We took 2 laundry baskets of clothes and a big box full of shoes on 6/12/21. Almost all the clothes were nice. No stains or rips on them and many of them were hardly used. We inspe red all the clothes for stains before we took them. Needless to say they only bought the shoes and said all the clothes were stained or old. They say they buy clothes for 4 seasons but really they dont. We had this nice Nike jacket we brought in with our stuff and they had 0 interest in it. This store never buys anything honestly not worth the trip. And FYI we find stained clothes on your racks all the time. We are taking the clothes you didnt buy to Perrysburg today and a gaurentee they buy 90 % of it. We wont be coming back to sandusky location anymore because they never buy anything.

I am expecting my first child & my mother & sister & I enjoyed a shopping trip here today & we made out like bandits! I was so excited to get so many adorable, affordable baby clothes & when I fell in love with one of the baby swings, an employee happily got it down for me & even plugged it in for me to make sure everything worked properly. We enjoyed our shopping trip so much, we came back a couple hours later for a few more books & outfits! Everyone was so friendly & the store is so well organized & clean! I highly recommend anyone to go shopping at Once Upon a Child in Sandusky! I cant wait to go back!

In the past I have enjoyed this store. On Tuesday I went in, no other customers in the store, before 10am. Friendly associate put her the mask on when I went in. I was in the store 10 minutes & did make a purchase. During that time a person, who I assume also works there, came in behind the counter, coughed a lot & had no mask. During a pandemic, with orders to wear a mask, I think this is a poor practice & am certainly hoping that this doesnt increase the spread of disease. Please stay home if youre sick & wear your mask

I have been inside this store several times and have always been greeted with a smile and a hello. The employees are very nice and the store is very clean. Even the store manager is out there greeting and helping customers! The items I purchased were high quality and looked almost new. I recommend this store to anyone who is looking to buy or sell. I will definitely be coming back myself!

LOVE THIS STORE! Ive clothed 3 children in items from this store. They carry great brands in fantastic condition. I recommend OUAC Sandusky to everyone! The employees are super helpful and handle the pressure of their job with grace and kindness. (I cant imagine its easy telling someone why their items were not acceptable for a buy back!) Thank you for having such an amazing store in Sandusky!

I took in a bassinet, car seat stroller set, a basket of boys clothes and a rocker. I was told they couldnt take any of it because there was a pet odor coming off the stuff and to take it all back and wash everything real good and bring it back. I dont have any pets! Im good! Never again!!

My wife and i went in to sell some outgrown clothes. The MANAGER RACHAEL said shed call us in a half hour. Then called and said we cant take this stuff it smells of smoke. Funny thing is we live in a smoke free environment. Never been disrespected like this before.

I took 7 pairs of girl shoes.., beautiful, brand named and new shoes with tags. They gave me $1 per pair.. NEVER AGAIN

Brought in a lot of clothes before, and they always took them. Brought in some really nice stuff and passed on all of it. I dont get it. No explination, no apology. I guess they no longer need our business.

Went in a few weeks ago to see if they would take any of my daughters outgrown clothes...and they did...about $40 worth BUT the lady I dealt with when coming in was extremely rude and unprofessional. My wallet was stolen the week before and I didn’t have my lisence BUT I did have two additional government issued ID’s! I had my military ID and my passport card; along with offering my social security card and my birth certificate! The woman pretty much got irritated that I asked why they wouldn’t take those sources of identification and simply told me it was the law And basically used her words to shoo me from the store. Well I had my daughters boyfriend who is 18 come in and put it under his name since he had a lisence with him and automatically she was rude again and you could tell she was upset that I had come back. To top it all off she was also rude and yelled to my daughters friends thru the whole store to stop touching stuff! I’ve spent a lot of money here over the years trying to clothe my three kids BUT I will not be returning. Being kind a polite goes a long way when working in customer service. I sincerely hope your rude associate learns that before you lose more customers. Just an FYI; the girl was wearing glasses and had blonde hair. Didn’t catch her name though unfortunately

I loved this Store!! I took a bunch of my girls clothes in and they kept 2 totes and offered me over 100$ I was shocked! I did wash them all before taking them FYI: have to be taken in bins or laundry baskets bc they will not except wrinkled or smokey/odered clothing etc. But the staff was excellent and also provided explanation of why they didnt except other things... Ill def be going back

Tooktons of non. stained smoke free Gymboree and brand name clothes, they wanted none of it.. wont be going back to buy or sell, It was a blessing cause I sold them all the next day on Ebay for way more

I shop at this store very often (sometimes in the non summer months, once a week). They have never been anything but friendly, courteous, and professional. If you left a review stating that they were rude, maybe youre the issue.

Took in brand new pair of nikes tried to give me $5 for them and $5 for a gently used north face. No explanation or anything used too love this store but never taking my kids name brand stuff back there 2nd generation kids in norwalk is way better and pay out a lot more for your gently used kids clothing!

Not a great selection of baby boy clothes. Also seemed to be more pricey for a second hand store.

Brought in a bin of clothes at 5 p.m.and I was told they stop taking items at 4:30 to get everything done.They close at 6 on Sunday? I asked if I could leave them and pick them up the next day. That was a negative. A waste of time and gas.

Even though i like this place and bring in and shop here quite often. I had a rude girl up front today just made me take my little business else where today. But ill get over and be back some other time.

Horrible store, only wants clothes that were new a few months ago, wont be going, the Second Generation kids in Avery is MUch better
