!! My only complaints would be that they lowered my air pressure on the tires (I should have asked them not to adjust it, my fault), and they dont take American Express. This is my new spot, and I finally have a Chevy dealer to recommend.

Fourth car purchase within 2 years horrible service. Took 4 days to come to terms on car was going be 5500 down 555 month ask to get below 550 offer 6500 down. Car was suppose be ready Friday at 1 pm. 2:30 calling where at it won’t be ready till Monday, knowing my wife was waiting to leave town to visit family over weekend. Monday. Came 1 arrived nothing. Finally 230 let’s do 330. Finally 7 pm it ready. Once there they agree 2 fobs 2 keys. Got in room to sign they started changing deal to one fob. Then payment jumped up with more money. All liars sorry to see another business go to the waste side. Will never do business again

I was very disappointed because in was not told that my oil change was going to cost me $70. I was under the impression that it was going to be $50. It used to be $40 and I get that prices and such went up but for them to have charged me another $20 for the tire rotation is just not acceptable. I was under the impression that the oil change / tire rotation was all included as it used to be all included when I have gotten it before in the past.I am extremely disappointed especially for all the times I have not only brought my vehicle to foster but for all the issues I have encountered with this vehicle I feel as if I should have at least a few oil changes on GM for all the trouble I have dealt with.So yes I am highly disappointed in this visit and with the pricing I just had to shell out for an oil change.

I was there for a recall on my 2012 Chevy Equinox. The problem was fixed, but I had an issue with my muffler. The mechanic tech told me it would be between $1700 to $700 to fix my muffler issue. I told him I would check around. Glad I did. I got it fixed for $160.

I have had my Volt in the dealership twice now for two different issues. The first time was for a thermostat issue. I asked twice where it was located on the car before I brought it in to have the dealership fix the issue. I called in and spoke with the service dept over the phone and they would not give me a clear answer as to where it was located. One time saying they did not want me to damage the car. I spent 17 years in the United States Air Force as a Air Craft mechanic and worked on 4 jets in that time. I think if I can fix a multi billion dollar jet I can replace a thermostat on a car! Even if I damaged the car it would be my issue to deal with NOT the dealerships! It was NOT until after I paid 340 to have a 50 dollar part replaced that the service department magically was able to tell me where it was!then most recently was a wiring harness for the evaporator system. when I brought it in to get looked at for a check engine light I was told what was wrong. I was then told that they have never seen this issue before and that there where only two of the harness in the entire United States. I asked what was wrong and was told that the connection was corroded and that it appeared to not have been installed correctly from the factory. I went and had the part ordered and then I called chevy about the issue to let them know about this very uncommon issue. chevy called your dealership to see what could be done to help me out with the cost of the repair due to the rarity of this issue. only to be told there was nothing that could be done and that because I did not buy the car from fosters and that I was not a previous customer of fosters the dealership was unwilling to help with the cost.What I did not bring up or mention was that I know Dawson Foster from when he was a police officer and provided security for the McDonalds on Perkins ave. I bought my very first preowned car from Kevin Roseine which was a 89 ford escort gt in white. my wife and I bought another car from your dealership when we first got married which was a grand am in 94. we also bought a brand new chevy Malibu when they where first brought back. so instead of just assuming your dealership could have actually talked to me about my concerns, but as I expected that did not happened. at this time I have a dealership complaint filed through chevy and I have still not had anyone reach out to me about my concerns. which does not surprise me either!this last time I was in the dealership for the wire harness your dealership seemed more interested in getting me in, taking my money and getting me out. as someone who worked for Apple Inc, before leaving to finish my education, I know what customer service is about and your dealership has went down hill from my previous experiences with fosters! had I treated one of my customers for apple inc the way you treated me I would have been fired in short order. chevys corp office has been more than willing to try and repair the relationship with chevy and your dealership. as I told them they can fix the relationship I have with chevy corp but with your dealership it is up to them to fix!I would give a 0 for my experience with fosters, but because I have had some good experience with your dealership in the past I decided to give a 1. this is not about how much this recent repair cost me as I had the money to get the repair done. this comes down to what was said to chevy over the phone, my other experience with the thermostat and the disinterested nature in which your dealership seems to operate with now. meaning if you do not buy the car from you we will not do anything to help or make things right! sadly with a volt fosters is the ONLY dealership close that is able to make repairs to the car! I was considering having your body shop repair some damage that was done to the car in the near future, but after this issue I will take my 1,000 somewhere else for the body work. in the last year I have spent just over 700 in your dealership, but I guess since I did not by my volt from you that does not matter!

We were having trouble with our diesel truck on our way home from camping called on star and they recommend Foster Chevrolet so with our 5th we headed to their dealership. They checked and found issue but did not have part they offered to let us park at their facility but we had a commitment on Saturday so we headed for home. Seen the listing on Cars.com for 2016 Lexus ES350 for $24500. Called and set up an appointment with John the salesman. John was very professional. Test drove and then went to make an offer. Finance manager comes back with a $25500. I explained it was $24500 on cars.com. Finance manager went down to $25000. Would not honor the internet price of $24500. Dont waste your time at this crooked dealership. The finance manager obviously doesnt care about his job to much.

I lost my key fob while in Sandusky. I contacted my dealership back home and was told I needed to contact the local place to have a new key fob programmed. Simple enough. I called Fosters and was told that this was not possible. A new key would have to be ordered from GM. A couple of hours later, and multiple calls to GM and my hometown dealership, I finally get someone in Fosters service department that knows what hes doing. He confirms that they can simply program a new key fob for me. BUT, now its getting close to closing time, so it would have to be the next day. If the woman in the parts department had known how to handle it, or asked someone that did, they would have been able to resolve the issue hours before closing. My hometown dealership went above and beyond, as they have for me for more than 10 years.

This car dealership really did not listen to what we wanted! We went into the dealership looking for a new car, but would only recommend pricey, used cars to us. They were very pushy and would not listen to our wants. We wanted to look at 2020 Traxs. The saleswoman pushed very hard for us to test ride a 2018 Santa Fe with 50,000+ miles. They were really pushing us to buy the car right then when we were there so we would get a new 32 TV with our purchase, which we were not interested in. The saleswoman came off as rude and pushy. We were VERY disappointed with our experience at Foster Chevrolet.
