I once ordered a straight razor from this shop and it arrived not as described in every way. Whoever is attempting to restore razors at classic shaving is clearly clueless. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, especially for their vintage razors. Its safe to say you should avoid any razor seller out of Sandpoint, ID.

Dont order from these people! I placed an order a month ago and they still havent shipped. Ive emailed numerous times and they still have not gotten back to me. Check them out on the BBB. Numerous complaints. Not sure if they are really still in business.

We are in horrible times right now, no argument here! However, I have sent 5+ emails. Continued to call countless times to see if I could reach anyone. No response to emails and not answering their phones. Again, uncertain times we are in but that is when the character of a person or company should shine through. However, not this place. Taking an individuals money and not providing a response or explanation is simply bad business. Do not order from this company if you ever want a response from customer services. Definitely DO NOT order for overnight shipping. They will take your money and mail it via the postal service anyway. Not the company or customer service the reviews indicated.

Classic Shaving is one of the very few businesses I actually enjoy doing business with. Their store is stocked with quality products, many made in the USA. Not only that, but the prices are very low.Classic Shaving is also very fast. My orders were processed and shipped in less than 24 hours. The customer support is also great. Friendly and fast help with any questions.On a personal level, I went from shelf products to learning to shave with a safety razor and soap. It is saving me around $25/month. Getting a real shave not only feels good on my face, it saves my money for the important things in life. Like going on dates and buying new power tools!

This is a great razor! Love the openness of the design, it is a little wide though. I’ve shaved with it 3 times so far using a Feather Pro Guard blade, it is top notch! You can get a different razor with a different design to suit your fancy, but you can’t get a better one!

EDIT: Im sorry to have to edit this review as my past experience was good. From my personal go to; to never again will I use this company. Four emails and one attempt to contact them through their Facebook page later and I still dont have a response. Placed an order early in April and now as of 4/23 I still have no clue as to the status of my order. Im now having to force a refund because they refuse to answer any of my attempts to contact them. Never again will I use this company for my shaving products. I urge all of you to steer well clear of this place. I have been using the Occam single blade razor for several days and the shave is nice, but it does not compare to my double edge safety or straight razors. The razor is well made, but the blade feels like it could slip at anytime. I would be sure that the blade is seated well before each shave or you could cut yourself if the blade does happen to slip.The razor is made out of stainless steel with no evidence of where it was made. I did some research and the razor seems to be made in China and assembled in the USA. Please note this razor will only accept certain Feather single edge blades. I did order the Feather Professional Light Blade and they do not fit this razor. I am using the Feather Pro Guard razor blades. I feel that it would be much better if the blades were included in the box with this razor. They do fit the razor head, but you will hear a rattle. I would suggest going to the instructional video for this razor since the instructions in the box are not that clear. Also, check the razor heads that you receive. I did receive three head attachments, but one was not included for the least aggressive or number 1 shave. I do like the looks of the razor and the quality so I will give it a 4. This would not be my everyday razor..Always enjoy the shave.

I recently tried the Blades Grim Shaving Soap (Smolder), and experienced the best shave of my life! I never thought the soap / cream used would affect how close the shave would be. It lathered well (only had to apply once), protected well and has a great scent. You have a new lifetime customer

I have purchased several items and they have been top notch. My purchases were on line and they arrived in a timely manner. Yes you can buy similar products from your local chain drug store or retail outlets. However, you will not be getting the same quality product thus not able to experience and enjoy the full effects of true Gentleman Grooming.

Been using the Smolder Beard Oil for over a year and just received another order. Love the scent! I also have recently started using the Smolder Beard Shampoo, Conditioner, Shaving Gel and After Shave gel. They all live up to the quality and results that I expect from Classic Shaving. Do not buy from this website. I ordered a product early April. Its almost the end of April and I have not received any updates through email or text. I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions and no one has responded back. I guess I just got scammed out of my money.

I have been using Classic Shaving products for over 10 years. I think that their shaving soap pucks are superior. I alternate between Vanilla and African Musk. get rich lather for a great shave!

I have been using Classic Shaving for years. They are simply the best.

Our local honemeister hung up his strop and we found Classic Shaving honing service on the internet. I have used the honing service 3 times and found it quite reliable. The turnaround is pretty quick, they let you know when the razor is on the way back to you. I will keep using them until a local honemeister becomes available again (if ever...)
