Never been treated this poorly from any business. I’m not quite sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews. Must have called and asked for suggestions, on the wrong day. Hopefully everyone else’s experience is better than mine, as it was not even close to a good one!

I also dont know how this business got a near 5 star rating. Never been treated so rude with such an upset individual for just a simple question for a repair job. Even was scalded for closing his front gate the wrong way. I would; and will, never recommend this business ever for canvas repair. I went over to Firelands Canvas Repair right after and got my questions answered swiftly, very friendly, and without attitude and even got my repair in less than 30min! I dont seem to understand why a business owner with an obviously bad attitude would take it out of perspective customers. 🤔 (Relpy): Angerily left to breaking a solid iron gate?? Anger was not the correct emotion given. More like dismay on how badly treated as a costumer) Im sure others would agree with my above mentioned experience.

If youre looking to get canvas work done for your boat in the Cleveland/Sandusky area, Mike of Sandusky Canvas is the man for the job. The glass on my 2006 Cruisers was in horrible shape. Mike laid out my options, and ultimately went with keeping the canvas but replacing the glass inside, which saved a great deal of money over replacing the entire canvas.The results speak for themselves. So clear you can barely tell theres anything in there. Mike also replaced the zippers, stay-puts, buttons and any other stitching that needed to be done. He guarantees his work and makes himself available if any adjustments are needed. The new glass breathed some new life into this experienced boat of mine lol!

I hired Sandusky Canvas to fashion a new cover for my small boat. I called around to a few places, and nobody would even consider talking to me for about six months. However, Mike from Sandusky met me that same day to take a look, and I was shocked when he told me he could get it done quickly. The next day he took measurements and began the work. Im sure its not always that easy to get squeezed in, just to set expectations.The quality of the work is top-notch. The canvas fits perfectly and looks fantastic. Mike took extra steps to make sure every aspect of the job used the best materials combined with quality craftsmanship. I will happily go back for my next project. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Got several references from my marina to get my bayliner canvas replaced. Called Mike at Sandusky canvas first. Could tell the guy takes pride in his work and trusted him with the job. Very pleased with his work and would refer him to anybody.

Mike is an incredible canvas maker and Upholstery person. I had him look into all my exterior upholstery as well as my helm enclosure. He was extremely thorough, very detailed, informative when it came to form, function and materials. Most importantly he is very honest and straight forward. His quality of work is better than I have ever seen and he is very fair when it comes to cost. Lastly he was very flexible and understanding of my schedule and time line. Mike did a wonderful job replacing the carpet in the cockpit area of our boat...he copied the shape perfectly and the workmanship was superb!! Timing and cost were ex ellent as well. You wont find a more talented, dedicated craftsman.

Outstanding business outstanding person and outstanding quality service

I took MICHAEL at Sandusky Canvas a Canvas travel trailer end for my 2006 Forest River Hybrid travel trailer.The manufacturer of the trailer installs a plastic j Channel that holds the canvas in the track. Over time the plastic j channel cracked.I took it to Sandusky Canvas on a Thursday and that night he informed me it was done. When I went and picked it up Michael informed me that he didnt want to use the plastic j Channel from the manufacturer so he used a nylon piece he uses for boats .I took it home and it fit alot better than the original piece the manufacturer of the trailer used.He was very fast,reasonable, and takes great pride in his craftsmanship. I cant say enough about his work. Thanks again Sandusky Canvas.
