Panhandle how I love thee. Let me count the ways. I have searched the world over and no other affogato has yet surpassed the velvety panhandle texture, the bold and tantalizing flavor selections, nor the quality espresso you have chosen. My favorite? Orange with chocolate freckles affogato!! I’ve tried many flavors and nothing compares with Panhandle!!
Do yourself a favor and get a scoop (or two) here. It’s pretty darn amazing. Even more outstanding was the service. In particular - Azalea - she had such an incredible attitude. She is a great example of what customer service should be.
A great place to go with your friends! i mean, fast service, seating, and REALLY good ice cream. it is small though, so you cannot socially distance during busy hours. theres some milk-free ice cream options too.
Great ice creams, yeah. Great service, check. Good location, sure. But... try the Affogato... you like European Espresso... this is that in a cup of vanilla ice cream. Yeah... Ill be back.
Great little place. Get a cone and go for a walk on the boardwalk behind the building on the water. Dont forget to read the historical signs as you go down.
Great place, staff was awesome, and so is the selection of coffee and ice cream! I ordered the 2 scoop blood orange and chocolate. It is currently on my top 5 now. Brought my nieces and nephew and they had a blast trying to figure out which flavor they wanted due to every item sounding amazing. Was quite happy they had gluten free cones available since one of us has a gluten allergy. Will definitely come by more often during the summer at city beach!

Great coffee and ice cream! Many choices of ice cream too. The lines are long. The interior is small. Be prepared to wait a bit and to stand in (possibly) two lines. Worth the wait!
Decent place, prices are a little high but not too bad. Need to keep their products up to date, but perhaps thats a COVID thing, we couldnt get the right tshirt or coffee mug we wanted. The ice cream was decent though.

Pretty sure this is the best icecream in Sandpoint! Loved the many and creative flavors! One can tell it is fresh and handmade! If they dont have a flavor you like that is fine since they create original flavors every month or so. A great place for a family or date or just want to a quick treat from a quality place. It is a small venue so if you have a big group dont plan on sticking around and sitting down.
All I can say is ......... OMGOSH!!!!!! They have the most AMAZING flavors!!!!! So, so, SO GREAT!!!! Will DEFINITELY be going back again and again ..... you know, so I can try ALL the flavors!😁 And, they sell pints!😲🤯👍

Something has changed in the way this store is managed. Still great ice cream in a cup but if you want a waffle cone, good luck. We are there 2 or 3 times a week for 1 waffle cone and 1 cup. Lately, they have been out of waffle cones, which are made on site, and have just one person scooping ice cream. If you have 7 or 8 people in front of you, which is common, the wait has been 20 minutes. Today when we asked for a waffle cone the employee said the waffle iron was broken. Call me crazy but if you’re trying to sell ice cream cones maybe invest in a backup waffle cone maker. And go back to two scoopers. There are enough customers leaving when the line is too long to pay for another person.

It was nice and clean when I went here. It was not busy at all when I went about 9:00-9:30. I didnt get any coffee or ice cream someone else in my party did and he said it was great.

This place is a heaven of ice cream for me and my family. Whenever we go to Sandpoint Beach Park this is a must to have stop for us. I love there Huckleberry ice cream the most and like other flavors too (coffee, orange & dark chocolate freckle).If you go to Sandpoint, I would recommend you to visit this place to try some ice creams and fill yourself with yummy sugar.

Wonderful ice cream, they have a few regular unchanging flavors, but most of their flavors change through the season. Lots of vegan options which isnt my preference, but I love having the option when friend or family visit.

This is the best ice cream around. I live in coeur dalene but drive here on occasional weekends just to buy the ice cream. There are so many wonderful creative flavors that you cant experience anywhere else. Theres no way I can ever go back to store bought ice cream. You guys are awesome!

Loved this ice cream shop! I a major ice cream lover and purposely seek out ice cream shops wherever I go. This has topped my list of favorites. I had the Buttermilk Huckleberry single scoop, which was very generous! I like that! Along with the fresh made waffle cone... DELISH! I wish I didnt live 9 hours (drive) away or Id be back in a heartbeat...or daily!!! Oh yeah, the staff was great, too! Store clean and when I got there with my three girls, there was a long line, but it moved rather quickly!

So much wow! We ventured into Sandpoint on a Sunday afternoon. We were told by our sister in law that we had to try this place, so we left our amazing vacation spot to give it a try. The flavor offerings are unique and delicious!! The coffee was good. The seating outside worked out well for us since we had a dog. The six of us who went were so glad we did!
This place was an absolute gold mine. Amazing ice cream, root beer, cold brew, and nitro on tap. With a crazy assortments of local syrups and cones. The staff were a blast, interested in their work, and incredibly helpful. I wish this was closer to home. Although Id make the 21 hour drive just for the ice cream.

We love Panhandle!! Stopped in for ice cream and just couldnt choose one flavor so we did tried a few. The coffee ice cream was heaven sent and packed with coffee flavor, and the buttermilk huckleberry was deliciously creamy. If Im every in Sandpoint again, I will be stopping here just for the coffee ice cream again!
Very interesting, fun flavor combinations. Patient with samples before we decided on order. Waffle cones are homemade and more fragile than what I expected. Convenient location.

Normally we love this place, however, the guy working today was a real (insert unpleasant word here), so our family turned around and left. Because of his rude demeanor, the shop lost 4 customers today and we probably wont come back in the future. I do not support rudeness.

The orange dark chocolate freckle ice cream was the best! So why dont the get 5 stars? We travel a lot and know when someone is seriously asking about us out of interest or when they either want a good review or are following a customer service script. The young man who waited on us asked the same questions of the people before us and those who followed us. We would have been happy to eat our ice cream in peace and quiet.

So good every time. Amazing unique flavors of ice cream, some of which regularly change. Some of them are the good old regulars, chocolate and what not, and then theyll have flavors like honey lavender and Bleu cheese pear for those who like different or weird but surprisingly good (like me). They had this one with honey and pumpkin seed praline that I absolutely loved. All of it is top notch taste and texture in my opinion.

It was amazing! They had 4 choices of non-dairy ice cream. Im use to going without and here I had to choose one!! I sampled 2 flavors and chose the Almond-Autumn. It was wonderful is all I can say. I dont think a person use to dairy ice cream could tell it was milk free. Hurry, its a limited time selection. Wish I lived closer!

Ice cream was good, but to unique for me. I like a good chocolate fudge without the mint in it, was to minty and overcook the chocolate taste. Workers were great, store was clean... they run out of a couple flavors which happens when you make it fresh.
