Saw this place trying to kill a little time and decided to stop in. It was one of the best music store expirences I have ever had. The staff seemed super knowledgable about the products and was incredibly helpful. If youre out in sandpoint and wanna browse some gear I would completely recomend you stop in!

I recently bought a guitar and case and spent a good chunk of money. When I got home I was looking at the invoice and noticed they snuck in 3% fee on top of the 7% in taxes! This fee was for not paying in cash. The invoice said there is a 3% charge for debit or credit. This was an extra $20.46 that they did not tell me about. If I had known this, I would have paid cash. I was so excited about my new guitar I didnt check the invoice before leaving. Plus, who does that! It reminds me of sleazy car dealership tactics to pad their profit hoping you dont notice. It really surprised me they get away with this in such a small town. I will be going to Couer dAlene for my guitar needs now. And like another post said, the vibe there is not good.

Writing this as I see they are advertising on Craigslist. I went in there once and felt very uncomfortable. I was followed around the shop. They are super paranoid about customers handling their guitars. Even cheapies need to be handed to you by staff and this was pre-Covid. I believe it was the owners wife who was present at the time. Ive been to lots of shops and not one doesnt let you handle the ordinary guitars. No need for me to go back which is too bad because I love guitar stores. I would love to see their Heritage collection but not worth the experience.

The Owner, Jack, is extremely knowledgeable and generous sharing information. Wilburn has an excellent selection of some great guitars. You owe it to yourself to spend a little time in this shop.

Family owned and ran by father daughter, won’t help you if you have cheap guitar and, supper opinionated about Taylor’s. Wish it could be cooler but does not pass vibe check.

Bought a guitar case for our son here because the one we ordered online somewhere didnt fit. Sarah was very helpful fitting one to the smaller size. About a month later, we came in to buy new strings. Sarah was very knowledgeable, pointing us to the right strings and stringing the acoustic guitar for us in less than 15 minutes. This friendly local family-owned shop is where will be coming for all our guitar needs in the future!

Scott is a very personable, knowledgeable guy who obviously loves talking to folks about music and about guitars, in particular. I had a very enjoyable experience at his shop. The guitar selection is very good and I found exactly the electric guitar and amplifier I wanted. Now, Scott is going to do the tune-ups on my acoustics and he promises speedy turn around.

Every instrument I have taken in here has been professionally repaired. These people really know what they are doing and they are really decent to deal with. I will definitely continue to do business here.
